Barista is rude. No veterans discount while every other Starbucks offers one. A customer, who was sitting and drinking a coffee and working, came up and asked the same barista for a cup of water and was told no! The space is large and welcoming but with service like this, who cares!! Dear Manager, you may want to consider retraining your staff. The experience here clearly does not align to Starbucks corporate investment / commercials highlighting the experience that everyone is welcome and should come in, relax and enjoy your products. Starbucks is the same everywhere? Not really. This place has a capacity of 91 people. Very large open workspaces for people to hang out and work. There's the usual music playing in the background as you enjoy your brew. The coffee is the same no matter what. My usual, Venti Pike. I would love to know the corporate policy for Veterans discounts. Some stores honor and other stores do not. Should be uniform across all stores. This was the first Starbucks that denied a customer that was working g a cup of water. He was told he had to purchase something to get water. That's bad from a billion dollar company. We just went through the drive through quickly. It was hassle free and they got our simple order right. My main issue was the huge volcanic craters you have to maneuver around to make it through the drive thru. The city really needs to fix that. Wow! It's crazy busy in this Bux! I've been here twice and both occasions at different time of the day. Before lunch and before dinner. Both times I ate standing up and drank my hot cocoa standing up. Really. No. Place. To. Sit! They have this awesome area where a fireplace is. Guess what? It's a coveted space. I was even going to join strangers but there was no space at all. Every square inch here is taken up by tables and chairs and people. I was told when it snows they get cray cray like this. I think my conclusion is that they're just busy period. The baristas are efficiently fast. So don't fret. So be prepared to eat and run. Unless you get an awesome parking karma. This Starbucks happens to be within walking distance to my preferred hotel. Although Starbucks is not my first option, sometimes the convenience does it justice. Most of the time I order an Americano, as it has less bitterness and is typically more bold than drip coffee. I really enjoy their black iced tea on occasion. The staff here is always friendly even at 6am, which I think is important. Your first day's experience or interaction can set the stage for the remaining day, positive or negative. I've been here few dozen times and always left with a smile. The best attribute at this location is the grand interior. As you walk in, shelves on each side, create a path directing you towards the ordering counter. To the left there a multiple tables, sufficient for at least couple dozen patrons. To the right, a similar arrangement awaits you; however, it has something special that no other Starbucks I've been to has, a fireplace. Picture a ski lodge with comfortable chairs crowding a fireplace. During those winter cold mornings, the glimpse of it instantly warms my half asleep shivering body. Snowfall outside the window only makes this Starbucks more magical and a pleasure to relax at. Why can't we have a Starbucks with a fireplace in San Jose? Well well well, another review for this place. Let's make this one good and legit. Hmm the drinks are always alright. It's Starbucks and I don't know what people really expect. This location specifically is quite busy. Always filled with people doing work or having some get together. Anyways these reviews are mainly about staff since most Starbucks are the same in other aspects. I think his name is Dustin but like I'm never good with names. Absolute stellar service and drinks. Like oof with what Starbucks gives as starting ingredients he makes it good. Quite a nice guy and doesn't give you trouble when you want refills. Mason on the other hand is another story not sure if it's cause he made it but his drinks are always bitter. Must not be made with love. I can taste all the bitterness brought into the coffee. Oh man, I am such an idiot and the staff here got a good kick out of it and were so, so kind!!! I did a mobile order to the Starbucks in the mall but outside of it thinking it was this location. We go in to also purchase some mugs because they had an amazing selection compared to other Starbucks in the area! After purchasing the mugs, I realized our drink wasn't ready. They handled it so well and made our drink immediately and even said they would call the other store to let them know. I already felt terrible so I said I would call. Cue embarrassing moment. I opened the app and clicked on the store I placed the order at. Or so I thought. It somehow went to the store I was in and I called it. They picked up and I told them the situation and she thought, what are the odds? And I'm over here like, why is it echoing? So I'm walking away and she's coming over to me and we realized I had called her and we are talking to each other. I was so embarrassed but it was so funny! They handled it so well. Super quick and friendly service. The space inside is definitely the most impressive. I have never seen such a spacious layout in a starbucks! Great for big groups of people or individuals who want to study or read. The couches are pretty comfortable and there are plenty of tables next to electric outlets if you want to bring your laptop. This location is also opened much later than other Starbucks' in the area. Definitely a great place to get work done or just unwind with some coffee. read more

