Weston is a charming town with unique shops. Also famous for the Holiday/McCormicks distillery. My family and I went for lunch at the Tin Kitchen. The building is small. The waitress was very helpful and had multiple tables. The food is OK. There is no reason to go out of your way to eat at the Tin Kitchen in my opinion. Went here on a Sunday for lunch. As soon as we walked in it smelled delicious. Pretty busy place but we didn't wait very long to be seated. Cute place. Was built in the 1800's. I ordered the half smoked chicken with coleslaw and barbecue beans. My date ordered the combo sandwich which was pulled pork and chopped brisket. My chicken was very tender and loved the smoked flavor and crispy skin. I loved the barbecue beans. They were so flavorful and had meat in them. I love it when they put meat in beans. The coleslaw was just OK. My date loved his sandwich, fries and Mac n cheese. I tried his fries, they were very good and flavorful. The meat was also pretty tender. I'm usually on the lookout for a great burger which they had quite a few but I thought going to a barbecue place I should have some kind of barbecue food. Highly recommend the Tin Kitchen if you are in Weston! The brisket on the sandwich was phenomenal, and I am usually not the biggest fan of brisket. The original BBQ sauce was my favorite, and honestly one of my favorite BBQ sauces I have ever tried. I thought the sweet BBQ sauce was a little too sweet. I always have loved visiting Weston, and Tin Kitchen is my food choice while I'm in town. My go to entree is the pulled pork sandwich with fries as my side. The pork is juicy, tender, and flavorful. The serving size is more than enough to fill a hungry stomach and to have a little bit of food to enjoy later on! We ate a late lunch/early dinner at the Tin Kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. There were 6 in our party. Most of the booths were filled so I was happily surprised to be seated immediately. Yea! This BBQ restaurant is located in Weston, a small town north of Kansas City. The parking spots along Main Street were all full, no problem, there's parking areas in the back. The restaurant is in an old building that has been refurbished. Totally fits in with the quaint charm of Weston. We got the food ordered and it was shortly served to us. I ordered the "The Carolina" which is a pulled pork sandwich topped with slaw. You get one side with your sandwich and I ordered the fries. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of pulled pork but my brother recommended it. He guided me right, it was wonderful. The fries were equally delicious. They have three types of BBQ sauce: original, spicy, and sweet. I mixed the spicy and sweet together. I was in BBQ heaven with this meal. The waitress was friendly and attentive. She kept our drinks filled and we were drinking a lot of water and tea. I thought it was a reasonably priced menu. I got a very tasty sandwich and fries for $10.50. Score! I think everyone ordered something different and we all really enjoyed our meal. Yep, we'll be back. Next visit, I want to try the brisket sandwich which my husband raved about. read more
