Firecracker chicken
Kevin W.

My friend wanted to come here because he believed they have healthier food options. We came here as they were closing up but they still gave us service. Strange because they were not set to close for another 30 minutes but they already put all the tables up. I ordered the firecracker chicken which tasted freshly made and delicious. It did not taste healthy at all. Higher quality cooking for sure but probably the same ingredients that you get from Panda Express. Took only 15 minutes for us to get our food.

Chinese Mongolian beef with egg fried rice

Still have nothing but great things to say about this place. We always do a pickup order since we live across the street. But the inside looks cute and they have a little tea/boba bar. I tried something new and went out of my comfort zone. (The chicken sandwich) I wouldn't order that again. It was chewy and had a really weird texture also pretty dry. But the week after I ordered the Chinese Mongolian beef with egg fried rice. What amazing flavor that had!! Might be one of my new favorite dishes. I thought it was 10.95 for that dish but after picking your protein and your grain that dish ended up being 16.95 which I thought was weird since it's advertised as Chinese Mongolian beef why am I paying extra for the beef? Haha but anyways I'll still go back. Thanks for keeping my man and I fed Tin Drum!

I went to this place for a bit of a change of pace. I didn't know what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. I started with the crab and cheese spring roll. It was so delicious; I wish it were larger. Then I had the sesame stirfry with salmon. The portion size was very plentiful. I even had to take a portion of it to go. My only complaint was that it was a bit sweeter than I would have liked, but it was good, and thankfully, they didn't skimp on the Salmon. But the star of the show, and she got a 10 out of 10 was the brown sugar Boba tea!! She was a much pretty as she was tasty!

So I decided to give the 10 drama try. I've been wanting some Ramen for a little while and I figured why not!? Overall, I wasn't unhappy at it. It was not the best but it was not the worst either. Solid effort. Sometimes I really judge chain restaurants that do Ramen pretty harshly, but this was pretty decent. The rice was good. If you want a little bit of sweet to it, then order the rice. It came in a very nice portion so you can basically have that as your entree because it's plenty of rice to go around. Everything in the bowl seem very flavorful and pretty fresh. The ramen was good. The broth wasn't as flavorful as other Ramen that I've had in the past, but I think that the meat made up for because of meat was super tender and flavorful. But that is important to me because the brothers would really gives everything as flavor and makes it pop. Had good and thick noodles to it. Definitely had a really big bowl so you may have leftovers. Would I try it again, I think that i would.

If you're looking for a casual and quick Asian-fusion bowl, Tin Drum's got you covered. Fresh food, clean establishment, and nice service -- what more could you ask for? However, if you visit during lunch during the week (12/1PM), be prepared to wait in line for a bit as the restaurant does get pretty packed with people on their lunch breaks.

Y'all, I tried Tin Drum a few times and each time was a disappointment. Unfortunately, I've found that the entrees were bland or just not edible. I was passing it recently and got pulled in when I saw an ad for their boba - they looked amazing! I placed an order for two and patiently awaited, God knows, for how long. I saw that the person assigned to make beverages was busy on her phone, so I approached her to get an estimated time as to when my drinks would be ready. Turned out, she made them and left them on the side. The beverages were more of an ice slushy than a bubble tea. In fact, they weren't even a slushy because they had chunks of flavored ice that my teeth was too sensitive to bite into. My partner nor I were able to consume the drinks, and we promised ourselves that we'll never return again.

So good! If you like spicy order 2 scoops of the Thai chili.

I had an amazing time at Tindrum at the Doctors Without Borders percentage night. The vibes were cool and the food was delicious.

The cuddle fish was well fried and very crispy, the sauce that came with it tied everything together. Little sweet, little spicy, little hot of twang. Was amazing. Mapo tofu was extremely good, was exactly what I wanted after a long day. Smooth tofu, lots of spicy and tingly goodness, and the rice with it was perfect. Service was good, was really quick for pick up. And the place is super clean and really well spaced out inside. I would dine in here if I could have. Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

The pace is fast in the restaurant and the service is attentive and once you order your food comes out quickly to the table. Every dish we ordered was delicious. It is one of those establishments that you want to hurry and eat as there are people waiting to be seated and you don't want to linger too long because that would not be fair to them. You have plenty of time and noone is rushing you you just know to be a decent human being you should eat and then leave promptly and not linger over empty dishes. Their portions are hearty though so you will most likely have take out to enjoy as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and if I lived closer I would frequent it often. I wish I could be more detailed about the dishes we ordered but I just don't remember but I still wanted to give them a good review. Just remember to be polite and not tarry like you would not tarry at a Waffle House when it is full because this restaurant is going to always be full I suspect!

Drinks: I got the strawberry lemon drop drink. It was good and did come with the vodka flavor with natural strawberry syrup. It was good. The vegetable dumpling was good! On to the main entree was the House Lo Mein. It was just average and not the greatest I've tried. It took a minute before our server came back. To me it needed more flavor, seasoning and it didn't have any spice what's so ever! I wouldn't get it again. The thing I found annoying/unprofessional was the staff taking forever to give me and my friend out checks. We came into the establishment an hour before they closed. At that time a lot of people were still in the place. However, by the time we received our checks we were the last people in their establishment. The other individuals were the workers cleaning up.
