You won't find better Thai food anywhere in North Florida! I highly recommend the thai tea (best I've ever had), pad thai, cashew chicken, spring roll, and panang curry. I like that they can make many of the dishes vegan, including the thai tea! The price might seem like a lot for one dish, but it's enough food for a least 2 meals. I also like that they give you a buzzer to notify you when your food is ready so that you don't have to wait by the truck the whole time. They always post their location schedule on their Facebook so you can see where the truck is headed to next. They also post when they have mango sticky rice which is a must!!

Delicious curry! Huge portions. Friendly staff. Fresh ingredients. Great prices for a food truck.

Caught Eim Thai when they were at First Magnitude. What a lovely truck. One of the best Thai meals I have ever had. I ordered native hot and they nailed it. A good amount of heat, but a lot of flavor, as well. The truck is run by two Thai ladies, with someone taking orders from them (son, grandson). Most likely some family recipes served. Fairly standard in the choices (no gang prik, for example), but the flavors are on point (albeit, like pretty much all Ameri-Thai a bit adjusted for our palettes). I would glady go for another round.

Finally caught them at Cypress brewery and I'm so happy! Their truck is so cute! 10/10 best Pad Thai in g-ville! The service was friendly and quick. Omg the Tea is so good I got a second one.

Was recommended to check this food truck out so I did! They have a facebook webpage that tells you where they will be at- usually it is somewhere in Gainesville not too far away. The line was long, so we had to wait for about 30+ minutes before we were able to order and pick up our food. We got #1 and #2 and they were both very savory. It is $13 (including tax) per food and portion size is great! Overall, highly recommend checking this food truck out!!

Eim Thai Food Trucks, Chicken Pad Thai is a take-out favorite. Add this Food Truck to your foodies must list! As a regular patron now, I have followed them for years from lunches at Progress Park in Alachua to evenings at Black Adler in Gainesville. Today, picked up some lunch while the food truck was at The Art Festival at Thornbrook Village in Gainesville, Fl. The Chicken Pad Thai from Eim Thai Food Truck is full-flavored rice noodles, chicken, peanuts, a scrambled egg, bean sprouts, and green onions. I customized my spice level at a comfortable 2, but if you are a spicy fan, go 3! The best part, the partner got the Tofu Pad Thai - spice level 3, and it was pretty good. I am not sure I can handle the heat!

I tried this food truck while attending a downtown art festival in Gainesville. I got the Pad Thai and the portion size was large and the flavors were so authentic. Plenty of pieces of tender chicken, crispy vegetables, and crunchy peanuts amongst noodles with a creamy and spicy sauce. It was wonderful and something I would definitely order again. Hunt down this food truck in Gainesville to find your new favorite source for Thai food.

The ladies at the Eim Thai food truck are awesome and the food is really good too. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Look up their schedule on fb. You can usually find them on Friday and Saturday nights. My fav is the tofu basil with medium heat. So so good!

    Tofu drunken noodles

Very large portions and good value. Got the tofu drunken noodles and they were pretty tasty. I wish the veggies were cooked more and I like when the noodles are a bit caramelized and more brown. Overall, a great place to try.

The crispy tofu came with a fresh salad, and I tried both the ginger dressing and the peanut dressing--couldn't go wrong with either. The Massaman curry was deeply flavorful and comforting, and it came with a clear soup and a spring roll, which was a really nice touch. We ordered dinner portions, which were generous and satisfying, but their lunch specials are super affordable too. Service was pleasant, the food came out fast, and everything tasted fresh. I don't leave reviews often, but my taste buds and tummy were very happy. Highly recommend.

The restaurant is quaint and on the smaller side, but I have never had issues getting a table. We went on a Friday night around 8pm and were seated immediately and the service was quick. We also had the spring rolls and you have to have those - the sauce is incredible!

Arriving an hour before closing time, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and seamless seating despite the quiet atmosphere. The staff made me feel like a valued guest regardless of the hour. I was seated inside, though there is an outdoor patio. However, with the lack of customers and the late hour, it felt better to sit inside this time around. The decor is pretty typical for a Thai restaurant... lots of reds and gold and the ever present dragons. The standout of the evening was undoubtedly the Tom Yum soup. It was bold, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. It alone is worth a return visit. The summer roll was decent but fell a little short of its potential. The shrimp felt sparse, and an overly generous hand with the cucumber threw off the harmony of flavors I was hoping for. My green curry hit all the right flavor notes, but the portion felt slightly unbalanced. A bit more curry to accompany the rice would have made it a truly satisfying main. Minor criticisms aside, Bangkok Square delivers a genuinely enjoyable Thai dining experience. The highs are high enough that I'll certainly be back.

