Look I tried to give the place multiple chances and each time it disappoints. I will stick to the other spots around here for burgers. The beer is overpriced and the mixed drinks were all mix with no alcohol. For the amount I paid on my visits I could of gotten more at a chain burger spot. Sorry Times read more

I wish I had a photo to share of my delicious BBQ Wings and perfect JR Times Burger, but I engulfed them so quickly, there was no time for photos! Such a fun, friendly atmosphere with great service and food! Take a step back in time and enjoy a perfectly cooked burger (Medium Rare) with family and friends! Hope to be back soon read more

This is a fun place to go since it's right in the railroad station and you can feel the rush of the trains pass by the building. There are flat-screen TVs all around so if you're wanting to a catch a game, they've probably got it on. Depending on the night a magician goes around making balloon animals for all the kids. It's definitely a family friendly restaurant. The food is pretty decent. They're known for their burgers which are generous in size. Service is always prompt. :) read more

I unfortunately happened upon the Times Grill on "kid's night" and was unwittingly seated right next to the stage before the festivities started. I wish I'd known that beforehand because I ended up suffering through one-too-many kid's renditions of Elvis and Miley Cyrus karaoke. If you're into family friendly places, this is definitely your spot. I prefer to enjoy a steak sans the Mickey Mouse Club theatrics. In the most bizarre twist of events, one of the performing kid's mothers came up to our table and asked if she could use one of our chairs. The chair wasn't being used so we shrugged and said, "Sure, why not?" Instead of taking the chair from the table and dragging it up to the stage so she could watch her kid perform, she proceeded to SIT AT OUR TABLE WITH US and record her kid with her iPhone. I looked at my date in complete shock--what a total looney tune. Onto the food: my date's blackened Redfish was really, really good. I definitely recommend it. My steak was just so-so for the price tag it carried. The dessert wasn't memorable or worth ordering in retrospect. 5/10 Times Grill feels like a chain, is slightly overpriced, and caters to a crowd I didn't enjoy dining with. I probably won't be back--at least not on kid's night. read more

Great burgers and other sandwiches. Even like the salad options. Eaten here over the years and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food and flavor. Huge variety for everyone. read more

I went a number of years without going here after some terrible service but started going back seven years ago or so and have never had a problem. Burgers are good and cooked to order my husband always gets them medium-rare but I prefer medium or even well done sometimes. You can even get a 6oz burger instead of 8oz or 12oz. Thank god for that because I just can't eat that much after their awesome appetizers. They have fried mushrooms and they're always blistering hot when delivered to the table. I can't sing the praises of those juicy little things enough. I love them. They also have these BBQ pork nachos that may have knocked the mushrooms down to number two as a favorite. I didn't expect them to be so good! read more

The best burger place I've found in Slidell! So many good options to choose from. I love the rockin USA burger and the Southern Pried burger. Also check out the moonshine margarita! It is inexpensive a really good! They do live music every once in a while. One-man-band kind of thing from what I've seen, it stays quiet enough for you to still talk woth the people at your table. Also the warrior sauce is amazing! read more

We always went to the one in BR before it closed. We stopped in today even though it was two miles off the interstate. WE WERE SO IMPRESSED! From the moment we walked in, the host, a young man, sat us, asked how our day was, and pulled out our seat. The kid was young with impeccable worth ethic! Our server, can't remember her name but her tag said from Alberta Canada, did not miss a beat! Lastly, the manager, Christopher, stopped by to check on us. I worked service industry for many years, these people went the extra mile! I want to open a restaurant one day and could only dream of running a place as smoothly as they do! Oh yea, the food is GREAT! Perfectly cooked burgers, and excellent cheese fries! We will be back! :) read more

I love this place...after a 12-hour Amtrak ride, it's so nice to have someplace so reliably good waiting for me at the end of my journey! The staff here is amazing...they are always helpful and always cheerful. I spent ten days taking pictures of origami cranes at various locations (long story...bottom line, it was the "cranes on vacation" meant to cheer up a little girl with cancer. The manager asked what we were doing and I explained and he couldn't have been more supportive or helpful. I had a cheeseburger, potato salad, and doo-dads (fried onion threads), along with a bloody Mary. The cheeseburger was perfectly cooked, huge, juicy, and delicious. The doo-dads were thin, crispy threads of onion that were a perfect accompaniment. My co-foodies also got the burgers and were also very pleased with them and the doo-dads. The only thing none of us cared for was the potato salad. It was a gray-ish color with a slightly odd flavor (cajun? we couldn't really pinpoint it). Anyway, none of us ate the potato salad...but it may just not have been a flavor we were appreciative of...we were expecting just a southern, mayo-based salad. The bloody Mary? Perfect!! Just enough heat, just enough vodka, a good tomato juice base and the extra olives I asked for! Delicious! read more

We called in an order to go and it was made fast and good. One of the best cheese burgers I've ate in a long time. My wife had the chicken tender plate and it was also delicious. read more

My group of friends and I go here nearly every Sunday when I have them over. The burgers are absolutely delicious and there's a good variety of them. Wait staff is on the ball and they don't mind splitting checks. A+ on good food and a nostalgic locale. read more

Really enjoyed the Times today. I stopped in just to have a couple drinks and check the place out since I had not been to this location before. I ended up staying a few hours. I sat at the bar and didn't have anything to eat but the bartender, Lindsay, was so nice and friendly that it was hard to leave. Plus she makes a mean mudslide! I'll be back. read more

There hamburgers are the best looking forward to going back soon we are moving to Slidell soon.

