I'm honestly so disappointed by this experience, especially because this has been one of my favorite local smoothie places. The products have always been good, but the service has consistently left something to be desired. Today, I mobile ordered and accidentally sent my order to the wrong location. I completely recognize that I made a human error. When I explained what happened, the employee told me he needed to call his manager because he'd never encountered this situation before. He came back and told me they wouldn't make the smoothie at this location, despite me showing them my receipt and the paid order. I was also told I wouldn't be able to get a refund from the other location. So essentially, I was left with a $10+ smoothie I couldn't pick up, and no solution. I understand policies exist, and I understand that the mistake was mine. What really upset me was the complete lack of empathy or willingness to help find a reasonable solution. I don't have unlimited time to drive around to another location because of an honest mistake. Unfortunately, they've lost a customer today. I genuinely hope this feedback reaches management and leads to better customer service and more flexibility when situations like this happen. Just had the weirdest interaction... My friend was ordering and the limited time smoothies don't work for the $5 Fridays. That's fine but they couldn't just say that It was like nobody knew what was happening and the employees weren't saying anything. It was so so strange. He said he didn't want it and we left but he was still confused I think. They had already started making it which is unfortunate but of course not our problem. Can't determine if expensive or I just had not been to a juice bar in a while. I do love that they upsize the juice cup if you get with ice. I ordered the detox because it had apple in it to give it some sweetness -- but still very healthy tasting. The service was friendly- instantly greeted when you walk in. The best bowls around! Our family comes here at least once a week. We always get full off of one bowl. It's a pretty good size and they're always filled to the top. This is a great option if you want something on the healthy side! Açai banana berry bowl is my favorite! Love the flavors and fresh fruit on the top. Very impressed. This was our first visit to Nektar. We wanted to get two of the açaí bowls, but it had been a busy afternoon because of the summer heat, so they had run out of açaí. Sam behind the counter kindly offered to go immediately to the supermarket to get some more açaí; we then went off to get our car washed and returned 20 minutes later to get our açaí bowls. Both bowls were heaping full of great, fresh ingredients served by friendly people. Caring, hard working customer service and superb product quality. Can't ask for more... If you want a delicious smoothie that isn't full of sugar, you need to stop at Nekter. Easy to navigate for out of town guests and parking is not hard to find. The staff is sweet and helpful in choosing if you're stuck on what to get. They also have Gluten free options for snacks. Protein balls are in the case along with prepared celery juice or lemonade. The prices were not bad, 24oz costs about $8-9. Its isn't a place to run in and out of since each smoothie and juice are made to order. I ordered the Turmeric Sunrise smoothie and it's everything! Nektar abuses gig workers to fetch their fruit and tip next to nothing. The drinks you enjoy were supplied by underpaid, poorly tipped Instacart shoppers. Today they ordered 130 bananas with a $2 tip. Businesses like Nektar use Instacart which is a consumer app to take advantage of cheap deliveries on the backs of hard working gig workers. Businesses should use business delivery systems or tip properly. Nektar is the reason you often see empty shelves of fruit at Sprouts. They need to order from a business service. read more

There have been at least 5 separate occasions where my order has not been ready for one reason or another. Today i came in 10 minutes after the suggested time to purposefully give them more time to finish and my order was only half done. My New Favorite Spot to eat!! This is a great spot for a healthy pick me up. My favorite is the Greenie -fresh pressed juice. It's full of great things like kale, spinach, parsley, etc. but it also has some lemon and apple which makes it tastier to drink. Another favorite of mine has been the Acai Banana Berry Bowl. Yum! It is so good. The serving sizes are pretty big for the price as well and it fills me up. Unfortunately not all Nekters are created equally. The last time, we were ignored by the staff for 10 minutes while they tended to online orders. Not even a "hold on I'll be right with you." The staff member taking our order, and preparing orders, had their mask down past their nose. Nobody was in front of us, and it took 40 minutes to get a smoothie and a bowl.
