Whether we're indulging in one of Tiger Sugar's signature creations or keeping things lighter with a tea-based boba, we're always on the hunt for quality - and this is one place we keep coming back to. Part of it is convenience since it's close to home, but we'd make the drive even if it weren't. After trying plenty of other local boba shops, Tiger Sugar has consistently remained one of our favorites and has set the bar surprisingly high. The ordering process is quick and easy with the self-service kiosks, though you can also order directly at the counter. The menu has enough variety that it always feels like there's something new to try, but it's hard not to come back to the classics. We've love the Black Sugar Milk and the Black Sugar Matcha Milk - both were excellent. The sweetness is incredibly well balanced - rich without being overpowering - and lets the flavors actually come through instead of tasting like straight syrup. When we're looking for something a little lighter, we'll often grab one of their regular tea boba drinks instead. It's consistently on point and a great option if you want all the boba satisfaction with a little less sugar and richness. The boba keeps me coming back, but the Hello Kitty touches definitely earn a few bonus points too. We've visited multiple times now, and the quality has been consistently solid. I was craving boba, and I've often driven by Tiger Sugar and never stopped in. So, now is the time! I took advantage of the self-service kiosk, although you can absolutely order at the counter. They have a ton to choose from, so after several minutes myself and my friend whittled it down to the Black sugar milk and the black sugar matcha milk. We got the largest but frankly we should have got the extra larges because they were so good! You can't adjust your sugar on either of these, and usually I'd be concerned about that as places have a tendency to make things over sweet. Not Tiger Sugar! It really was the perfect balance. I love coming to this place; it's honestly one of my favorite boba spots in the area, and I've recommended it to so many people. Their original brown sugar tea is so good. It has that deep, rich molasses flavor that hits perfectly every time it's made right, and you just can't find that same taste anywhere else. It's one of those drinks that, when it's done well, you crave for days afterward. Another thing I really appreciate is that they offer non-dairy milk options. You'd think more boba shops would do this, but it's actually super rare, so I love that they're inclusive of people who are lactose-sensitive or just trying to avoid dairy. It makes the menu feel way more accessible. The shop itself is on the smaller side. It's cute, but I do wish they had even a tiny lounge area or some comfy seating. It would be so nice to sit down with friends, hang out, and enjoy your drinks instead of having to take everything to go. It's not a dealbreaker, just one of those things that would make the whole experience feel more relaxed and complete. Now... my only real issue with this place, and honestly, the thing that breaks my heart a little, is the inconsistency. When they get it right, it's phenomenal. Truly 5-star, no hesitation, best boba in town. But when they miss, they really miss. The last time I went, the boba was extremely hard, like it hadn't been cooked long enough, and it barely had any of the brown sugar syrup that gives it that signature flavor. It was honestly disappointing because I was so excited for it. And the time before that, I didn't get any boba at all in my drink, which is wild considering that's literally the main reason you order it. It just feels crazy to me that a place with such high potential allows that level of inconsistency. If they could tighten up their quality control and make sure every drink tastes the same amazing way each time, this would be an always-reliable 5-star spot for me. But with my most recent experiences, I just can't give them a great rating right now, even though I really wish I could. Was just ok. Service was quick, but my drink was just eh. Had the Taro drink but it was slightly warm, maybe not enough ice. Boba was also too soft and a little flavorless. Also sucks that you couldn't customize your drinks, many places let you adjust the sugar and ice levels but this one just didn't (at least for the drinks I was looking at) Wasn't so bad that I wouldn't try again, especially given the lack of boba options in the area. Have you ever ordered something so good that it's hard to try something different on the menu? That's me + the strawberry mochi drink at this place!! If you've seen the viral videos of the "strawberry sago dessert" this is pretty much it with the addition of mochi + jelly + the texture is more creamy. This isn't your typical "boba" drink it's more of a dessert in which can be slurped with a straw. With how many toppings are in this thing, it gets you full! Side note - we decided to order the spicy popcorn chicken today, and it was ok. Didn't taste fresh. I wanted to come here to try their fish balls that were on their menu but when I arrived I saw that it was no longer available which was disappointing. The store is relatively small, just a counter for ordering and a small counter space to the right side of the entrance for putting down your drink and getting some napkins. On the left side is a little space for pictures which you see attached in my review. I don't remember which Tiger sugar drink I got but it's the one with egg pudding. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Tiger sugar tea since the ingredient is what it is. Milk, brown sugar, and boba. I also got their dessert since it was buy 2 get 1 free so I got their red bean and mochi, boba and mochi, and their custard filling. They took some time to come out since it was being freshly made but I also thought it was okay since the breading was so floppy. The ones I've tasted before, not at this location, had a more cooked hard shell to it where it was more firm and held up well when eating, which this was not the case. read more

