My wife and I visited the Tim Horton's on South State Street, Westerville, OH at 1:10 pm, Wednesday, February 15. We stood patiently at the counter for more than 5 minutes while two workers worked the drive-thru line. Even though both saw us, they did not even acknowledge our presence. When I finally asked for assistance, I was ignored. When I asked for a review/complaint card, I was told to go online and file a review. I then asked for the manager and was told by one of the workers in an angry voice that he was the manager as he walked right by us. We stood there for another couple of minutes being ignored by both workers. I will never go back there again and caution others should they think of doing so. read more

I live right down the street from this location and I like their coffee better than a lot of other places around and it's affordable. They do have good food. Kinda sucks that they only serve anything with hash browns until 11am and I think the menu could change around or at least say that somewhere. Even on the ordering app it doesn't tell you that you can't order it. I like that they now have rewards if you download and scan the app in at checkout before paying. It's not much of a discount and can take some time to really rack anytime up to redeem but it's something back on items I'd normally be buying anyways. read more

I think that I've met more friends and business associates here than almost any other restaurant other than Bob Evans. It's that good. I would have to categorize Tim Hortons as a "fast food" restaurant although their food is not like any other fast food establishment. It's much better. They focus on breakfast and lunch fare that is available all day long. Their claim to fame is their plethora of freshly made donuts, muffins and bagels. I'm a huge bagel fan and when it comes to bagel quality, this "fast food" chain serves it up well every time. Over the years, I've come to enjoy their tasty sandwiches and savory soups as well. I haven't had a bad sandwich or soup yet. Their consistency is second to none. I highly recommend this Tim Hortons to anyone passing through "restaurant row" on South State Street (Rt. 3) just north of 270 in southern Westerville. It's convenient, cozy and coffeelicious. Went an ordered 2 breakfast english muffins. Learned when asking the cashier that the bacon, egg, and cheese english muffins were not part of the 2 for $4 deal. She kindly asked if i'd like to change my order to sausage to get the deal. I started to say yes when (who I can only assume was) the manager came by and yelled "THE SANDWICHES ARE ALREADY MADE". I wasn't about to go through hell over a sandwich, so i just paid and left. But as a customer it feels like I shouldn't be made to feel guilty for wanting to change my order. I have been here a number of times and I believe I am done with Tim Hortons. There have been such long waits in the drive thru that we wind up going down the street to McDonald's. We order iced capps that they say they no longer carry when they are still pictured on the sign and when we do order food, it is ok but the hash brown patty.....ewww. It was mushy, flavorless, limp, and lifeless. Also they have a habit of not giving napkins. My son and I each ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and they were ok but not fantastic. Worst customer care and follow up ever received. personal property damaged (beyond repair) and TH could not even fined the time to get back to me in regards to it until I escalated it. Head quarters could care less - my loss $160 iPOD their offer $40.00 TH card WTF eh! The product lacks the quality, taste and service. Please note... Tim Horton does NOT offer a cup sleeve to protect you from the cup/beverage heat, their lid does NOT allow for any fluid overage and the product is always super HOT. Maybe it's me, but I like to enjoy my coffee in the morning not burn my tung on it. I love Tim Hortons...this place gets me going when I need a large dose of caffeine in the morning. This particular location has an employee that sounds just like a game show host when taking your order (drive thru). It was so funny, yet so shocking when he came on the speaker that I completely forgot what I was ordering. I had to regain my composure and then give my order. hehe! My favorite breakfast food is the bagel BELT (which has bacon, egg, lettuce, and fresh tomato--with cheese) on a bagel! It's scrumptious!! It's my first stop in the morning for my cafe mocha it's usually pretty good but once in awhile I get a bitter coffee but it's one of the more consistent shops for the chain. I really like the pretzel bagel with butter or the BELT on an everything bagel. Just your standard chain coffee shop but it works for me. read more

Yikes Tim Horton! The kids and I were headed to the library and stopped in for a late breakfast. The drive through was super long so we went inside. The poor fellow who waited on us was in training but the extent to which he was struggling surpassed even that explanantion. It took forever and he was just forgetful and scatterbrained and his co - workers were not coming to his aid. On the flip side, the pumpkin white mocha coffee and pastries were tasty. Honestly I will not be back to this tim hortons as long as jeremy works there, I manage a restaurant if he was my employee and treat customers as bad as he does he'd be fired on the spot, I had three hot coffees and was just me in the car first he hands me the coffees with no sleeves and when I kindly asked him if I could have sleeves for them he got an attitude and started huffing and puffing, I'm sorry but you sir are in the wrong business it's call customer service not chit chat time with the other employees and be rude to me when I'm there every morning 7 days a week, and when someome says thank you. I honestly cannot and I repeat cannot understand people's fascination with this place. They must be doing something right, as there's one on every corner it seems. But I've visited this location 2-3 just to be sure and I end up disappointed every time. The coffees are bland at best, the pastries aren't the best and the breakfast sandwiches are a little much to deal with, and that's being nice. The service is fast in the morning. There was a long line at the drive thru so I decided to go inside for my coffee, I figured I would beat the line outside. This Particular Tim Horton's (S. State Street) has seen better days: up until several years ago, I would have given this location a 5-star rating without hesitation, but something has changed at this location...well, and at the one on N. State Street as well (likely management). Quality is spotty: Several peeves over the past year include: - Paying a pricey amount for a large chicken noodle soup that had maybe 3 noodles and almost all broth! - Coffee that is fully an inch or more BELOW the rim, i.e., not a full cup. - They forget to include a coffee stirrer with coffee. I get my fixings "on the side" and so need a way to stir it when it is added. 99.99% of the time they forget to include a stir stick so I've pretty much learned to ask for one at the window after they have given me my coffee. I suppose this isn't a big deal if you don't mind stirring your hot coffee with a finger, a pen, or other object you might find in your car. The worst trip was one where they put sweetener in my coffee and put the trash in the bag with my food. Lastly, I do not like that they stuff cold coffee creamers and cold butter containers in the same bag with a warm toasted bagel. At least the toasted bagels are wrapped in paper for some separation from the cold fixings. Either the employees here need more training or they need to slow down and stop being in such a rush. More than once I've had a rushed employee basically thrusting my bag and coffee at me, saying "here", "here", as I gather my money to pay. BTW, the store hours have changed and they do not have hot food items after 9PM. I learned that by accident one day this past summer. In fact, I arrived shortly before 9PM and not only had they closed down the grill, they also had no soup and no Iced Tea (they had already shut those operations down). Was disappointing to say the least. Service here use to be absolutely outstanding up until about 1 1/2 to 2 years ago. It is not so any more. The location at N. I have become very disappointed in the Westerville South State Tim Horton's. Have been a customer since it opened, but in the last few months, they've gone downhill. Orders are getting confused and outright wrong. They have been out of several of their bakeshop items. This morning after discovering that my Mocha Latte was in fact coffee and told they had no maple danishes, I went back, spoke to the manager. who told me there had been a big demand. When I asked him why they didn't bake more, he said there wasn't a big demand. Double talk. He suggested I call ahead.. Why? In the past I could pull into the drivethrough, get what I ordered fresh and hot (when appropriate) and no excuses. The other morning the driver ahead of me asked for three different baked items and was told they were out, so he said "the **** with it" and pulled out of the line.
