Great food, seems like local fav! Can casually dine in & always opt to go! Can get a bit busy but kitchen seems to move fast! Had chicken lo mein, packed with flavor and a bit of crunch with veggies well balanced with soft noodles. Phoulorie warm and soft, love the flavor in their sauce!

Roast duck rice

Food is decent. The duck rice was actually pretty good. The problem I have here is the service. Everyone working here acts like they are mad you are there. Firm believer in not going where I'm not wanted so I won't be back. Disappointing because there are so few decent West Indian restaurants locally. I want

Roasted Duck Fried Rice

After trying a competitor restaurant's food the previous day, I decided to give Timehri a try. I've always loved West Indian style food. Timehri's food doesn't fall short, and has very large portion sizes allowing for meals to be shared with multiple people. I ordered the Roasted Duck Fried Rice which was incredibly rich in flavor. I've attached a picture, which will allow the dish to speak for itself! Customer service was great, and it took about 10 minutes to receive my order of Roasted Duck fried rice. The gentleman who took my order was very patient, kind, and explained to me some of his personal recommendations. The pricing was reasonable, perhaps a bit high compared to Chinese restaurants for some dishes. They have a variety of items, including Jamaican beef patties. I didn't get to try them this time, but they're on my list for a future visit. The quality was definitely there, and I'd recommend Timehri for anyone looking for some great West Indian style dishes in the West Colonial area. Great food!

Curry chicken, rice and peas

I did not enjoy the curry chicken that I had here, there was not very much meat And there was absolutely no curry chicken sauce on the rice I would probably never order this meal again however I have had the fried chicken and rice and that is delicious and incredibly flavorful every single time

Good Guyanese food. I recommend ordering out, the restaurant is small and kind of hot. We eat here often, not my first choice but it's good

Large Lamb Fried Rice

It was great! They gave a large amount of rice for the large lamb fried rice but could have used more meat. We also got the duck curry and flavors were good just wished it had more pieces. Black pudding was typical. We tried them a second time and got their poulorie and lamb lo mein. The large lamb lo mein definitely was a winner. Would go back!

When we arrived the front room was empty with a sign to head to the back to be seated. We were able to grab a table and the server came by pretty quickly. She was super friendly and did let us know right away they were a little short staffed and it could be a little longer than normal service would be expected to be. We were ok with that and appreciate the transparency before we even ordered. I opted for a chicken Caesar salad since I was not too hungry. The salad was the perfect size and the chicken was grilled perfectly. One of the kids had the wings - she said they were cooked perfectly and the other had chicken tenders and fries - she liked them as well. We really didn't feel the wait was that long for food or for service, but you could tell the server and the manager were both hustling. Will be back for another meal. They also have lots of TVs for sporting events and they had a line dancing class going on inside as well. Looks like they do some fun events during the week so check it out!

I was dissatisfied with the customer service and the wings. I asked for them to be crispy and the young lady that was taking my order said she recorded my request but I don't think she did. She kind of rushed me and then the wings came out soft. I could see some of the staff goofing around inside of the kitchen. Doesn't seem like they cared either. They are teens but it's time to grow up and take something seriously for once. Our drinks were good (we ordered Halloween drinks not pictured) and other fried apps were good. I'd go here again but I will definitely skip the wings. We went on a Saturday evening. It wasn't very busy but the customer service could have been better. They had good music playing. I'd say this is a good place to host a bday party.

Although it was maybe 15 people in attendance ,I love supporting local businesses and the owner did a nice job with the place! Food was absolutely incredible. The 3 of us shared multiple appetizers before ordering our entrees and the food was 5 star. A southern soul flare with great seasoning ! Drinks were also very good even though I had a mocktail and they loaded up on some cocktails. We were all impressed. The lounge has spoken word monthly where local artist from central Florida ( even Duval and Tampa ) came to showcase their talents. It's not a Chris brown concert but it was nice to see different poets, singers and musicians share their love of art and music with us. Spoken word starts around 8:30pm and ends around 11:30-12. Entry is free so be courteous and order food and drinks to support the business. I wouldn't mind come back for a date night with my honey or another round of ladies night. Hopefully the lounge will have more patrons than the night we went.

The salmon bites were interesting. They were battered and then deep fried and was served with a side of ranch. I was hoping to try their Mac and cheese but they only serve it on Saturdays. Unfortunately, when I came in it was a Sunday. Their drinks are pretty good as well. I had the gin and tonic. Only one though because it was really strong. Would I come here again? Of course ! I was told about 20 to 30 minute wait. So I went to the patio area and rode the mechanical moo moo twice. After the ride, came back inside. It was loud due to the music, but the dancers entertained us. It took a bit longer than expected, but I was seated about 45 minutes later. I took the house margarita for 10 bucks, and it was served in a plastic cup. I was just expecting a standard, but decent quality margarita since it was cheap. I was way off! After the first sip, I can immediately tell I was going to have a huge fiesta. They must have put a lot of tequila, cause I was feeling tipsy already. After drinking half of it, I was dancing to the music. The full drink left me in party mode throughout the whole time as the restaurant. For my entree, I took the chicken enchiladas got 17 dollars. I choose double rice and cream sauce. There were two nicely sized enchiladas, and the chicken was shredded nicely. It was tender and the enchiladas was pretty soft. The sauce was mild, but still flavorful to enjoy. The rice was filling. I saved one enchilada for home cause I wanted dessert too. So I took the tres leches (9 dollars), which was sweet and moist. It was just the right slice portion for me. It was just an excellent dinner for Cinco de Mayo. Service was pretty busy and got a bit chaotic at times, but they still did a very good job. While it did get slow sometimes, the entertainment fully made up for it. A lot of people were dancing and chanting to the Mexican hat dance and tequila songs. Quite a few, especially the kids, were having fun on the bull. And the professional dancers did a great job interacting with the guests. It was wild, fun, and enjoyable. I must say that while Azteca Del Oro has smaller portions at higher prices than a few years ago, it is still serving filling food at maybe higher quality than before. Maybe it was the alcohol making me happy, or the bull rides that got me disoriented. And I made the mistake of telling the operator that I ride live bulls too, because he did go hard mode on me the last ride, causing me to land awkwardly and hurt my arm. But he helped me back up and this is just all part of the fun. This is my favorite place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Overall: A
