I did a last minute catering order for 30 people the day before my brothers graduation celebration and Tin Kitchen came through! I definitely recommended this place if you are in town! Fresh bbq! The Mac and Cheese was creamy and cheesy and the sides were flavorful. Amazing food, you won't disappoint! read more

After an afternoon at the distillery and wineries we stopped here for dinner. This was based on several recommendations from the locals. The place is quite small or at least the dining area is. When I used the restroom I noticed there was a bar on the other side. I'm not sure if it's only for drinking or if you can order food. When we went to order they said their ribs had just won a medal. We didn't order ribs, but would consider in the future. We ordered the starter nachos which came with pulled pork, the meat combo which came with brisket and pulled pork. While everything was flavored well, it was slightly dry and we felt the meat portions could be larger on both the app and the meal. The meal also came with 2 sides. We chose the Mac & cheese and the broccoli salad. The Mac was prob some of the best Mac that I've had at a restaurant and the broccoli salad had a really good taste as well. They have 3 sauces -original, sweet, and pepper. The sweet was the best imo. The original was very vinegary and the pepper just tasted like it had loads of black pepper. Overall the meal and food we had was decent. This place does seem to be a local favorite and fan favorite in reviews and in person. While we didn't have a wait, i could see there being one during busy weekends especially since everything closes on this town by 6. read more

Tin Kitchen-Weston, MO I started my walk around "Historic Weston" on the Tuesday evening snapping pics of the quaint downtown area. A woman walked by with a pizza and I asked her, "Which is better...the pizza place or the place across the street ?" She pointed to the "Tin Kitchen" and said, "That place has the best Bar-b-que in Missouri." A ringing endorsement if ever was one. So my decision was made...Lemme just say SHE WAS RIGHT! ( Altho I only have 1 data point on this) Bar-b-que, for me, has three components...Meat, sauce and sides. The meat...(I had the 2 meat combo...pulled pork and brisket) was moist, flavorful and tender which is ironic considering the whole reason bar-b-que sauce was invented was to moisten dried out, bland meat. The sauce...3 to choose from...original, Carolina and sweet. Altho I normally prefer the vinegary Carolina style, this time I liked the original best. The sides...slaw and beans. The coleslaw was vinegary (making up for my sauce choice) and delicious but not too sweet. (It is hard to make a recommendation here because cole slaw is such a personal choice of each person.) The beans were sweet and saucey but not pasty...(and that is saying A LOT for a guy with texture issues.) You know how sometimes you have to add the sauce on the table to beans to make them better?... not here. This place was great. So good that I ordered another meal to go...( 1/4 smoked chicken and mac & cheese and had the BBQ beans again) for lunch the next day. read more

Great service and delicious BBQ for the area! The brisket was tender, Mac and cheese was creamy and good, and you can't beat broccoli salad! I'm a fan of BBQ sauce and their pepper BBQ sauce is awesome! What a cool place with the nostalgia of the town, cool shops, and beautiful countryside. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area! read more

Very nice find, good portions fair price and best chicken I've had. Ribs, pulled pork and brisket were good also. Don't forget the sides. We did takeout. read more

Wow! Amazing food in a quiet, unassuming locale. My wife took me out to Weston to tour the Holladay Distillery for my birthday. Upon asking the staff at the distillery their recommendation for lunch in town, they both responded immediately with the "Tin Kitchen". There was a 'Polish Pottery Festival' on Main Street so parking was a little tough, but we were able to get a spot and a table as soon as we walked in at 2pm on a Saturday. We always like to share items so we can sample more of the menu and started out with the Smothered Fries. A healthy portion of crispy fries, smothered in their homemade cheese sauce, with an even healthier portion of pulled pork (I honestly wish there was a higher fry:meat ratio). The individual tastes were incredible and was even better combined in one bite. It was also a nice opportunity to sample their 3 sauces. For our entree, we had the brisket with mac and cheese and 24-hour coleslaw. The brisket was so tender and flavorful and there is definitely some magic in that cole slaw. My wife is the mac and cheese fan and she said that she really enjoyed it. It will be tough to try any other restaurant any time I'm out in Weston! read more

My husband kept recommending this place and we waited outside for a seat to open (I kept thinking this better be worth it). Let me tell you, it is!! We ordered ribs, Mac n cheese, coleslaw, broccoli salad, fries, and pigs in a blanket. The ribs had the perfect amount of smoky flavor and just fell off the bone (we got the pepper flavor and the bbq sauce it came with should be sold by the bottle!). All of the sides were delicious, perfect temperature and seasoned just right. Anyone in the area needs to stop by and give this place a try!! read more

Brisket and pulled pork were perfectly done. I got a side of beans and they were awesome. Sweet BBQ is dreamy!

