Burrito
Corey B.

First visit, very enjoyable time. Great atmosphere and the staff seemed very friendly. I hade the pobalano peppers, one Cuban pork the other shredded chicken. Nice size portions and very tasty. I'm not a huge black bean fan, but their's were outstanding. Wife had a burrito which she really liked. The other couples order got messed up so that was disappointing, they were going to fix it but they said no it was OK. Kinda surprised they charge for chips and salsa, maybe that's a southern "thang". But overall very good food prices were in line and I'd stop back if I have the opportunity.

Delicious tacos. $3 at the bar area on a Thursday. Ladies night plus music bingo! BOGO appetizers. Always worth it

Loaded Yucca

Wow. I felt dull coming in and as soon as I took a bite of my food (the loaded yuca with shredded beef for happy hour and the beef empanadas), the flavors brought color back to my brain lol not being dramatic, this food is soooo good. Def coming back when I need a Latin fix! I also asked for their spiciest sauce and it's soooo perfectly spicy and flavorful! 10/10

Happy Hour!

Wonderful Food! Excellent service and fun atmosphere! Todd and Jen behind the bar are the best! Great happy hour specials.

I make better tacos at home and I am no chef! Plus, we kept having to go find the waitress just not overall a good experience!

From the moment we walked in, every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The hostess graciously worked us in, even though they were not expecting us. When I asked if we could move outside because we had an infant with us and didn't want to disturb other diners, the manager couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. He moved our table without hesitation and made us feel like it was a pleasure--not an inconvenience. Our server, Andreas, was absolutely exceptional. His attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care elevated an already wonderful meal. By the time we left, we felt like family. The food was incredible from start to finish, but the baked ricotta appetizer deserves a special mention--I would come back just for that! Thank you to Andreas and the entire team at Joelle for your outstanding hospitality! Experiences like this are rare, and you have earned customers for life.

The lasagna was unconventional but not in a good way, ravioli filling was hard and not so great, gluten free pizza was soggy and falling apart. One of the four meals was satisfactory. Hi Everyone, Where…read morecan you go to enjoy lunch or diner while you and your friends play a three games of pool? Yes, this is an age old question that has tried Men's souls for over a decade, lol. The ambiance here is a bar and grill decor, you know dark, and laid back so you can relax as you enjoy your lunch or dinner. However, I do not recommend it after 7:00 PM which should cover about 70% of us Low Country patrons. Their service was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. My 16 year old Grandson who was visiting for our annual, golf, beach, fishing, and fondu diners and what ever adventure we enjoy together. You know, the visit which you have done with him and his Sister all of their lives, meaning, each year since they were born while you give their Parents a rest which they have always appreciated for a couple of weeks, or, in few years, a month. But as many of us have experienced 16 is a challenging age for almost all youth just as it was for you and I. In our day, many of us were working in the summer at that age but today, I am very happy to say, many of our Grandchildren will now rotate their friends into their summer jobs which is smart, while they are gone, and are now available for visits. But what to do that do to entertain your digital challenged linage? Some of whom only venture outside at night at 16 as they feel the extreme heat of our days can stifle even the heartiest our souls. You still want them to feel you are cool, like when you, and they were younger and you visited Ft. Jackson in Savannah, or to the Tall Ships that were docked, Putt Golf, the Kazoo factory, days trips on the Pirate Ship, The Beaufort Water Festival for everything to MoTown Monday while dancing and singing along, to Bed and Raft races, Bocce, or The Chocolate Tree or summer camp each year for a week, or for trips to St. Augustine, or Disney World. But at 16 that dog just don't hunt. So what is a cool Grandpa to do? I decided we would venture out to enjoy some fried gator (tastes like chicken), which he had never eaten before, and which were perfectly prepared. Their Burgers were delicious with an excellent taste. We had a great time together playing pool, while laughing at a few of our shots, and talking while hanging out together.. And you know, he really had a great time doing what some of the time, I enjoyed doing in my youth. So if you feel you need to revisit your youth, possibly with your next generation, or just want enjoy a leisurely meal and libation with some friends, we can recommend Tailgators Bar and Grill for some, with Grandson, or none. So stop by and give Tailgators a try as you might find, you get what you need. Enjoy!

We do birthday celebrations all the time at Truffles, your food always is delicious! And your…read moreservice is excellent!

