Feeling bad about not utilizing such a cozy place often enough, when I was running errands in the area, I was eager to spare 10 minutes out of my day to re-appreciate it with a cup of latte. The lady upfront was welcoming. The temperature outside was warmer for a typical mid-November day and yet seeing her smile warmed me up more. As usual, I got me a triple latte in a medium size cup. I'm between cappuccino or loaded latte (meaning extra shot); lately a triple latte has been my go to. My latte was made generously all the way up to the rim of the cup. And when I took my first sip, I got the instant gratification; it truly hit the spot. Cuteness is what this shop is all about. The decors throughout the store are adorable. Some goods are for sale. I took the time to look around and take some photos. Every visitor should find at least a few items that pique their curiosity and interest.

There was a boba themed book written by an AANHPI author reading. The book was read by Katherine Chow, author of Silly Shrimphony. I believe the book read was I Love Boba by Katrina Liu. Such an awesome day and event. Patrick was welcoming and served everyone in turn their orders. The Sweet Thu-th pop up was also yum! Cake pops - u got the ube swirl and ube flavors. Delish! Everything was so good. Yuan Wonton chili wontons are always transcending. And the refreshing passion fruit with lychee popping boba and mango slush with boba drinks tasty.

The new food items are a nice surprise too. It's really chill vibe on a good place for cold Boba on a hot day. The day I visited it was almost hitting 100°F. I ended up ordering the Ube Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar Boba. I wish I would have got it without the sweet cream because it ended up curdling towards the bottom of my drink. The service was good. The young lady who took my order was very kind. She told me about the drink. I ordered in the different options for the milk used to make the drink. I had the choice of regular milk, oat milk, and another milk that I forgot. Although the most popular are the strawberry and mango, I decided to try the black sesame as it is my personal fave. We also got it with an extra side of condensed milk, which really made a difference and amped up the texture and flavor. It was pretty good, it came with a mochi and frozen red bean paste, almonds, and plenty of shaved ice. It was a giant bowl, too much for two people even, and we took the rest of it home. Surprisingly, it was even better later on when the snow had turned into more of a gelato texture. At nearly $20 for the bowl it's no steal, but it was a nice treat, and I'm happy to say that I've tried it.