Service was excellent and food came fast. Our server was regularly coming by and making sure we had full drinks. The place was full with Weston visitors as we were eating around noon. They have craft cocktails and a good assortment of beers including local brews. I got the brisket platter that came with toast, some nice pieces of brisket that had just the right amount of bite. For sides both the baked beans and the Mac 'n cheese were solid. The Mac was put in its' dish, topped with extra cheese and then baked so it had a nice top of golden goodness. read more

Somewhere about 15 minutes north of KCI is among the best Brisket I've ever had. At least tied for the best! The Tin Kitchen is nestled in a little quant town with the feel of an earlier time. The streets are spotless and businesses in beautiful row buildings with on street parking. Inside you'll find a restaurant with high "tin" ceilings, hardwood floors & walls, spotless booths, and nice folks. You feel like Andy and Aunt Bea will be at the table next to you. THE FOOD: My wife and I ordered an assortment of meals trying the trinity of BBQ meats. Ribs, Brisket and Shredded BBQ were are fare. Though all are commendable and delicious, the star is the Brisket. Folks it melts in you mouth! It possesses a deliciousness rarely found in little town America. This is the gem you're looking for. When we deal with the word "best" we're in the 5-Star elite category. Make time leave the city and hammer some Brisket. It will change your life. As a recommendation: Try the Cane Sugar Root Beer. It's magic! read more

Excellent BBQ and service off the beaten path in Weston. The BBQ has such good flavor you don't need any of the sauces on the table. Service is friendly and prompt. Pimento cheese appetizer with smoked sausage is a perfect way to start the meal with just enough to enjoy but leaves you ready for your main meal. Worth the drive wherever you are coming from. Good to see that this place is busy on a Monday night but you're still able to walk in and get a table. Great job representing southern BBQ out here in Missouri. read more

We came here after a moderate hike in need of some fuel. Staff came out masked to take our orders. They were very friendly. You can see that the serving size of the wedge salad is generous. It comes with a balsamic reduction and a dressing. I chose blue cheese. I don't eat much sugar in general but the dressing was a bit sweet for me. The meat was tasty but I did find both bbq sauces to be too sweet as well. The 24 hour slaw was different, it's a lighter dressing with again, more sugar. I appreciate them staying open during COVID and working so diligently to take serve us. I have heard the smoked chicken and smothered fries are great, I would give them a try in the future. read more

This was my first stop on my most recent visit to Kansas. I had never been in before, but the smell from the street taunts you until you come inside (and I promise, it's absolutely worth it). It's not a large restaurant, but there are booths and tables that line the sides and a longer table in the back which leads up to the bar area. It was a weekday for lunch and just about every table was full. Something that I love is that there are different BBQ sauces on the table for you to use. The option of being able to try the sauces without having to ask for all of them is so convenient. As this is a BBQ restaurant it was only appropriate that I went with the 2 meat platter (pulled pork and brisket). I chose the fries and broccoli salad as my sides. Everything was absolutely amazing! The meat was flavorful and moist. The fries were perfectly crispy and the broccoli salad was refreshing. I couldn't believe how much food I received for the cost either! If you are in Weston, definitely make sure to come here - it is delicious! read more

I got carry out since I was working and had the Green Chile Cheeseburger and honestly feel like it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was even better than the green Chile Cheeseburger I had in New Mexico, where it's a specialty. The burger also had some tasty pickled red onion which was a nice touch. I'm not 100% sure what the sauce on the side was, but I want more....my order was to go, so I didn't ask. The French fries were hand cut, piping hot, crispy outside and fluffy inside. A shake of salt and they were perfect. Excellent dinner, I will be back. read more

After spending a day strolling around Weston, we ended up at Tin Kitchen for drinks and dinner. The slab of ribs was so delicious! It was well seasoned and fall off the bone tender. The broccoli salad has a light, creamy dressing that is just enough to give it flavor and not so much that makes it feel unhealthy. We enjoyed what we ate at the restaurant and the leftovers too! The food was unequivocally, respectfully, BUSSIN. The brisket was a symphony of flavor when paired with pepper and original bbq sauces. The Mac n cheese was perfected to an art. The fries had both quality, AND quantity. The half chicken platter portions would satisfy the Hulk himself. Tin kitchen deserves Michelin stars and puts Gordon Ramsay to shame, I would gladly eat 3 meals a day here and die in my 40s. Their food and service is amazing. 5 stars isn't enough! read more

