Our very first Whiskey Kitchen adventure started with home delivery of grilled shrimp & vegetables. Highly recommend their Gulf shrimp! Oh so good!! Today, we happened in on Two Fer Tuesday - 2 for 1 margaritas, 2 for one draft beer & 2 for $20 classic burgers. Two for 1 margaritas for me! We decided to eat in today and started with their seared Ahi Tuna on a wonton with Pico and a sauce. Wow - delicious. For lunch I had the Birria style tacos. Filling a great flavors! My friend ordered the Swiss burger, it came with mushrooms and a steak sauce of some kind with couce of french fries or tator tots. Both our meals were delicious, cooked just right and filled us up. We decided to get a slice of Boston Cream Pie to go so we can give it a try when our stomachs aren't so full. We'll definitely be back. read more

First time trying this place. The service was great. The Santa Fe egg rolls were good. They came out cold at first but replaced them with no problems. Burger was good. Shrimp fajitas ok. Very disappointed that they charge for ice tea refills. read more

Another guest and I dined here on a Friday evening. My drink was delicious and the bartender was really nice! We started with the Crawfish Balls which were decent. I had the Ribeye Steak Tacos. They were good but I wish they'd let you substitute the sides. I didn't like the corn because it had a strong southwestern taste. The other guest had the Hawaiian Ribeye and enjoyed it. I saw a burger being delivered to another table and it looked amazing! We had an enjoyable experience overall but I do think the food is priced too high for what you get. read more

Super cute place! We ordered several appetizers, loved all of them. The appetizers and drinks were awesome! I ordered the teriyaki chicken and the chicken had that frozen rubber texture and just wasn't that great. Entrees definitely need work. I choose this restaurant because it was off the interstate in Slidell. I wanted to love it. The place is cute sorta upscale. We went just as the opened at 11:00. There were three of use meeting for lunch. The staff very good. Very attentive. Started with guacamole. The chips and dip were good. So hopes were high. My husband had a pretty good burger. The side of tater tots were just kissed in the fryer and were undercooked. I ordered their Memphis hot chicken sandwhich it was not very good in my opinion. The chicken was split so you don't get the big bite. The chicken tasted of vinegar. This was the main flavor. It is hot. I found I removed the bottom bun that was saturated with sauce. The fries were underwhelming. The chicken tender were ok. I think this place has potential but details need to be address. Both bathrooms smelled and not really clean with the place just opening door for the day. Be aware of the water. It is eggy. See if they have bottled. I don't think I would go back. Especially since Chimes is down the road. I wish them luck. read more

Great ambiance. Good food. Horrible service. We visited here based on a high recommendation from a close friend. The food was good. -Southwest egg rolls: 8/10 a couple looked smashed so visual presentation was the only issue. -kids corn dogs bites: 9/10 (my daughters rating. She said she needed ketchup.) -Birria tacos: 7/10 They were good but not the best I've had. The corn was old and over cooked. -Honky Tonk Nachos. 6/10 They didn't have enough meat or cheese on them but tasted great. -Diamond Ranch burger. 9/10 Great burger but the portion of fries was a little small for the price. The negative. Once we were seated it took almost 12 mins for our server to greet us and take our drink order. We were literally scooting out of the booth to leave when she walked up for the first time. They were not busy. Only 5 other tables were seated and 3 women at the bar. No one even knew who was supposed to be our server so for that I blame the hostess. My major problem was the lack of service and the I don't care attitude the server had. 2 other people had to help us because she just disappeared for around 20 minutes. When she was there she was talking to who I assume was a friend of hers who came in to eat and use her laptop. I had to flag her down to get a refill of our drinks. The bartender came over and asked if we needed anything and I asked for my server and my check. Some other server came over and then Houdini finally showed up with our bill. I handed her my card and naturally she went to speak to her friend on the laptop again before ringing us up. I was respectful and tried to be polite the entire time. Thinking maybe she is just having a bad day. I usually tip generously as I have worked in the food industry in the past but after that service I gave her nothing. read more