Great restraunt for burgers if you like "man food" as you can have them just about any way you like them, and they are all huge and excellent. They also have a veggie portabella burger that is really good along with sweet potato fries. If you want pretty food with fancy names this place not for you. Interesting decor inside old train station with active railroad only 50 ft. behind building so at times you may notice when trains arrive/depart. Located across track from Heritage Park so its a great place eat and enjoy the park and bayou. read more

My family and I ate dinner there Friday night. The service was first rate. The food was great and the prices were fair.

I think about their burgers often, always makings mouth of water. An investment in location, most likely part of tiny suburban mafia. I dream about eating here again most soon. read more

Ok i know it must seem like i give everything a 5 star rating but its more like I've been on the lucky side of my food and service. Thus was yet another tasty burger. Sorry i didn't take any photos but i was starved and on a short time frame. Times grill junior burger with cheese and fries with a sweet tea. I was in and out in under 40 minutes which was great. Don't pass it up if in the neighborhood. It is easy to miss on this stretch of the road so just look for the old train depot, its inside. read more

Corn and crab soup was amazing. The gumbo was horrible. The service was a little slow but it was busy for lunch.

Great burgers, fresh fries, and decent service. Times is a hidden gem in Slidell. I burned my tongue on the burger because there was no wait time between it being grilled and placed on the table. They use a good quality lean ground beef. Minus one star because the staff was a little on the stand offish side. read more

Quite possibly the BEST burgers in the area (accompanying fries are yummy, too.) Pleasant, fast and efficient service. My husband loves the pickle chips. Divey, sure, but you're there for your stomach, not your eyes. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water for one of their burgers right now, actually... read more

i just purchased my 1st home in slidell.i drove pass there one afternoon, i was saying we've found a good burger place that's not far from home. oh,but to my surprise, i decided to stop by,i ordered 2 burger combos.first of all i ordered well done burgers, which took 30 minutes or more.they were horrible, idk if the meat was old or not.they had odor they hard & dry. i was so disappointed, cause i just moved to slidell & was tryna find good places to eat with my family. one thing i don't play is about my food. maybe it was a racial thing. but i get the picture. i've had better burgers from mcdonald's. those burgers were undescribably ridiculous!!! never again read more

Don't leave this place without having the onion rings!! Big battered behemoths of onion rings-get the remoulade with them. Very very good. The mushroom swiss burger was well done but still juicy. Excellent burger joint-will return for more when I return. read more

My first taste of crayfish, I mean crawfish. Very tasty and very generous ratio of fish to pasta. The atmosphere was great, too, as a train rumbled by at the end of our meal. read more

The food wasn't as good as its cracked up to be. I def. expected more from this place. The staff was nice. The prices were alright. But the food wasn't worth going back again. The parking lot here is a long one, it's inconvenient if there are a lot of people considering its quite a walk from the actual building itself. read more

We stopped at this place while passing through Louisiana, and are happy we did. We had a craving for hamburgers, got off I-12 at Slidell, and ran into this restaurant. The staff were most welcoming and helpful. The hamburgers were delicious, as well as the French fries. We wanted to try out one of those Muffelatta(?) sandwiches we heard about, but were too stuffed after eating our burgers. We'll get around to it the next time coming through Louisiana, and will definitely stop in at Times Grill. read more

Second Dinner here at Time Grill and just as good as the first. Great burgers. Best I've had in a long while.

Great food great atmosphere...located in Slidell's old train station. Not a whole lot of inside tables but there are tables located outside and if you're lucky like us you get to experience a train zooming right past the station. Great place to just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely will be back! read more

Leaving NOLA and stopped in Slidell for something to eat. Found a place on Yelp and on the way there we saw a sign that said World Famous Hamburgers and decided to detour and try them out. Nice place and clean and the staff was very friendly. Beer was cold and it is a unique setting beside the tracks. That's about all I can say about our visit. We all ordered 4 different burgers and they were all very dry. The onion rings were over done as well. There is really nothing special about this place and I kind of wish we had stuck to our original yelp destination. read more

I just had a burger here, but it has a good vibe in the place. I'd like to go back when they have live music. There was a small stage that I assume is what it's for. I will definitely return next time I am in Slidell. read more

Have been many times of the years and have never been wow'd by them. It's never been bad, but it's never been good either. Tonight I went for dinner and was seated at a table with my daughter. We sat for a good 10 minutes with three other tables being sat and assisted and no one ever came to take a drink order or anything. Tried to get the attention of someone but was basically ignored. When my daughter and I got up and walked out, we were told "have a nice night" by the greeter. We told her we were never served and she stared at us like we were aliens. read more

These burgers are SO good. I had the Buffaloaded with sweet potato fries (yum!) and had a margarita on the rocks for my drink. Definitely delicious. It's sometimes difficult to find margaritas that aren't weak and watered down - the one here was great! The staff is friendly. And the trains come by - how cool! We'll definitely be coming back! read more