Amazing BBQ ribs and bones fall right off. It is better than some of those well-known store in the KC. It is a hidden gem in the area. Parking can be easy or difficult depending the time of the day. The visit started rough but ended well. We were waiting at the front to put our name in and didn't get acknowledged and when we did the waitress with the king white hair went to the lady behind us first. Thankfully the lady said we were in line first. She told us 30 mins so we quickly ran to a store since we had time. After about 40 minutes I went to check on the status and the girl with the banana hair clip rudely told me they called us twice already. We never heard them since they told use 30 mins and we were standing outside the restaurant most of that time. They cleaned a table that was ready then she briefly pointed at the table and walked away. Luckily the waitress serving us was super nice and attentive. We ordered the green chili cheeseburger and Cajun chicken sandwich. My burger was flavorful and delicious, but the chicken sandwich was just OK. read more

Best BBQ I've had since staying in the KC area. Had the half rack with a side of brisket. No fat and definitely fall off the bone. The pepper BBQ sauce was a nice flavor to complement all of the seriously low and slow smoked q! Located in a quant old town with very nice server. Trying the chocolate cake and ice cream now :-). read more

First time in Weston this weekend and this place was fantastic! Our server, Monica was so helpful when it came to gluten free options. All of the sauces are GF and their fries are too!! I did not get sick from eating :) The cheese sauce on the smothered fries is not gluten free. It was a fun atmosphere and Monica would joke back with my group. Overall, a fantastic experience. read more

If you make the day trip to Weston, Tin Kitchen is a great spot for lunch or dinner. They serve pretty decent KC style BBQ platters and sandwiches. They also serve locally produced alcohols from McCormick liquors (great cocktails!) and Weston Brewing Company beers. I had the brisket plate which comes with 2 sides. The slaw was simple but very tasty. The beans were above average. The brisket was super tender and practically fell apart on my fork. They have the interior arranged very well. The space itself is not that large but they have the booths on the sides with a large center table that make it very good use of space. read more

Great bbq, sides, and desserts in a well kept historic building. The service is also excellent.

Nice little place. Wait staff was great. Food was awesome. Has a small town feel and vibe. Pulled pork was very good. Definitely will be back. read more

Busy Saturday visit here and aside from a somewhat rude hostess/waitress, we enjoyed the wonderful food. The TK burger was a fun mix of deliciousness! The base was a locally sourced smash cheeseburger. On top was a generous pile of moist pulled pork topped with onion straws. The bun was huge so after a couple of bites I ripped the top off and enjoyed the gastro delight with fork and knife. The massive pile of fries were perfectly crisp and very tasty. I look forward to going back to try other dishes. And a dessert I was too full to try! read more

A colleague recommended trying out Tin Kitchen after hearing good things about it, so we tried it out my first night in town. I love BBQ and intended on eating a whole lot of it while visiting. The Tin Kitchen is a cute, comfy area that felt warm and inviting both literal and figuratively as the cold was biting. The server was very nice and offered suggestions that I took her up on. She recommended the Mac & cheese describing it as very creamy with melted cheese on top; she was not wrong. It was delicious and creamy, but not overwhelming. I feel like I had five potatoes worth of fries and they were thin and crispy, just as I love. The brisket was delicious and the pulled pork was just as good. I tried the spicy BBQ sauce on top of my meat; it had zip, but wasn't hot to the point of making you sweat or at the expense of good taste. The food was presented very well and I fully intend on taking my wife to the Tin Kitchen when she comes to visit. Maybe I will save room for one of their delicious sounding desserts next time. read more

Been here many times before and it's always been consistently good. Per usual we were greeted with a smile and a friendly face on a Saturday afternoon. Brisket was tender and tasted excellent. For sides we had coleslaw, baked beans, and a side salad. Coleslaw was light and refreshing, salad generous proportions with house made dressing. But let's no forget the star of the show; a basket of fresh cut fries that would feed a family of four. Can I say yummy? They offer three different sauces; sweet, original and pepper. Try it out. Full bar service too! read more

Pretty good BBQ by regional standards. Great location within walking distance of several shops and such. The wait for a table was pretty long on a Sunday and the staff was friendly but pretty stretched for the volume of customers. Not the best location for a large (5+) group. Started off my meal with a dirty glass of water that I didn't see and gulped down food particles then asked for a manager where the blonde haired older woman preceded to tell me the glass was broken and that it was just cloudy when I could SEE black food particles.