Hi Everyone, Where…read moredo you go for forty-seven? "Comon Man", for 47? Forty-seven year old Birthday? Nah...forty-seven years of Wedded Bliss, if that even exists, in OZ? Gentleman, in my opinion here, you have to be careful to make it, a very memorable evening, enjoyed by all, but not to fantastic, or over the top, because then, what do you do, to top it, for the 50th? Yes, hope does spring eternal, my love, when you are so throughly happy! But where to go? Truffles Cafe to the rescue! Hun, Honey? Are you sure you want to go there for our Anniversary? "Yes, I really do as I have always wanted to try it." Done! If my muse is happy, I adjust my aura as that puts us both in the Zen zone, together. But who to accompany you, and the love of your existence? A couple, with which you both enjoy sharing your life's events as they are a lot of fun. In our opinion, the word "Cafe", in Truffles name is a misnomer. And I get it, with their Parmesan Truffle Fries, and Baked Brie appies, or Chicken Pot Pie and Grilled Meatloaf, entrees, ok, Cafe. However, It clearly does not convey the breath, strength, and depth of this excellent restaurants' fare, service, and well appointed, pleasant, and soothing ambiance. All, but one of our meals were exceptional. Our Tuna Wonton appetizer was a tastebud lollapalozer. Yes, yes, yes, again, and again, please. Their Caesar Salad was very tasty. Then followed by the Mango glazed Salmon was delisheoso. Translation, order it, and savory each bite of this wonderful meal. Their Fresh Catch was Halibut which was fantastically prepared, and season oh so nice, you should have it twice. Their Full Rack of Baby Back's with their savory, tastebud thrilling, tangy, BBQ sauce, fell apart in my mouth, and were a thrill to consume with the delightful glass of Cabernet, I chose. Similar, but nothing like being a part of our shared essence, for our forty-seven years of joy, laughter, pleasure, commitment, and passionately expressed love for each other, which is never misunderstood, because it comes from the very fiber of our beings! Ya can't fake, great! The exception to our Anniversary ballgame score, Sports Fans was the Grilled Tuna as the male, in our terrific friends couple, felt it was over cooked, did not deliver the taste, nor texture we were all enjoying in each of our taste centric appetisers, salads, and entrees. Keeping score? Well at this point, it is 6-1, but we are not done! Our service was very good, meaning, pleasant, polite, and efficient and would have qualified as outstanding, except... later, below. Truffles Cafe's own Key Lime Pie which we shared (did I mention the FULL Rack of Ribs?) was mouth watering, smooth, with a sinful, flavor that dares you to remain good. I wish you well with your conflict. We gave in, and feel so much better for it, in our failure to be good. Billy Joel's lyric I feel said it best, "I'd rather laugh with the sinners, than cry with the Saints, the sinners are much more fun," so be bad, it's only desert, Pilates will there tomorrow. The Blondie, we were told was delicious with its competing chocolate and caramel sauces putting your tastebuds squarely, in flavor-town. Ok Sports Fans, we can update our score at 9-1.5. What? Well, in my opinion, one thing that Truffles Cafe needs to fix today, is the way our bill was presented. I we received no itemized receipt at all, but only a total with sales tax and a request for our form of payment, which, in our opinion, is not professional. It was our 47th Wedding Anniversary, so I decided to let it go. But again, in my opinion, this should never happen. But back to our ball game Anniversary score, and "Mighty Casey at The Bat", hit a Grand Slam somewhere in downtown Mudville. So there is tremendous joy, a longing to return to all that fun, and most especially to reacquaint, while emerging ourselves in all that delicious fare. So we invite all of you to try Truffles Cafe in Bluffton, SC, as we feel when you add up your own score, you will find it is a win for you and yours. So be there or be square! Know what I mean, Jellybean? Enjoy!

I was extremely disappointed with the hostess, who also answers the phones. Another customer apparently had a phone number similar to mine, and the hostess mistakenly entered my number into their reservation system through OpenTable. When I received a text confirmation for a reservation I never made, I immediately contacted the restaurant to address the issue. During my first call, the hostess stated that the reservation needed to remain in place in order to hold the other customer's reservation. I strongly disagreed, as my personal information was being used for another customer's booking. I attempted to cancel the reservation myself through OpenTable, but the app indicated that only the restaurant could remove it. I called back to request that the reservation be properly canceled, especially considering I was spending my own time trying to correct an error made by the restaurant. Unfortunately, the hostess repeatedly insisted it had already been canceled while speaking in a condescending tone. She then placed me on hold without asking if I was able to wait because she had another customer in front of her. When I called back, my calls went to voicemail twice. I ultimately left both a voicemail and an email regarding the matter. Based on this experience, whenever we visit South Carolina in the future, we will not be returning to this restaurant location.
