They arrived early to stage their gear and vehicles for an on-time 8:00 AM start. Price was great, service was great, and Marcos was easy to work with from initial interaction through completion. I will bring them back to thin out the canopies in a year or two. One more thing worth noting - during our initial walkthrough I mentioned the new pavers on the ~70' long driveway. Marcos assured me that they would be careful and would pull the large truck only to the end of the driveway ramp. Not only did they do this, but they also brought a bunch of plywood to protect the driveway from tree branches and equipment. Nice touch!

Foreman and crew were very professional and handled everything with precision and care. Thank you…read moreso much! We are 100% happy customers (-: We requested for all of our different palm trees, box shrubs, and podocarpus hedge to be trimmed back (all if not most were at least 2-3 stories tall). The crew was on time, extremely efficicent and communicative. Everyone was very mindful of our neighbors fence, property, roof line and powerlines. Everyone had PPE on and were so incredibly safe when scaling the trees and hedges. Clean up was very thorough. Majority of our fronds and hedge were processed by the chipper and hauled. Our neighbor was so impressed with the crew he also hired them on the spot to take care of his street tree. It is impressive how much green waste we produced that day. Luckily the city picks up yard trimings on the street so his crew broke down anything else we had to sizeable chunks and neatly piled for SJ GreenWaste to pick up. We will be happy to call them again for yearly tree maintenance service.

He set a time for the estimate, let me know he was on the way, and arrived at the time agreed. Joseph inspected my yard areas with me and had some ideas that I hadn't considered. He gave a competitive estimate, including an accurate timeframe when his crew would arrive. His team also arrived on time. They're equipped like professionals, including all their gear and grinders. They look like they've been working together for a long time as they were quite efficient. They collected all the scraps and blew away all the debris so my yard looks really clean. After they left, Joseph did a walkthrough with me to make sure everything was done right. Thanks so much. I'll definitely call you guys again when I need more work done.

Javier from JC Tree Experts came to give us a quote on pruning two citrus tress. We were impressed…read moreby his professionalism and clear knowledge of the task at hand. Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. They did a great job on the trees, cleaned up all the debris completely, and even used a blower to make sure they didn't miss anything. I wholeheartedly recommend JC Tree Experts. They simply could not have done a better job!

The price quoted was fair and I was able to get the work scheduled in a few days. The crew of 4 that came out was very efficient in removing the tree as well as the stump. As they removed the stump with the grinder, they put up a tarp to prevent debris from flying on to our property. Upon completion they asked me to check if the stump removal was sufficient. The crew also cleaned up the work site and surrounding area very nicely! Will definitely used Carlo's for future tree services!

They butchered our trees. The worst were our seven Tristania Larena (multi-stem) trees. These are…read morememorial trees planted in memory of our daughter. These needed some trimming to address what our back neighbors did - cut off branches hanging over 'their back' fence'. So, when Sanchez xx came to our door, we thought an opportunity to get this done. We did read yelp but they only had '5' fives reviews and some pretty pictures. My wife said not enough to ensure satisfaction, but I thought okay. In retrospect these should have been a red flag. But I made the poor decision to trust these incompetent people. We agreed to 'light trimming' on several trees - and - we confirmed this 'multiple times' but somehow this got lost in the translation. When returning home after my post surgery doctor's appointment, we came home to a NIGHTMARE! BUTCHERED TREES!!! We were pissed (actually stronger words). I strongly worded my dissatisfaction to XX . But it fell on deaf ears. He basically said, " I left to give an estimate and saw this when I came back". He added the stupid comments; THEY WILL GROW BACK. That is far from the truth as many are 'slow growing' and it will take many years to have lush trees again. Our White Birches were maned and our once Lucious orange tree was damaged so much that we only had about thirty oranges, while we usually get about 140 to 160. These only produce once a year and its obvious next year's crop will be worse. This sad experience is relived each time we look out our kitchen / nook area and we're so saddened. This will be tragic for many many years until new limbs and leaves grow. I can provide pictures of our skeletons, but it pains us to share the ugliest of trees that were once spectacular trees.