I know Starbucks' are usually a dime a dozen, but this particular location is truly a cut above. This location is BIG, with plenty of space to spread out, work on your laptop, meet up with a group, or just read a book. They have tons of comfy chairs and couches. They also have a much larger selection of snacks than I typically see at smaller locations. The service was prompt and pleasant - my drink was ready within about 2-3 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. They also have a drive through which I always like. The overall large space and cozy ambience and furniture was the most impressive part to me! This Starbucks gets most of its stars for location and the fact that it has a drive thru. Other than that, it is a plain old Starbucks. They will make you a fairly decent latte and give you a comfy spot to sit if you like. They are a big corp so no free wi-fi - it is a T-Mobile hot spot so you will have to pay for the privilege to surf while you slurp. The drive thru at this one gets crazy busy and they often mess up orders - so be sure you confirm your drink when they hand it to you!! I have had them double charge me and get the wrong order at this one (on more than one occasion). Guess the drive thru is a bit too hard to grasp for good ole bucky's. I was there yesterday, ordered a blueberry oatmeal. It had mold all over the blueberries.. this isn't the first time it's happened. I don't think they ever check their blueberry stock. I called once I saw the mold and spoke to Bella on the phone. She was very nice and offered me a refund on my order and told me the next time I come in my order will be of no charge. This Starbucks gets a lot of traffic in the mornings, no matter what day of the week. The drive thru line can get really long, so sometimes I don't even jump in line, I just throw on my mask walk inside and within 5 minutes I have my cup of coffee and breakfast muffin. There is plenty of parking to go around but I have not been here while the Asian restaurant next door is open, so I cant judge how full the parking lot can get while balancing both businesses, especially once COVID is over, but for the time being, it should be a quick pickup and go. read more

The problems with cappuccinos at Starbucks are poor quality coffee-Pikes Perk, foam that isn't creamy, and inability to make a wet drink. As the photo shows, by the time I got my drink, the foam had disappeared-leaving me with more than 2 inches of nothing at the top. We have gone to this location since moving to Lone Tree. It is common to get unpleasant customer service, but every once in awhile they will surprise you. The most frustrating thing about this location is the inconsistency with the quality of the beverages. I order the same drink multiple times a week and there seems to be no guarantee that it will taste as intended. Yesterday when I picked up a coffee before work I was incredibly disappointed as I couldn't taste of the specifiers of the order. Trust me, it's not a complex order. On top of this is literally taste like burnt, old coffee. If I am paying nearly $7 plus a tip that is now forced upon us, I would at least like to get the coffee that I am ordering. There is hardly any gratitude even when you do tip and then I have to be the once to ask for a stopper for my drink, which is received as such an inconvenience to the barista. I have continued to frequent this location solely due to how conveniently located it is from my home, but yesterday was it. Having my Starbucks app makes it too easy to drop in for a cuppa on my hood. I frequent three outlets nearby, with this one being more of a destination than a drop-in. It's large with plenty of seating, but can be packed to the gills during peak hours. There is a nice gas fireplace for cold days, and the staff is friendly and efficient. This was the closest coffee spot to my hotel and directly on the way to work site, so I gave in more than once. I think it's the largest Starbucks I've ever been to, with several rooms (one with a gas fireplace). You could almost hold a business meeting here. It also had a drive-through, but the line was always so long I never gave it a shot. (That, and I always bring my own cup, which doesn't seem to work well in drive-throughs). The long car line made parking lot navigation a bit of a pain. It could also detract from the service indoors, with the staff occasionally overwhelmed by the constant extrusion of vente caramel macchiatos into all those idling SUVs. (One drink went into a driver's lap, and the whole place shut down for 5 minutes as the staff went into a momentary, blind panic). Sometimes great service; sometimes terrible; but mostly in-between. This is a good, solid Starbucks. I liked it before the remodel and I love it after. Although this is the second busiest Starbucks in the state of Colorado, they usually get me in and out. I don't understand why all the cars are snaked around the parking lot to use the drive through-- there is usually no one inside. Jerry, one of the baristas, has been there awhile. He always remembers my name and my order--- he even asks about things he remembers about me (my dogs, my husband, etc.) It's really special. I wish there were more people like Jerry! (At Starbucks and just in general). I took a pretty long hiatus from Starbucks for awhile (trying to choose local coffee shops), but the convenience is pretty alluring.
