And honestly, probably the best Indian cuisine I've had in over 5 years. No joke. The Red Chillez Chicken 65 was fresh, and perfectly balanced seasoning. I loved the Chicken Tikka, and my wife was crazy over the Kadai Lamb. Great experience, and cleanliness of the restaurant was a bonus. Keep local places like this in mind instead of the mid, lackluster corporate chains that always disappoint.

We were seated immediately and we ordered papri chat,, veg and chicken hot and sour soup, rasam, spring rolls, chili momos and biryani. They messed up veg and chicken hot and sour soup, as to who it was supposed to go to, the mom's were really salty as well as biryani. Apparently spicy meant make things salty instead. It was flavorful but really salty.

We really need more locally owned restaurants that offer something different from the usual national chains, and for a while this place filled that gap incredibly well. When it first transitioned to Hungry, the same manager stayed on for a couple of months and the food and service were just as great as before. Unfortunately, once management changed again, things really started to go downhill. The last few times I've visited, the quality of both the food and the service has noticeably declined. My most recent visit was especially disappointing, the dishes lacked flavor, freshness, and the care that used to set this place apart. Another thing I've noticed recently is cleanliness. There are often tables with dirty dishes and silverware left from prior guests when you arrive, and they sometimes remain that way throughout the meal. It adds to the feeling that attention to detail has slipped. I'm writing this not to tear down a local business, but because I genuinely want to see Thomasville have more great dining options, and I'd love to see Hungry return to the level it once had. I hope management takes this feedback to heart, because there was a time when this was easily one of the best spots in town, and I'd be the first to come back regularly if the quality improves again.

I am definitely not an expert in this cuisine, but my brother and I checked out this place since it was a meeting point from both of our works. It was incredible: friendly staff, amazing food. This time we wanted quick take-out and the ordinary pizza/Chinese options wouldn't cut it so we ordered from Persis Byriani. TBF, we have limited experience with Persian dishes so we ordered some items with which we were entirely unfamiliar. Sadly, the whole of our meal was limp, lukewarm, and a bit greasy. The flat bread which had absorbed too many flavors while steaming in the take-out bag was a huge disappointment. Fresh from the pan, it is a real treat and difficult to do at home properly. I even tried pan frying to get it back to normal but it came out even chewier. I think that it would be a better test to eat at the restaurant and get a fresh take on the dishes. Plus, the staff could better advise what flavors and spices we were getting.

This food was good not just as good as I had just eaten. Service was ok, not excellent and not bad.

We were hoping for strongly herbed meat shaved from a spit, but ended up with tasteless chicken breast chunks. The bread was good, but the components were bland -even the tzat tziki couldn't inject enough flavor to make the meal palatable. For a staff so concerned with clean floors, no one had noticed the salt shaker on our table that was completely clogged with some kind of dried & hardened sauce. We went with hopes of something at least reminiscent of the gyros we'd had in Europe. We won't be returning.
