The iced latte is fantastic and they have the best rye toast I've had in years. They also use quality eggs with orange yolks. I enjoyed my breakfast though I will substitute potatoes for fresh fruit. We also ordered the Agn Mozzarella, which was rich, flavorful, and another great pasta dish. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the chocolate mousse. It just wasn't sweet enough for our taste. The service was amazing. One of my friends has a shellfish allergy, and they were extremely careful to avoid any cross-contamination. Everyone was so friendly, the food came out quickly, and you could tell they genuinely cared. The bread was good but they only dripped about a tablespoon of dipping oil on the plate for about 8 slices of bread. Not even sure why they bothered. The salad came and was very tasty with just the right amount of dressing and cheese. The pizza was delicious as well. Then the bill came and I saw that we were charged $3.50 for the bread and there was no mention of a charge for bread on the menu. Overall quite disappointing!

As Guy Fieri would say, "from the heel, to the squeal." It was created by the Pennsylvania Dutch, as a way to use as much of the pig, as possible. . The same way that many Latin cultures do with a cow. It's a rich complex flavor. By itself, it's a bit strong, so I always put just a little bit of ketchup on mine, and the ketchup adds to, and mellows out the flavor. Some hard-core people actually put grape jelly on theirs. I tried that with a little piece of scrapple one time and no... That's a little too hard-core for me. The eggs were perfectly done, the coffee was great, the toast was a high-quality, rye, and instead of potatoes, I asked for fruit, and got a nice cup of very fresh fruit. A few minutes later, she returned with a flat "come this way," and started walking to a table. I let that entire interaction go, assuming it was just a chaotic, loud brunch rush. My friend arrived shortly after, and we waited about 15-20 minutes with no menus or server. Not ideal, but manageable. We were catching up. When our waitress did come over, she was great. Super friendly, attentive, and the only reason this experience wasn't a complete loss. Food came out quickly, and overall we were there for about an hour, which is completely reasonable for brunch. Then the hostess made sure to leave a lasting impression. The second our plates were cleared, she reappeared, dropped the check on the table with a sharp "here," and walked away. No check-in, no "how was everything," no offer for another coffee; just a not-so-subtle message that our time was up. We left it there and continued talking while finishing our drinks. A few minutes later, she came back and said, "ladies, I really need this table.. you need to leave, I have a huge wait." There's efficient table management, and then there's whatever that was. We had been there just over an hour, while other tables around us had clearly been seated longer. If the goal was to move guests along, mission accomplished, but at the cost of any professionalism or basic hospitality. It was, without exaggeration, one of the most unnecessarily rude and poorly handled interactions I've had in a restaurant. Not rushed, but dismissed. As we walked out there was one couple standing there waiting. I looked around the corner to see if there was anyone else waiting- there wasn't. Food was fine- forgettable, honestly. And with that kind of front-of-house experience, there's absolutely no reason to come back.
