Absolutely the best burger I've ever had. Friendly staff, decent service, fairly reasonable pricing. The buffalo chicken sandwich is pretty great as well. Looks like an ostrich breast on a bun! The food 7 out of 10. Our server a 100 ask for Rachel she is amazing. But if you go there with your teen age sons, make sure David the manager isn't working that night. One of the young men in our party (of 7)went to the restroom. When he flushed the urinal it started to flood the floor. He informed workers. After dinner the young man went to the restroom again. Joined by two other young men. I assumed someone had handled the problem. Being a restaurant and all you wouldn't want that problem to get any worse. After a short time. The young men returned to our table and I was paying the bill for a party of 7!! Appetizers 7 entrées, and drinks (sodas & ice tea)for everyone at the table. David decides to come over and accuse the young men in my party of breaking a toilet causing the bathroom to flood. He claims to have followed them into the bathroom and to have witnessed them on video. Which tells me that Times bar and Grill has cameras in their bathroom according to the manager David. Now if the young men in my party had been 8,9,10 years of age and had spent any lengthy amount of time in the restroom I would've taken pause. These are three high school aged young men. They were in the restroom for less than three minutes. Accusing them of breaking a toilet when they used urinals. I'm not sure what I find most disturbing? That David the manager said he followed those three young men into the bathroom and watched them or that David the manager said he viewed them on camera. Which also begs the question do they have cameras set up like that in the ladies restroom also, David? Sorry Rachel you were wonderful but, I will never be back again. read more

Being a military family, we're a bit biased against civilian establishment for the often questionable quality of their products, the boorishly unanimated demeanor of their servers and the unimaginative presentations, plating and ambience. This place (Times Grill in Slidell, LA) is an exceptional divergence from the rule. The place is comfortable, the food is excellent and the service was impeccable. Our server, Kori, was prompt, attentive and exuded that quality that my wife likes to call "lilt" -- that tone you project when you're talking to your Grandmother. My 12 oz burger should have been cooked medium rare and it came to me not only bloody but mostly raw. The manager insisted it was cooked correctly because they use fresh beef. I sent it back requesting medium cook. It returned not cooked much more than the first one still bloody soaking the bun. The manager insisted it was cooked correctly that it wasn't blood it was juice. Juice is clear not red and it is BS that they would not own up to their incorrect temperature. So I was forced to eat a well done burger just to get it cooked. The onion ring batter fell off the onion and the crawfish cheese soup would be better labeled a dip not soup. read more

The worst. Imagine fried catfish platter with no sauce. No tarter sauce, nothing. Imagine fries with no ketchup. But the fried dill pickle appetizers came with runny ranch sauce like water. The burger was ok and nice sized. Wheat bun was stale, it probably was sitting in the kitchen for a couple of days. What gets us is the kid's meal or the lack of it, kid's boxed juice was add'l $1.50 so we had to pay $7+ for a four year old's meal. Potato fries were good, salad greens very cheap blah. The reviews for this restaurant must be for another Times restaurant. We'd heard about the great burgers & really wanted to try one. Boy were we disappointed! We went here on a recommendation from some locals. Ordered fried pickles for apps.... Super greasy and salty, but I guess that's fried pickles for you. Nothing on the entree menu grabbed my eye, so I went with the plain old burger. When asked how I liked it cooked, I replied "medium". It came out vaporized, beyond well. I never complain, but they missed so badly, I had to. Why even ask? Other dishes were very mediocre. Never again. read more

I chose this place over Sonic for a chocolate shake because they also have fried mushrooms which are getting harder to find nowadays. Although the wait staff was prompt in greeting and taking my order, it took FOR-Ever to get an order of shrooms and a shake. Their one size shake is way overpriced and run of the mill. This makes two times in a row that I was disappointed with the food. Atmosphere is nice, service was quick and friendly, but the food was a let down. I enjoyed the onion rings but the burger was average at best. It just lacked flavor. Coleslaw was some of the worst I've ever had. It had a weird color and even a weirder taste. Used to be a great hamburger restaurant. Unfortunately the last two visits had the same results...... Ordered medium cooked but they came out raw and cold to the touch. Servers are pretty good but the food has gotten inedible. This review is why this will be my last visit to Times Grill. read more

If your from the New Orleans area then you would know that roast beef po boys are not made with your moms Sunday roast beef, "horrible" it's sliced roast beef in gravy slow cooked for hours and when you get a roast beef po boy it has mayo on it with shredded iceberg lettuce not one giant piece of romaine lettuce. If your a tourist please do not eat here, this place has no clue what real nawlins food taste like at all , the catfish plate was 3 small pieces of catfish and some frozen sweet potato fries again "horrible" the price was outrages for the food we received. Next time we will drive to Chalmette and go to Rocky and Carlos or to tags sandwich shop where the food always taste like your in the nawlins area. It received one star because at least the server was nice, to bad for her she has to work at that joke of restraunt. read more

Our party included three children under the age of two, and they had no problem accommodating us. The veggie portobello burger was awesome with cheese, dark greens, tomato, carrots, and pickles on a wheat bun. My husband and his friend really enjoyed their burgers. Personally, I don't like TVs blaring during dinner, but I understand it's part of the venue. My only complaint is that the kids' menu was the usual non-food garbage that every restaurant seems to think children should eat, so I ordered the side of broccoli for my two-year-old, and it was overcooked. Overall, I really enjoyed our experience at the Times Grill. I'd recommend it to others and encourage the owners to add a couple more vegetarian dishes to their menu, as I'd love to come back and try something new! read more

Times Grill catered our large (80 people) wedding rehearsal party in Slidell, LA. Our son, Jesse and his high school sweetheart, Seana were married there in October 2015. Starting with Phyllis in the office, who helped me form the perfect menu. This was not easy, as we live in Pennsylvania and had to plan everything over the phone and internet. She was very helpful and just wonderful to deal with. Then there's Chuck. He arrived at the rental house, where the party was, and was just so re-assuring that all would go well. And it did! The hot food was hot. The cold food was cold. And all very fresh tasting and delicious. Chuck was assisted by his boss and the owner, Shearn (pronounced burn), who together were very gracious serving everyone. Having Shearn show up in chef's gear was unexpected, but also very re-assuring to us. All our guests were very pleased with the food and the service. We will make it a point to try to visit their restaurant, next time we're down in the New Orleans area. read more
