I absolutely loved everything: portion size was huge. Staff was friendly prices were reasonable.

    Gang Ped

The freshest most delicious ingredients. Full of veggies. Spring rolls were so fresh and crispy and just the right amount for a couple bites. The Gang Ped was large and so full of vegetables I ordered medium heat would probably order med-hot next time. The Pad Thai Curry was ordered medium and was HOT just the perfect amount of heat; so creamy and full of flavor. Friendly patient service and the place a nice modern clean vibe, decorated with plants and basket lights without being too cliche. I highly recommend and look forward to trying out the rest of the menu.

Delicious, fast takeout! They also always have consistent spice levels, which is sometimes tricky to find at Thai restaurants. Staff is friendly and quick. Prices do seem a bit high at first look, but the portions are huge, and I get at least 2 full meals out of each dish. My favorite is the Pad Seeiew with chicken. I can handle heat pretty well, and I find the medium spice level to be pretty good.

Delicious! Ordered the Gang Ped with chicken. Spice level "Mild +" and it packed a nice little punch. Very tender chicken and big slices of mushroom. Food came out very fast, which is great because I was hungry! Located in strip center on Woodward

The ambiance is fun and bright for basically a lobby where most people order to go. The service was friendly and fast. The food is definitely authentic Thai and one of the best I've had. We ordered spring rolls that were crispy and delicious, curry pad Thai with beef which was really good but I would choose a different protein next time, and the red curry with fried todo that was amazing. Even the rice was perfect. If you're near trendy Ferndale, give this place a shot.

Wow, I cannot recommend this place enough! This is without a doubt some of the best thai I've had! We got a to go order of spring rolls, Pad Thai with tofu and medium heat, and Bangkok Fried Rice house special medium heat- both dinner sizes. I don't think I've ever had a Pad Thai with so much flavor! We agreed both dishes had an insane amount of flavor to them. The service was decently quick, the staff who helped were friendly and the interior was very cute and cozy! There's only four sit down spaces- it's a very small interior but the to-go was great. If you're in the area looking for thai- go here!

The food is great, but oh man they're not playing around with the spice levels. I did get hot (not Thai hot), and it's enough to bring a bit of sweat, which I love. It's not enough to mute the flavor, but it's strong and it lingers on your lips. I ordered shrimp, fully expecting to be screwed on the number of shrimp(a recurring theme in my life) - But there was a decent number, and when I chopped them up enough to work for the dish. Overall, a solid experience. I'll definitely be stopping by in person some day.

I don't know if they're having an off night or something, but the food was so bad no one finished their meal. The spring rolls taste like coleslaw, the pad Thai has zero flavor and it smells like wet hay, and the wonton soup tasted like chicken water. I honestly can't believe how terrible it was. My MIL said the curry was good (that's why I gave 2 stars), but she asked for no spice and it was quite the opposite so she couldn't eat much. We spent almost $90 on this takeout meal and it was so incredibly disappointing I can't justify ever eating here again.

I liked the question "what Spicy level do you want ... (mild/medium/spicy)" for each dish. Decent sized portions and tasty food. The many and varied Pad Thai plates beckoned and we tried the omlette Pad Thai which was delicious and piping hot. Chicken Tom Yum soup and shrimp fried rice also were pleasurable. The atmosphere is really casual - the layout is more of a cafe than a formal dining room. I would definitely return and with friends.

I was excited to try this place based on reviews and pictures. The restaurant atmosphere is very…read morenice with cultural decor and a spacious layout. To start, we got moo krob (deep fried pork belly) which is the Thai version of Chinese siu yook. I have to say, I like siu yook so much more - it's a lot more flavorful having been marinated with five spice and served with delicious sweet hoisin sauce for dipping. The pork here was bland and the sauce (fish sauce based) was pretty one note. For my entree, I got rad na (rice noodles with gravy, Chinese broccoli, carrots, and choice of meat - I got pork) which was one of the best I've ever had! They used fresh rice noodles and sautéed it properly to give it the "wok hei" (wok-seared flavor). The gravy was deep and flavorful and the portion size was very good. If everything else was as good as my entree, I'd give this restaurant 5 stars. Unfortunately, my mom's Kao mun gai (steamed chicken with rice and "special sauce") was awful. She asked if the dish had any spice because she can't do spicy, and the server said no, so she decided she'd try it. The chicken was way overcooked and dry, with no flavor at all. The sauce, the only thing providing flavor and moisture, was spicy so that she couldn't eat it. We asked if there was any sauce she could get instead that wasn't spicy, and they said no, but they can give us a bottle of soy sauce. So my mom used some of that, and also took some of my rad na gravy. But because the chicken was so dry and bland, it was beyond saving. My dad got the Thai basil fried rice, mild spice. It was definitely hotter than other Thai restaurants' mild, and my dad said the spice overwhelmed the other flavors. I tried some of it and it was not bad, but nothing remarkable. They told us that traditionally, it's served with the rice on the side, which was strange to me because then it's not fried rice - it's sautéed meat and veggies with rice on the side. I am curious about how some of the other dishes taste here, but it's a shame that 3/4 of the things we ordered were mediocre to downright bad. While I enjoyed my entree, I felt bad my parents didn't enjoy their food.

Far East Chinese & Thai Food is FAR OUT and double good!…read more My office ordered lunch here for me and my boss' birthday today, and not only was the restaurant easy to communicate with regarding the large order, but the food was super dope as well. I ordered the Pad See Yu, and it was stupid good. The sauce had a hint of sweetness to it, and a healthy portion of beef, shrimp, chicken and pork. I didn't feel "cheated out" on anything like many other restaurants leave you feeling on combo dishes like this (see the photo). The dumplings come in 6, and we ordered both the steamed and pan fried. I failed to procure a photo of them, but these are the old school pot stickers - thicker dough and well made. Depending upon your mood, I could suggest either the steamed or the fried, but steamed is probably my fav. The egg rolls were crunchy and were not overly oiled, which means this restaurant cares enough to change their fry oil, ensuring that the guest has a better meal, rather than trying to stretch every last drop of an oil batch. I don't remember what everyone else got, but there were no complaints from the varied dishes I DO remember - Beef & Broccoli, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Kung Pau and more. I'll most certainly be coming to this establishment again in the near future, and couldn't recommend to you more ordering here yourself.