The food was subpar EXTREMELY small portions for the price, the waitress Kelsey was very inattentive, she did not check on us our bill was $114 and the best part of that were the drinks. Went to whisky kitchen on a Saturday afternoon. Not many patrons yet service was still slow. It didn't seem like there were too many waitresses and only one bartender so that can be expected. The building used to be Habanero's but is now WK you can tell that some of the design is still the same as habaneros just "westernized". The server we had was really friendly and gave some good recommendations but they were out of a few things we had wanted even with it being slow. We ordered a mixture of margaritas and mimosas for drinks (be aware mimosas are $20 each. We were not informed) an order of crawfish balls (really good appetizer) for an app and for entrees we ordered a mushroom Swiss burger a Nashville hot chicken sandwich (both with fries) and a chicken fajita platter. The fries were horrible and somehow tasted soggy. The burger was good well cooked and seasoned. The Nashville hot chicken tasted more like a buffalo chicken sandwich so it was decent and the fajita was good but had more onions than chicken. Overall the experience was okay. read more

Went to try this restaurant and was definitely disappointed. I ordered a cheeseburger plain. It came out dressed. I told the server my food was wrong and please make a well done cheeseburger. Burger #2 comes out is was pink in the middle. By this time I just requested it to go. The server says if it's raw in the middle when you get home you can just microwave it. I said I'm in disbelief that you just said this. He was serious. The burger comes out I cut it in half it's not cooked as requested. Half pink. I immediately asked for a refund. I do NOT recommend this restaurant. Who wants to eat a raw burger and be told to throw it in the microwave because THEY cook them MEDIUM. I ordered a well done burger. My friend had Briarra tacos. Also a disappointment. I do not RECOMMEND anyone wasting their money here. read more

Tried out the place about 2 months after it opened. Good atmosphere, great service and pretty fast. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The spinach dip was okay. It had a slightly strong citrus taste but the chips had a great seasoning. The burgers were delicious! We also liked the tots. I would recommend coming back here. Saw this place had opened on Facebook and was so excited to try. The ambiance and decor were very nice. However, it was a major let down. Pretty sure the burger patty is one you buy frozen at Sam's and tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. It was missing toppings posted on the menu. Onion rings tasted frozen as well. Nashville hot chicken was seriously lacking flavor. The bar was not fully stocked so could not get drinks that were on the menu and settled for something else. Service was severely lacking with the owner or manager going around filling waters as the waitress was no where to be seen. Icing on the cake was the surprise charge for dipping sauce ($1.25!) for the fries. I guess it was a good thing I never got my extra sauce I ordered for the onion rings. Don't plan to return. Maybe wait until they have been open longer to try it out. read more

The ambiance was good. Our service; well was offered nacho cheese that was still on the delivery truck, everyone got their meal, ate, and still had the nacho meal not served. We asked to have it packed to go, got it, then kitchen manager came out with a second plated order of nachoes, found out we had the to-go order and walked away with the plate. Our person didn't get his meal in a timely manner, sat while we all ate, wasn't comp'ed for his meal, and wasn't offered the duplicate order. The waitress also cleared out table as though we were already gone While we sat waiting for the to go nachoes. This place is awesome!!! The food was great!!! I got the Hawaiian Rib Eye and it was the best thing i've ever eaten at a restaurant. Don't even get me started on the service. These are some of the most friendly and welcoming waitresses i've ever met. When I went I had Maliyah and she was amazing!!!! Very friendly and knew the WHOLE menu I highly recommend requesting for her. A friend of mine had her as a server and they were a party of 11 and Maliyah had her stuff together. Wish this place was still a Habs. The food is way overpriced for the quality as well as the portion. $17-$20 for a mediocre burger. Birria tacos were good but for the price you get 3 small tacos and side portioned like the free samples as Sam's or Costco. Service was decent.