My Daughter had been begging me to come to Tiger Sugar to get a Hello Kitty themed milk boba tea....& she did a good job convincing me. When we got there & started to place our order the lady informed us that they had discontinued the Hello Kitty speciality drink. We were a little disappointed but still was able to order one of the customer favorites, which was the Brown Sugar Boba milk & pearl w/ cream mousse. When we got our drinks the lady had used some Hello Kitty cups and tops they had left over to accommodate us which made my daughter's day very special. The Brown Sugar Boba was very rich & taste very similar to an espresso drink without the espresso. Definitely worth the try! My friends and I ordered all separate/different drinks than each other, but we had all unanimously loved our drinks. My favorite boba chain has finally arrived in Colorado and it's a short drive from my home. I usually order the number 1. There are other items that sound just as good that I want to try but the number 1 is just so delicious that I cannot give it up. It's located in a small plaza but there's plenty of parking. When you place your order, it comes out pretty quick too. The signature is not only a pretty drink but it tastes really delicious. It's not too sweet but just enough flavor. I always get it cold. If you do order it, shake your drink well until it's a singular color. I have seen people who think it tastes bland because they didn't shake it enough. A small, but mighty boba business. The hype around Tiger Sugar is legit, y'all! Interior is small and drinks are takeout only. The staff are friendly and work hard to get the drinks out in a timely manner. Be aware that they get busy and it can be a longer wait depending on how many people are ahead of you. I've had the signature drink and the pudding milk drink. Both are full of flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. Brown sugar boba, it's my new favorite and has made me a boba fan. All of the drinks can be made with lactose free milk or soy milk, which I think is a great option and inclusive to those with certain intolerances. I've had the regular and XL sizes, but I'm not sure that you get much more in the XL drink. The only issue I have is they fill the cup with ice and the prices are quite steep for the amount of actual drink you get. Almost $9 for an "XL" seems a bit outrageous to me. Worth it? Yes. I'll keep coming back as it's the best boba I've ever had, but I hope that they allow customizations in the future. read more

I was told that the most popular drinks here are #1, 4 and 5. Just note that for the brown sugar drinks, you can't reduce the sweetness level to that. Only on the regular tea drinks. I would say I made the right decision of getting the black sugar boba + pearl coffee late with cream mousse (#4). In addition to the boba pearls, I can feel tiny little boba pearls as well so it was a pretty good combination of chewy goodness. It wasn't sweet at all nor was the coffee overpowering either. Also, if you're lactose like me-- you can tell them to get the lactose-free milk and they won't charge for it. It will just say Lactaid on your receipt. Pretty good substitute if say I'm craving for some Frappuccino or something. Although the price is quite expensive -- almost $7 for a small cup!! They have XL too but I think that's too much. I got #1 and can see the employees weighing the boba and also the dark liquid. I figure the dark liquid is concentrated tea. Kinda like espresso version of tea. Nice to see they are trying to control the quality. 3 employees trying hard to keep up with the mid Monday rush. My #1, shaken less than 15 times was strong in flavor in a good way and boba cooked in perfect consistency even though sitting in the ice cold drink. I stopped by for the Yelp Elite event held here. The store itself is tiny with no seating. If you are trying to hang out with friends while sipping on boba, you'll have to do it outside. The staff there were doing great with what they had. There were only 2 employees there but they could definitely use at least one more as they seemed very busy. The boba itself tasted pretty good. I was a little disappointed with the size given the price and the fact that the drink was close to only half full when taking into account the amount of ice added. It wasn't clear like other boba places whether you can adjust the sweetness level and ice level. Another thing that made our visit not that great was that we tried to make sure multiple times that one of our drinks was completely dairy free as my girlfriend is allergic to lactose but her drink definitely contained dairy in it. I came here on Sunday around noon. The parking lot is very large, but the store front itself is small, but very clean. We were greeted by the staff who were super friendly and helpful. I ordered a #4 (boba milk + pearls and espresso) and my sister ordered the classic #1 