Faced with the dilemma of options, I feel that you can never go wrong with the Thai food. My friends and I were there on a league Friday afternoon. So our orders took about 25 to 30 minutes to come out. I got their Pad SEE EW while my friend got their TTK KEE MAO. Both noodle dishes were tasty and unique in their own way. Overall, I would say the kee mao has more soy sauce making it a little bit heavier than the other. Would like to come back and try more of their dishes. read more

Tyde Tate Kitchen has been a favorite for a long time -- I just can't quit their Thai fried rice! I usually order it with shrimp but switched it up for chicken this time and it was still so good. As always, the folks behind the counter are very sweet and accommodating. I love their decor and how they have their menu options displayed. The portions are generous -- perfect for having leftovers later (which I love). I also got the shrimp rolls, which were crispy and delicious as always. Everything I've had here has been consistently flavorful and fresh, so one of these days I'll branch out from my go-to and explore more of the menu! read more

Favorite and reliable spot located inside of Chattahoochee food works. Typically I'll walk around a visit the other spots but always end up coming back here (I love asian food). Tyde Tate Kitchen - CFW - Shrimp FRIED RICE - Thai Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

I've been to Tyde Tate plenty of times across their different locations, but this Chattahoochee Food Works spot was the first one I ever tried years ago, and it's where I was first introduced to Thai basil fried rice. Ever since then, it's set the standard for what I expect from the dish. The food is always served hot and fresh. You can choose between medium or hot for the spice level. I'm definitely a wimp when it comes to spice, so I stick with medium. It still has a solid kick but never sacrifices flavor. This visit, I ordered my usual Thai basil fried rice with the fried egg on top--just a little runny, which I love--and an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls come four to an order, are a great size, and honestly, I could not finish them all in one sitting. Tyde Tate is my top spot whenever I want Thai basil fried rice done right. The flavor, the consistency, and the quick service never disappoint. read more

This is my go-to spot for Thai food at CFW. I've dined here at least five times and have never been disappointed. Their menu is simple, but every dish I've tried has been delicious. My personal favorite is the basil fried rice with shrimp (shrimp is a $2 upgrade). Ordering online is easy and convenient. The service is always friendly and efficient. They also have a brick-and-mortar restaurant downtown, which is another great option. Highly recommend! read more

I'd been craving Thai food for a while, so I was glad to finally be able to visit Tyde Tate. This location is inside of the Chattahoochee Food Works food hall. There was a line when I arrived, but it moved quickly. I ordered the spring rolls and pad Thai with shrimp. My quoted wait time was about 20 minutes. I was given a buzzer and walked around for a bit until my order was ready. My food was absolutely delicious! The pad Thai had a generous amount of plump shrimp and the spring rolls were filling and fried to perfection. My friend said her Thai fried rice was great as well. The customer service was good. I'd definitely recommend them and look forward to returning again. read more

My love for CFW runs deep and Tyde Tate is one of my go to spots for Thai whether it is for a quick snack, or a comfort pick me up! I usually just get the Tom Kha with shrimp and chicken which hits every time but saved an evening to get the Curry beef and it was so good! I carried out. There was great flavor, just enough spice, and served at the right temperature. The portion size was generous as I had enough to share. Great for a cold evening. The service was fast as always and there was no hesitation to provide me with ample silver ware, napkins all in a cute brown paper bag for packaging. I have also had the dumplings, and the shrimp spring rolls which are great. I look forward to my next visit and recommend Tyde Tate to anyone looking for a decent Thai fix. read more

I have visited many Thai restaurants in Atlanta and the surrounding cities outside of Atlanta but you guys have the best Thai cuisine in town. I had your Pad See Ew and Fried Rice all with tofu and the flavors just explode in my mouth and rushes my dopamine. It's so good. I don't know what you put in your food but keep it up, please. I wish you guys would have a location at Toco Hills, being that's where I live, and it would make a killing. Employees are so nice and patient. Love it! read more

The food here? Always good. No complaints. The service though? Whew. That has been the problem forever, and today they proved they have not changed one bit. I stopped coming here a year ago because I refused to keep spending money where the service felt like punishment. But today I was craving Tyde Tate, so I thought, "Why not?" Big mistake. I ordered online, got my pickup time at 5:27 PM, and pulled up early. At 5:22 I walked in and immediately got pushed to the side by an employee who appeared to not even be working. She just wanted a few more minutes to talk to her friends. Cool, whatever. Then a random guest with a busser walked up, and boom, instant service. I thought maybe I was invisible for a second. But nope, I was still there. Just ignored. Meanwhile, I could see my food sitting right there. Just waiting on me. And what does the guy with the ponytail and glasses do? Helps three other people like I do not exist, then stands around chatting for ten more minutes with another girl, working? Honestly, I do not even know what her role was. She did not take an order, did not move a bag, did not blink in my direction. If her job was "look busy," she failed that too. And this is the crew we are supposed to tip before we even get the food? Please. I was standing there in bright green like a human highlighter, refusing to budge, and they still acted like I was invisible. Ridiculous. Totally unnecessary. Especially when my food was sitting there the whole time. I had to literally yell "HELLO, can I get some assistance?". Only then did someone decide to hand me my food with an attitude telling me I needed to sign a receipt. So let me tally up the employees who did not help me. First, the white male with the loose ponytail and glasses who technically was working, just not in my favor. Second, the employee who walked in with her purse on, chatted with another girl for five minutes, and then walked right back out like it was a social call. And third, the racially ambiguous girl employee who contributed absolutely nothing but conversation with her coworkers. If this is the payroll, I know it has to be comedy. Oh, and the fried rice? Had this weird burnt taste. Nothing looked burnt, so I guess the pan was holding grudges from a past life. So yes, the food was nasty, the service is still a circus. Nothing to look forward to. read more

