I loveeee Indian food and was so excited to come and try this place after seeing the good reviews. To me this was just okay. I have eaten Indian food in middle eastern and Asian countries so this is prob why I feel this way. The flavors aren't as fresh or strong as they are in other countries. I got the hottest spice levels and it wasn't hot at all to me. Usually with Indian food hot will have you sweating The service was good the waitress was nice. I'd eat here again just to get something different than other restaurants in Valdosta.

Okay, this is a partial review. We went for dinner and due a number of things, we only could stay for appetizers so keep that in mind. So what happened? My daughter's boyfriend had to leave at a certain time for a school related event, so we were in a hurry. It took quite a while for our server to come to us, then even longer to get our drinks. Then the manager came and took our appetizer order and stated they had a huge order come in before us, so food would not be out for 20 minutes. At first I was angry, there were only four tables filled in the whole restaurant, but about 10 minutes later we saw a huge to go order go out the door and it all made sense. We only got appetizers before we had to leave. But when the appetizers came, they were delicious - I mean, smack me in the face, call me Aunt Sally, but don't forget to call me for dinner good. While only had a few items, naan with lamb, naan with spinach, dips, and fried vegetables but they were fantastic. And no, there is no excuse for making people wait 45 minutes to get appetizers, but the quality of the food was pretty amazing. We are not in town often, but we are already making plans to give them another try. Because food this good deserves a second chance. Maybe we can get our appetizers in less than 30 minutes this next time.

I believe this to be truly authentic Indian cuisine. I mean take a look at it. It taste just like it looks and smells. I was picking up food next door and saw the restaurant on yelp and it was definitely a passage to india since I was on my way to my destination. Had to take it to try out-because I was in a rush and the next time I come back, I will sit and enjoy my food. Restaurant looked very clean and the owners were great, friendly people.

My husband & I had the lunch buffet. Delicious! We look forward to coming back for dinner.

Loved the lunch buffet and the chai tea hit the spot. Not really any service (not needed) so this rating is on food only.

We really need more locally owned restaurants that offer something different from the usual national chains, and for a while this place filled that gap incredibly well. When it first transitioned to Hungry, the same manager stayed on for a couple of months and the food and service were just as great as before. Unfortunately, once management changed again, things really started to go downhill. The last few times I've visited, the quality of both the food and the service has noticeably declined. My most recent visit was especially disappointing, the dishes lacked flavor, freshness, and the care that used to set this place apart. Another thing I've noticed recently is cleanliness. There are often tables with dirty dishes and silverware left from prior guests when you arrive, and they sometimes remain that way throughout the meal. It adds to the feeling that attention to detail has slipped. I'm writing this not to tear down a local business, but because I genuinely want to see Thomasville have more great dining options, and I'd love to see Hungry return to the level it once had. I hope management takes this feedback to heart, because there was a time when this was easily one of the best spots in town, and I'd be the first to come back regularly if the quality improves again.

We were hoping for strongly herbed meat shaved from a spit, but ended up with tasteless chicken breast chunks. The bread was good, but the components were bland -even the tzat tziki couldn't inject enough flavor to make the meal palatable. For a staff so concerned with clean floors, no one had noticed the salt shaker on our table that was completely clogged with some kind of dried & hardened sauce. We went with hopes of something at least reminiscent of the gyros we'd had in Europe. We won't be returning.

Our Mediterranean dishes are yet another popular option, and our vegetable wrap and fried-to-perfection falafel plate are sure to appeal to both meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. We started with their mixed platter as appetizer, which comes with chicken kebabs, chicken tikka and shrimps and lamb. We also tried their mysore dosa and Bombay chicken dosa. The service was very good, and the mango mojito was well crafted. This was all because the poor guy was host, bartender, server, and bus boy. The food, on the other hand, was a different story. We started by ordering Chicken 65 and Samosas for an appetizer. They took forever and came out barely warm. For dinner, my wife ordered the chicken korma and I the Chole (Chana) Masala. We also ordered the butter naan and the cheese and garlic naan. My wife's dish was okay. It's not as good as several other places in town. My dish was really weird. It's one of my favorites, usually, but this came out as a thin brown sauce with chickpeas that has just been taken out of the can...a bit al dente. This was not the usually thick masala that I've had many other places. This sank right through the rice. It was not good and I did not take it home as leftovers. The naan, for which you pay $3-4 was a single piece of naan cut into four pieces. The garlic cheese naan had garlic butter and a cheese powder of some sort sprinkled on top. Not a good value. There are other, more amazing Indian restaurants in town that we will continue to frequent. We've given this two tries and won't be back.

The lunch menu let our family of four eat family style and try a number of things, all of which were delicious. We had enough leftovers for another meal, which they helped us pack with all the right containers. The advantage of ordering is the dishes are prepared fresh, and to me tastes better than eating off a buffet line. The mushroom mutter was my personal favorite, and it was quite rich so I'm glad there were other dishes to try and fluffy rice and naan to eat it with. On the way our everyone got a mango lassi for the road, and these too were excellent. It's very close to I-10 and easy enough to get to when traveling. We left with food, drinks, had freshened up our travel waters (which was very clean tasting from the restaurant), and were in a great mood from eating a proper sit down lunch.