boba milk + pearls. We're both lactose sensitive so we appreciated that we could get our drinks with soy milk. The beverages were ready shortly and we were reminded to shake it up ~15 before drinking. Although some other customers who came in after us were concerned that you couldn't customize the drink to be less sweet, I thought the sweetness level in the beverage was perfect. Not too sweet at all but just enough to hit the spot. I tried a sip of my sister's classic, but loved the touch of espresso in the #4- not too overpowering but still added a great boost. This is a Taiwanese chain of really good boba! I'm so excited we have a Denver location. If you're in the mood for brown sugar boba, this is the place to go. They're known for making their own boba and syrup in house. The syrup is poured into the sides of the cup so the drinks have tiger stripes. Everything I tried was really good! I got a coffee milk latte with boba and a brown sugar boba with pudding. Both drinks came with big and small boba pearls. Honestly this may be the freshest and tastiest boba I've ever had! All of the drinks are sweetened with the brown sugar syrup which is so good! The drinks only come in one size and they're about 12 ounces. I have difficulty finishing a larger size Boba so this was perfect for me. They have paper boba straws instead of plastic. You can customize your drink with lactose-free milk as well as soy milk if you have difficulty with dairy (like me)! They also offer green tea and black tea (no milk) with the boba. This is a great place for boba! Came here for a Yelp event supporting my gf. However, I really enjoyed the place. It was a smaller store than most milktea/boba shops I've been to, but the employees were helpful and super nice. Love how its the year of the tiger and Yelp has an event here. We got the matcha and mango sago. I really enjoyed the matcha as it wasnt too sweet from the brown sugar and it was thoroughly mixed. I would definitely be back here if I'm in the area. The boba is really good here, the signature drink is amazing and definitely one of the best spots in Aurora. There's only 2 things stopping this place from getting 5 stars. 1) The place is tiny, there's no space to wait so the line can get pretty long. There's no seats and you'll probably have to wait outside. 2) You can't adjust sweetness or ice levels of the drinks. This definently sucks because I hate when my boba is full of ice and I end up drinking super watered down boba but the boba made up for it. Yummy boba drinks that are different than you find at other boba shops. CO is finally catching up with the number of Asian dessert and boba spots opening up in the last few years. Tiger Sugar has a very limited menu that focuses mostly on their signature brown sugar drinks. On a previous visit I had tried the Mochi Bobo drink, and was not a fan. I couldn't get past the texture of the mochi, even though the drink itself was good. I would not get this again. This visit we got the #4 Brown Sugar drink with Coffee. Coffee flavor is bold and delicious. Boba was nice and fresh with the perfect chewy texture. We also got the new Mango Sago drink -- mango drink with mango jelly and sago tapioca balls. The sago balls are tiny and softer than boba. There is no caffeine in this drink so it's nice to have a more kid-friendly option (I mean, as long as you're ok with your kid getting super sugared up! lol) I'd recommend Tiger Sugar -- nice addition to our local lineup of drink spots. read more

We went for the GIANT boba. It was truly huge balls. The staff could've been friendlier. The girl at the register was unfriendly and not very apologetic when they didn't have Ube cheesecake, she also kept berating the guy who was making our drinks when he kept sealing the drinks wrong and forgot to put giant boba in some of our drinks, instead of just correcting the error. It was pretty obvious she didn't want to work there. When we asked her about the giant boba, she proclaimed it wouldn't be good in most of the drinks because it was coffee-flavored. I guess she had people complain about it? IDK. You shouldn't assume people don't like a certain flavor though. The tea itself was great. I like the passionfruit tea and the jelly. I am so excited to have a tiger sugar location here in Colorado! This one is conveniently located at the intersection of the 225 and Parker Road, in a little strip mall near the King Soopers. I usually end up swinging by any time I'm in the area or after dinner at Star of India. I've had good experiences ordering online and in person, with quick and prompt service from the staff. The shop itself is pretty small and lends itself better to pick up or order and go. Tiger sugar sets itself apart from the many bubble tea shops popping up in Aurora with its specialty being brown sugar boba. This means an emphasis on milk teas so I tend to default to their black sugar boba or matcha. My only complaint is that their drinks are on the pricier side, $9.29 for the 20-ish ounce size. All milk based drinks come with either lactose free or soy milk, which makes this a shop that's great if you're lactose intolerant. One of the things that keeps me coming back is their perfectly cooked boba, which adds an extra element of deliciousness to the drinks. Overall, a solid option for milk based bubble tea drinks that brings some more familiarity since I've been drinking their stuff since before I moved to Colorado but the price keeps me from constantly being here. read more
