Arrived at 12:30, and waited in line forever. There is only 1 worker thats so slow and doesn't know what shes doing. When i finally went to order she couldnt figure out how to do the registrater and I had to re-swipe my card about 7 times. I came with my pregnant girlfriend for a nice açaí bowl. There ended up being only one employee with her only being able to make less than half of the menu. Employee said only one blender was available, so there was some wait time before we were about to receive our items. Currently sitting here waiting for 24 smoothies to be made. Called yesterday 100x for someone to finally answer the phone hours after trying. A lady named Mona answered the phone and helped me and figured out what I needed to order to serve my sons first grade class(for his Birthday). Called me back and left a message saying what they could do and it would be ready by 1:30pm. I get here and they have nothing made(mind you it's 1:40pm and they were supposed to be ready by 1:30). They all have a blank stare and instead of being apologetic-act like I'm there problem when in turn-they are now my HUGE problem. I said I would go thru with this if they can finish in 10min. They said they could and seemed annoyed; I'm the annoyed one let me tell you. I could not order online since there is no option to split all the smoothies into the kids cups. Trust me I would rather order online then call a million times yesterday. The only reason I'm going to give this establishment any stars is because I'm hopefully leaving here with my smoothies and also people make mistakes. I guess in the future if I order a large order of anything I would call right before to make sure they started. But in this places case they DO NOT answer there phones. I visited this location 10 minutes before closing, and apologized to the staff as I hadn't realized until I arrived of the 7:00 closing on a Sunday. I was actually next door meeting with a friend and opted for Jamba Juice over Boboa Tea. This staff was disregarding and almost disrespectful so I asked to cancel my order of greens and ginger concerned that her dismissive attitude would impact my smoothie, and it did. She also stated that the order couldn't be cancelled. There were clumps of strawberry, mango, ginger and kale that wouldn't pass through the straw. When she set my drink down, her comment, "There it is", was truly a hallmark standard of the transaction. I had a pretty good experience, with the cashier Sophia being really helpful and sweet even making an item off the Jamba website that wasn't on this specific stores menu. I was taking my brother out for his birthday and he got a peanut butter and banana smoothie (without realizing it has bananas as he normally avoids them like the plague) but he ended up really enjoying the smoothie bananas and all. However this location could have been cleaner and it took a while for use to get our order which was only two drinks which were done at very different times. Delivering fresh and delicious smoothies in a clean and inviting atmosphere shouldn't be this hard. I was somewhat surprised when I scrolled back to read other reviews (as far back as 2017) That noted the dirty mop / mildew smell that fills the air once inside the threshold of this store-WHOA! This shop is in a state of disrepair, the refrigerated Case in the front doesn't work , the tables and chairs are banged up, teenagers working without adult supervision . I went to Jamba Juice to get my free birthday smoothie. They were very friendly and I asked which green smoothie was the best. The lady taking my order recommended the apple with greens. It was definitely what I was craving and hit the spot. It was filling enough to be lunch. The store wasn't crowded and there was plenty of parking. Great location and I will be returning. Definitely a regular. Love this place!!! I'd highly recommend the Caribbean Passion, my FAV! If you like orange & berries you will LOVE this drink!! I even had my nail technician wanting some! This was the worst example of customer service I have ever experienced. Just horrendous. A few weeks ago, I stopped in the location in Southlands during an event in the area. Although the store had at least 5 employees that I saw at work that day, none of them seemed interested in serving customers. They merely hung around the back area, feigned cleaning here and there and spent time on their phones. After waiting behind two young customers to place an order for about ten minutes, I FINALLY asked them if their order had been taken. It had not. I asked one worker if they were taking orders, and they responded saying they were short-staffed. The kids gave up and left. Long story short, I waited more than half an hour to even PLACE the order. And another 10 at least to receive it. No apologies, no recognition from the manager, just sneers and whispers amongst them. When I left, a line of 15 people went out the door. Several had left. This location is suffering from, what appears to be, a severe lack of management. The staff is as fast and friendly as they can be, but they are frantically trying to keep up with demand without any sort of structure whatsoever. One person will ring someone up, then move to making a drink or bowl, while another frantically washes blenders and reading orders, while a third still goes between gathering resources from the refrigerator to belong with drinks. Each person goes from cash register to drink making to whatever else. Why? Because there isn't someone who's job it is to make the work flow logical and orderly. It took well over 20 minutes just to get my order placed and another ten to fleet my drink and there were only 4 orders ahead of mine. That's unacceptable. And that's with the staff doing their best to keep up. Jamba management, step up your game, I saw two separate customers walk out when they saw the line 10 people deep. Great job to the staff. Went back to the door at 9:10 and was told by the same miserable woman that she can't technically open the doors until all of the cash drawers are gone through.