The noodles and veggies had great texture, and the sauce had a nice slightly sweet flavor though I think it could've used just a touch more salt or chili oil to balance it out. Slightly oily overall, but not enough to be a dealbreaker. I swapped the soup for double egg rolls and was glad I did since they were super crispy and satisfying. Service was fast even though it was fairly busy for lunch, and the pricing for the lunch special was great. I'd definitely come back for another lunch here!

We started with the wonton soup, which was visually beautiful. The broth had a rich, inviting color and the wontons themselves were excellent -- thin, delicate wrappers with a very flavorful filling. Unfortunately, the broth itself was a bit underwhelming and lacked depth. A touch of hot mustard helped bring it to life, but it needed more natural flavor on its own. The standout dish of the meal was the Mu Shu Pork. Absolutely fantastic. The portion was generous and the flavor reminded us of classic Mu Shu from WoHop in NYC's Chinatown -- high praise. The pancakes were incredibly thin, almost paper-like and nearly translucent, yet soft and perfect for wrapping. This dish alone makes us want to come back. The Bang Bang noodles were another dish that looked beautiful when served, but the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. The sauce seemed watered down and there was quite a bit of liquid in the bowl, which muted the overall taste. It felt very close to being great, just not fully there yet. Overall, this was a mixed but promising first visit. There's clearly real skill in the kitchen, and when the flavors hit, they hit well. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more dishes -- and we'll happily update this review after our next visit.

With…read morethat being said, most places required a reservation or you had an 1.5h wait ahead of you. After a little wandering around we found liquid ginger. The line wasn't too long inside, so we decided we would try it. They were swamped and very busy still, but the staff was doing their best to accommodate everyone. We waited in a short line for maybe 15min before reaching the hostesses table. We were lucky to get seats at the sushi bar! The interior is very nice and has a nice vibe. This place is really great for nice dinners, nights out, or a good dinner. Service was definitely off that night. Our water specifically seemed to forget about the group of us since we were seated at the sushi bar. It took her 15 to get us waters and our other drinks didn't even come out until after we got out food (a considerable time later). Like I said it was busy, the sushi bar was swamped with orders, but they were working diligently to keep up with the influx of orders. Most of us ordered sushi, so we ended up waiting a considerable amount of time for our meals. My one friend ordered an entree from the kitchen and it came out within 10 minutes of her ordering it. Our sushi was served about 20-30 minutes after her dish. This is frustrating and slightly awkward as my friend felt bad eating while the rest of us didn't have any food yet. Again, this is no fault to the sushi chefs. They were working extremely hard to produce quality sushi for all the guests. My problem came with our server, Emma. She didn't check in on us at all, didn't even serve our dishes to us, and like I said, forgot to get us drinks, etc. While this was frustrating, I do not think this is a reflection of the restaurant overall. It appeared the other serves were fine keeping up with their tables. For the food, we started with the crab rangoons and steamed pork potstickers. These came out within 10 minutes of ordering and were great starters! They each included 6 pieces per order. The crab rangoons were stuffed with ample amounts of cream cheese and crab meat. They were perfectly crispy and I thought these were some of the better Rangoons I've had. The potstickers hit the spot, but weren't anything too special, pretty standard. For my sushi, I ordered the Golden Apple Roll (per our servers recommendation) and a daily special roll called the bonzai Roll. The golden apple roll included spicy crunchy salmon, Fuji apples, mango, and mango sauce. This was decent and something different but not my favorite. 5)3 flavors were super unique but there wasn't a sweetness at all oddly like I was expecting. Instead it had a distinct tart flavor to it. Different, but not my vibe. Now the bonzai roll was a hit! This roll included tuna, salmon, kani, and avocado inside, topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and mayo, then flamed & torched, and finished with eel sauce, caviar, and scallions. There was certainly a lot going on in this one, but I could really taste all the different elements. The fish was extremely fresh and just divine. I also tried some of my friend's sashimi and was blown away with the quality of the fish--just amazing. Overall, we all loved the food here and would 100% return. The quality is quite good and the fish is melt in your mouth. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their sushi and it is evident in the taste and presentation alone. Now the service was certainly more desirable. I understand it was a very busy night, but our server just appeared to forget about us. Very disappointing as it slightly spoiled our experience and was not a good first impression. Again, we all agreed that we thought it wasn't a fair assessment of the restaurants service overall. I'm hoping next time the service is better and our server can do a better job serving us and checking in on us. I'm also surprised that she never offered to compensate anything in our bill, like our drinks that took 30+ minutes to come out and were served well after we had received our food. But it's not the end of the world. I would still recommend coming here, I actually think their sushi is better than Dragon Flys, better priced, and dare I say higher quality!

Oh my god, I took a single bite and didn't speak to my friend for 15 minutes as I continued munching it down. It was amazing.