W O W! This place is amazing. I was looking for something for dinner on Uber Eats and Tyde Tate popped up. Came to Yelp to hear people's thoughts, since I've never heard of it, and everyone had great things to say. The first pic that I saw was the basil ground chicken, so that's what I got. My food arrived piping hot in a beautiful recyclable container. Even the paper bag that it came in was well made. I opened the container and WOW. Amazing portions and I had the most beautifully fried egg on top--it was perfect. The meal definitely had some spice to it, but I love spicy food, so I embraced it. I definitely could've saved some, but I ate it all and I don't regret it lol! This place gets a full five stars, easily. Please check it out--it's also a family owned business! read more

TydeTate Kitchen is the Thai food counter inside Chattahoochee Food Works. It was named "TydeTate" after Tyde and Tate, the sons of one of the owners. I tried three dishes here. I thought the Basil Chicken ($15) and Penang Curry Beef ($14) were good while the Chicken Pad Thai ($14) was just OK. What I should've tried were the Curry Puffs (4 for $8), which this place is known for, but I didn't realize that until later. I'll have to try them if I come back. Overall, my Thai cousins and I liked TydeTate (or at least, they thought it was decent). I think it's worth checking out. During our Wednesday night visit to Chattahoochee Food Works, TydeTate appeared to be one of the most popular counters. I think part of it has to do with their location. They're right next to the Food Works' covered patio entrance and bar. Also, I think TydeTate has received some favorable press and social media marketing/exposure. I'd seen the name and recognized it while we were browsing the Food Works' eateries. The first Yelp review for TydeTate was posted in August 2019. TydeTate started out doing Thai catering and later, pop-ups. TydeTate then became one of the debut food stalls to launch concurrently with Chattahoochee Food Works when the food hall opened back in April 2021. Chattahoochee Food Works has free street, surface lot, and deck parking (at least, at the time of writing this review). We parked on the 3rd floor of the deck and walked over. I originally wanted to eat at the new Fox Bros Bar-B-Q location here, but it was closed for a private event, so that's how we ended up at the food hall. Fox Bros is one of a handful of full-service sit-down restaurants at The Works, but I digress. Along with the aforementioned dishes, during our visit, TydeTate offered Shrimp and Spring Rolls (4-5 pieces for $8-9), Sweet Chili Crispy Tofu ($8), Beef Salad ($13), Thai Fried Rice ($14-15), TTK (TydeTate Kitchen) Spaghetti (drunken noodles, $14-15), and Thai Tea ($5). Some of the prices can vary depending on which protein you choose: chicken, shrimp, tofu, and veggie. The Basil Chicken and Penang Curry Beef were delicious. I recommend both. My Thai cousin's wife liked the Basil Chicken. It has to be legit if a Thai person from Thailand likes the food here, right? I'm kind of kidding, but seriously, it was really good -- flavorful, tender ground chicken, scallions, peppers, fresh cucumber, and a yummy fried egg with white rice. Truly Thai comfort food. My cousin requested a fried egg with his Penang Curry and it was served atop his white rice. The curry was rich and complex. The chunks of beef were hearty and savory. I was underwhelmed with the Chicken Pad Thai. The chunks of chicken were a little dry and the slice of lime was kind of dried out too. Overall, the dish just wasn't executed as well as the others. Based on the Pad Thai I had, I can't recommend it. Service was fine. The man who took our order was nice. The server name that showed up on my Toast receipt was Jekell S, so maybe that was him. We were told there would be an 8-10 minute wait. Everything was packed in takeout containers, which was convenient for me since I took some food home. We did eat at one of the communal tables outside the food hall. This place was busy. I recognized co-owner Sai Untachantr and Joe Bhamaraniyara (father of one of the co-owners) in the kitchen. It's Sai's sons that this business is named after. read more

