We have driven this road for years visiting our son in TN. This was the first we've noticed A Bag To Go. We stopped and ordered at the window to stretch our legs while we waited. The burgers and fries are made fresh to order and oh.so.good! Every burger is handmade, grilled then topped with romaine lettuce, red tomatoes, pickles, fresh slice of sweet onion, ketchup, mustard and mayo. Can I just say it was delicious. The crinkle cut fries were too hot to hold at first--the way we like them. My only negative, they serve canned sodas, not fountain drinks. Next time we'll try their hot dogs and chicken tenders. The sign boasts that's what they're known for. I could t get a photo of the menu since the only one was in the drive-thru lane. Our order was just under $20-a cheeseburger combo (fries and a drink), and one cheeseburger (cheddar). read more

A Bag to Go offers hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders and more for a pretty competitive price. It is definitely a no-frills type place. I pulled into a gravel driveway and walked up to a window to place my order. I ended up going with two chili dogs. They were $1.75 each. For the price, you can't go wrong and the hot dogs were pretty good. I would recommend here. read more

I had a steak and shrimp and it wasn't as good i expected it to be, the veggies were over cooked and its like they fried the rice in only soy sauce. I was really happy about the shrimp being clean, I'm the type of person to only eat shrimp if I'm cleaning it. Oh my goodness if you want a real homemade hamburger you need to come here. There hamburgers are just what you would fix at home and they taste great. I was a little disappointed when they did not steam my hot dog bun. But I will still give them a very high recommendation. The prices are good the food is great. These are the kind of chili dogs you can eat with one hand in three bites while riding a bicycle. Rich meaty chili rides the fresh tender bun well. Weenie has never met a rabbi. Chili has never been to Texas, zero beans. It's a mild chili, almost sweet like your momma would make but jazzed up a mite. Chili is better on Thursday than it is on Monday. Service is agreeable without getting into your business. Easy to eat three. On a good day I could have eaten four. I'm salivating now just remembering the flavor. read more

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Moody AFB. We ordered three slaw dogs and a hamburger with two fried apple pies. That was truly the best burger I have ever eaten. It was not a frozen patty in the least. The slaw dogs were amazing with a hint of garlic and onion. The fries that came with the burger were seasoned lightly. Our fried apple pies had to be locally made. Flaky crust, melt in your mouth, apple pie delicious!!!! Not only was the food outstanding, the people were the most polite I have met in a food industry. Add to this the price was very reasonable. For our meal which came with two drinks and a bag of chips it was about $13-14. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone! What a well kept little hot dog joint! $1.25 will buy you a chili dog - soft buns, tasty frank and chili made just right!
