We came here craving a smoothie, and I tried the fan favorite "Sunrise Sunset" with strawberries, mango, pineapple, and orange juice... consider me a fan! I was a bit disappointed to find out they only sell smoothies in one size. It was a little much for me, and I would've loved a smaller option. I also tried their all-American breakfast wrap with sausage (they also offer bacon). I enjoyed it... definitely better than what I'd get at Starbucks! It was very cheesy though, more like a breakfast quesadilla... but a yummy one. They do a great job reheating it, and the tortilla was nice and crispy. I placed my order on their app since I was on the go and maybe I was hungry, but wow. I usually go for their smoothies and decided to switch it this time with their Bahama Mama bowl. I was worried it'd come with the white chocolate in its base since it's noted in the smoothie detail (but just says the name for a base) and I actually wanted to omit it since I didn't want the bowl to be super sweet, but couldn't figure out how to exclude it on the app. Since I had arrived slightly early as they were about to make it, the staff did say it was already excluded in the bowl version... I don't think I tasted it so that was nice and everything paired so well!! The jalapeño corn side had also caught my eye and it was only $2.49! I had such a hard time not devouring this completely. I wasn't expecting it to be warmed up, but I'm not mad about it. the jalapeños gave it a nice kick and I actually added it to my lunch leftovers. The two were a win in my book, and definitely will order these again. It's nice that the location is tucked in the corner so parking was a breeze. read more

I got a pineapple smoothie there before and it was one of the most amazing smoothies ever I had. This service was awesome. The workers showed respect to me. I love this place and I would go again. The ambiance was also very cool! Overall, really really nice vibes there. Was a relaxing day and I decided to enjoy myself a smoothie so I drove to the place and I walked into a colorful display and thought it was very beautiful! We stopped into this Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a little refreshment and ordered an acai nutella bowl, which was really good. Then Dominic told us he had accidentally made a wrong smoothie for an online customer, and would we like to try the one that he had made. We said YES! and boy are we glad we did. It was DELICIOUS! He was so smart to offer it to us instead of tossing it out because he made big fans of us and now we will for sure be back. Kudos to Dominic for his friendliness and smart marketing to get us to try a "free" smoothie to convert us into real fans! Also can't wait to try some of the wraps and flatbreads. Tropical Smoothie Cafe ran a promotion 3-4 weeks ago where if you signed up, they sent you a code for a completely free 24oz Tropic Time Smoothie. I hadn't been to one of these in over 10 years best I can figure, and this freebie definitely is what got me back! At lunchtime today (Monday) I ordered online in Safari on my phone. I didn't use the App to order because I couldn't find a place to input the code. I very much appreciate that that they are offering curbside contactless service. You input the make, model, and color of your vehicle and just pull up to the curb in front. The plaza isn't very busy, so I don't see it being an issue to wait for a few with your 4-ways on for the foreseeable future. Within probably 2 minutes a cheerful masked employee handed me my smoothie through my car window. The whole process was painless. I got the 600 calorie Avocolada, which is made with avocado, pineapple, spinach, kale, coconut, and lime. It would normally have cost $6.29 plus tax. This was a really great promo to comp that and not even be required to make an additional purchase! It was bigger than I'd anticipated. I immediately thought awesome, I'll save some for later. Evidently I liked it plenty, because I finished the whole thing rapidly, the coldness barely slowed me down. I usually go for something fruity and sweet, like a strawberry/banana concoction or similar, but this was a nice departure. This was a reminder that I went on a brief Tropical Smoothie Cafe kick back in 2007-2009 ish when I lived near one in Mesa, AZ. There is just no better smoothie place than Tropical Smoothie Cafe in my opinion. I do however want to make a suggestion as last week I was pretty frustrated about my one-smoothie order. I live 10 minutes away and order through the app a few minutes before I leave the house for school or work. 9/10 times when I arrive my order is ready, even while busy. Last week I showed up about 15 minutes after I ordered and the cashier notified me that it wasn't ready just yet. I was fine to wait a few more minutes. I watched over 5 other customers walk inside, order and receive their order before me. I saw my receipt with my name on the counter next to 3 other online orders not fulfilled. I asked the cashier why my order has not been fulfilled as of yet and how the online order works compared to the in-store customers. She advised me that they take the in-store orders first before completing the online. That confused me because... what is the point of ordering ahead? I was very close to leaving and asking for a refund as my name was finally called, 30 minutes after I placed the order online. I ended up being late for work that day, you can see my frustration now. So my suggestion is the online orders should be in the same exact Que as the in-store orders -- because that then defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead. I gave 5 stars because this only happened once and I love the taste and quality of the smoothies! read more