I tried TydeTate before they moved in Chattahoochee Food Works and loved it! So I was excited to check out the storefront in the snazzy new food hall. Unfortunately, while food quality didn't seem to suffer much, the pricing scared me a little bit. My first order was the crispy tofu, which was super tasty! However, I got maybe 12-14 tofu for $8 (and after tax and tip, came out to $9.71). So I got a $10 snack. The provided Thai chili sauce seemed like a cop out - I think the sauces they had provided us at the catering event I went to were much more authentic. The tofu were hot and fried to crispy perfection but they were also bland. Without the sauce to dip it in, they were lacking in seasoning. I will have to try their entrees next time since they seem to be a better bang for your buck. But I really don't know the next time I'll be at Chattahoochee Food Works in general since it's just so busy and pricy! I hate to complain about Asian food being expensive but it seems to be a problem throughout the food hall, whether the cuisine is Asian or not. read more

Tyde Tate is legit. I've had a couple of things from the menu with my favorite being the basil chicken with rice. It's a little salty but so flavorful. Restaurant is in a Food hall. You order at the counter and wait for your buzzer to go off when your food is ready. The cashiers were all very friendly and I noticed when one stepped away, one of the cooks ran up to the register to assist the next customer. Very good teamwork! I ordered TTK Kee Mao with tofu which is Tyde Tates version of Pad Kee Mao. The food came out in about five minutes so extremely quick. The flavor was amazing! Everything was nicely coated with the sauce and it was packed full of flavor. The only thing that would warrant this a five star review is if the bowl was filled a bit more. It seemed like it was an inch of space from the top/corners. I guess I'm just used to Asian restaurants smooshing everything under that plastic lid. Also, it would be great if they added more veggies to the Pad Kee Mao. As flavorful as it was, it was only onions, red bell peppers and basil. If I had gotten it with vegetables (as my protein option) instead of tofu, I was told that it would have come with broccoli, carrots and baby corn. It would be great if one of those items were a mainstay in the regular dish. Lastly, the noodles were a bit firmer than I'd prefer and would like them cooked a tinge longer to be less tough. I feel like that's an easy fix. Although I pointed out things that would make the dish better FOR ME, this is not a complaint as the food was still yummy! I'll definitely be back to try other things. read more

This is probably the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants compared to all the other places in Chattahoochee Food Works. It's reasonably priced compared to other places, taste good, and never disappoints. On the weekends (F-Sun) they sell pork dumplings (jeeb) and the weekdays (M-Th) they sell curry puffs. One thing I know is that the curry puffs is what started out this company. It's delicate wrapping over a savory filling of chicken, sweet potatoes, onion and curry powder is a great choice for appetizers and for sharing. Or if you're selfish like I am, I would eat them all in one sitting and not give any to your significant other lol. The Pad Thai is a classic dish and you can never go wrong with it. One tip I know is to eat it fresh. I mean like right off the wok and into your dish-- fresh. Taking it home to go is not a good idea because the noodles tend to get harden and absorb the sauce. So eat up ladies and gents! The basil chicken... oh my goooodness. I feel like this is comfort food. Minced chicken over a bed of rice and a fried egg. Seems like something my mom made me as a kid. For spice levels, you can ask for Thai Spicy, if you're bold enough to handle that challenge. But for me, a mild spice is all I can handle. Finish it off with Thai Tea. It's my absolute favorite drink since I was a kid. This never lets me down, unlike my ex's. Although there is no seating for the restaurant since it is a food hall, there is public seating around especially in the patio area, but it tends to get hot especially in the Summer heat. read more

Located at The Works, this was a cute place to catch up with friends with a lot of seating a choices of food all around. Love the thai tea here, I especially appreciated it along with the "thai hot" spice level pad thai. This is a generous 4*. Food is 3.5* raised for being new and for good customer service. TTK is located in the latest food hall, The Chattahoochee Food Works. This review is based on my visit in August, 21. Hoping for a decent Thai so I wouldn't have to trek to Norcross, I was excited to try TTK. + Ambiance is new food hall... cool industrial vibe. This is an order and pick-up / Togo type of a place. There are shared seating inside the food hall, outside and some inside The Works. New and friendly vibe. = Food is limited Thai comfort eats... 4 appetizers / tapas, 4 mains and a special of the day. They also have several kinds of water and Thai Tea. I tried their Panang beef and curry puffs. Both dishes were very mild. Less seasoning than I like and I'm not a spicy eater. Panang beef was little oily and a bit watery. The curry came with plain rice. I hadn't seen curry puffs before and thought they looked darling. For me, they tasted like lighter, starchier samosas. = Price is on the higher side for what I got. Panang beef ($14) and curry puffs ($8). It's not high but the value wasn't there. ++ Service was very friendly and prompt! + Parking is shared lot and free MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe read more

Always eat at this place when I come to Chattahoochee Food Works. Pad Thai with tofu, extra lime wedges and cilantro, and their Thai tea are my usual go-to's. This time I ordered shrimp instead of tofu. The pad Thai is not too sweet which is how I prefer it and the noodles are never soggy. The Thai tea is top notch, everything is well balanced. The milk doesn't overpower the flavor of the tea and there isn't too much ice which would water it down. The shrimp was a decent size and not over cooked.
