I called a couple junk haulers and tree services and got some pretty crazy quotes. Then I called A1 Tree Service, texted them a few pictures of what needed to be done, and within five minutes I was given a quote 1/3rd of what some others were asking. Jose came out that afternoon, even though they were busy with other jobs, and said he could take care of it immediately. He was extremely professional and polite, and completely removed all the tree debris within an hour. This is who you want to call if you want great service and a fair price.

We have a Mexican Fan Palm tree which hadn't been trimmed in over a decade and was overdue for some pruning. Carlos came out the morning of, did his estimate and provided a contract for us. His crew was efficient and professional (even taking special care of protecting the other trees and landscaping in my yard from damage). The whole process (from removing the dead fronds and grinding all the leaves) was done in about 2 hours with minimal disturbance to my neighbors. A few palm fronds did fall into the yard next door but the crew offered to go clean it up. Also, one of the guys was up and down the tree like Spider-Man; this was very entertaining for my kids to watch. 5 stars for a job well done and at a reasonable price, too!

I am very happy with the rubber surface work and other work in my backyard done by this company…read more This company was recommended by my son's elementary school. The pricing was reasonable. I did not pay anything until they completed and we inspected the work. The owner planned out and communicated about almost all things really well. The work was done in time as planned. The owner also allocated the workers efficiently. On the days when the concrete and rubber surfaces needed to take time to dry, two workers were on the site; on other busy days when the work was complicated, I saw seven workers. The owner and the superintendent came to check the work progress and talked with me several times during the construction; and I really appreciate that. For unexpected additional work he thought to be good for me, the owner explained clearly about it and gave me choices of having his workers do it or leaving it to our own. He also let me squeeze in a couple of additional work that I came up with during the work process, while making sure that he was in good control of the work schedule. The owner also gave me tips on how to maintain the rubber surfaces and their borders beyond the one-year warranty. All workers on site were nice, courteous and professional. They showed up everyday at 8am. One foreman was on site everyday for the first 13 days, and another foreman was on site for the last 2 days. I appreciated a lot the consistency. Both foremen have worked for this company for over 12 years. If you have any questions, you are welcome to send me a message and ask.

Stephen was very generous in helping us do extra small stuff like trimming a big tree and power washing my old stained driveway. He didn't charge me extra for the small requests I asked for. And we really appreciated that. The final bill was very fair - basically the same as the original estimate, no surprises. Stephen has been very straightforward, transparent, and honest with us; and I could tell he cares about his reputation and client happiness. And he is funny and charismatic, which creates a relaxed vide such that I was comfortable to be my true self and talk about my concerns and requests, even when my opinion differs from his. Also big shout out to Bernardo and Kende. Bernardo is the team lead, and he is awesome, trustworthy, and reliable. Stephen's son, Kende, also regularly come work onsite, and he is very hard working, helpful, nice, and easy to communicate with. I'm glad they could keep the business running within the family!
