Stone Pho is a relatively new establishment, with the typical no-frills table setup of a Vietnamese restaurant plus a little extra modernization on the walls. Their menu isn't super big either - which also can be a good thing if the quality of each dish is better as a result. Oh boy, they didn't disappoint at all. The Stone Pho Special was everything I wanted it to be and more - the broth was incredibly flavorful, even without hoisin sauce, the meats were all great quality, and who doesn't like a short rib in the bowl? It was incredible to say the least - and I can't recommend this place enough. I'll happily be coming back the next time I'm in Valdosta. read more

One of the two best pho spots in Valdosta, in my opinion. While there is another pho restaurant nearby, (Saigon Corner) I find the broth and overall flavor here to be much better. The staff is always friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the pho is consistently delicious. I also recommend the fried shrimp appetizer--it's one of my favorites. The restaurant itself isn't the cutest or trendiest place in town, and the bathrooms could use a little TLC, but I come here for the food, and it never disappoints. I've tried the boba tea as well. It's decent, though it tastes like it may use powdered flavors. This is one area where the competition has an edge--they offer better (fresh)teas and a more variety , very aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. That said, when it comes to pho, Stone Pho wins for me every time. The flavor & service keeps me coming back. The staff is super nice. read more

We've gotten to go orders a few times but today we decided to eat in the restaurant. The area is a good size and today (Sunday lunch) was pretty busy. We got the last table available. They have a nice tea bar to the side and lots of to go orders but it was still calm and inviting. We were greeted and brought drinks. We enjoyed the spring (shrimp) rolls for an appetizer. Hubby and our oldest son both got the oxtail Pho. It came out boiling (I mean boiling) hot in a metal/stone bowl. It was delicious. I tried the HUE'S STYLE NOODLE SOUP BÚN BÒ HUÊ it has a unique flavor of shrimp paste, lemongrass & chilli spices flavor. It's come with sliced beef brisket, pork loin, pork paste, ham hock. My families here but I have for all the time where I live in New York City so when I saw that this would be opening up while I was here I had to try it I was there doing the short grand opening the place was very nice they also have a drink shop for bubble tea and other drinks. This would actually be my second time going to it this time I went with some friends they place the food was pretty good everything was very fresh. I love spicy so that's why I got the bun Bo hue. We have been there twice now. The first time I had the Pho soup it was absolutely amazing. The second time I had the Udon soup, so so good. My friend Frank is pictured with the Pho soup that has the beef bone in it and the flat noodles and things, so many ingredients as well as the thinly sliced beef brisket. This place was so delicious! We were seated quickly and greeted by our waiter. We ordered the Taro Ice Blended Milk Tea and I got the Tropical Milk Tea and both tasted amazing! We got the spring rolls for appetizer and they were delicious as well! We decided to go with the Udon Noodle Soup with pork and crab and the rare steak pho. Both were absolutely delicious! I normally drink my Thai milk tea without boba or jellies. This one came with it. I wasn't a fan. The kimchi rice wasn't served warm and the portion was small for the price. The food did come out quickly which was a plus. Overall it was an okay lunch. Servers were very kind but they forgot one of our drinks and never checked on us. So excited to have a pho place in Valdosta. I've been missing Vietnamese cuisine and driving out to Tifton to get my fix, but now I can go around the corner! The broths are delicious. I had bun bo hue there for the first time and it was sooooo good. I usually go for pho, but I'll definitely come back for the BBH. I've been to plenty of Vietnamese restaurants and I'm just so happy to have one here. The portions are a little smaller than I'm used to, but I was never one to finish all my soup anyway, but I sure did eat up that BBH. I'm excepted to keep going and trying more of their dishes!
