When I'm too lazy to get out of the car, I go to this Starbucks location, which has the credit of being one of the largest Starbucks I've ever seen. The drive-thru service is typically a little slow, but the friendliness of the staff always seems to make the wait a little better. The line usually gets bad around 8 or 8:30 each weekday morning. The crowd can also be found on the inside where you will easily be waiting 10 minutes during peak times. What do you expect for one of the only non-grocery store Starbucks location in the Lone Tree area? There was a massive remodel done on this Starbucks recently and what a new look this Bucks is showing off. Plenty of outlets convenient for everyone, especially for the laptop crowd. There is a large seating area inside that offers a variety of chairs to choose from. I always like a large patio, and this patio is large, however as you are enjoying the sunlight you'll be treated to the busy drive thru wrapping around two sides of the patio and the ability to hear every customers order in detail. Okay Starbucks. I usually love you. But tonight I needed to pop in for a bathroom break on the road and then a tea. Your guy that was cleaning the bathroom had a few girls waiting on him. He knew it too, as three of us separately walked into the bathroom, panicked and needing to go. He was restocking towels but made us wait uncomfortably instead of just excusing himself and coming back to windex the mirror later. Customer service was great at the counter, but the rude bathroom boy seriously hurt the ambiance. You should never tell women that they'll have to hold it or come back in a few minutes because you're on a windexing mission. Maybe prop the door open next time to let them know you're in the women's restroom cleaning. read more

This Starbucks in Lone Tree can be extremely busy. The drive-thru is especially popular, and can cause a log-jam when trying to enter or exit the parking lot. However, this is a very large Starbucks with varied seating inside, and a larger patio outside. It also has larger bathrooms that are kept rather clean. The staff here seem to hustle, and do a good job of moving the lines along. It also seems like a friendly crew working here. This is better than your average Starbucks. read more

As far as Starbucks goes, I'd consider this one above average. There's plenty of seating inside and a fireplace for those inevitably cold days & nights. Or some patio seating for the nicer days. It's a great space that gets plenty of sunlight during the day and good for hanging out or doing some work. I have no complaints with the service as the baristas do a fine job and are generally friendly. I don't understand why the drive thru every morning is literally at least 10-15 cars long. The line inside is shorter and you can get in and out pretty quickly. It could possibly be because the narrow layout of the parking lot doesn't allow for a lot of close up spots - so there is a bit of walking outside to get into the Starbucks. #firstworldproblems read more

Great location, like most starbucks it's super busy. Would like a bit more "outside the box" thinking from them but it's not going to happen. This is the biggest Starbucks I have ever been to. And it is packed... There is a big drive-thru, lots of outdoor seating, a ton of tables and different areas. You could easily hold everything from a team meaning to a first match.com meeting here (by the fireplace!) read more

After the perfect shopping experience at the Park Meadows mall on a nice sunny day, this Starbucks managed to save the day by sealing the deal with their delicious premium version coffee as well as their spectacular service to us. They are quick, easy, nice, and understanding with very minimal problems. They know exactly what your little heart desires when it comes to their menu. I've always been some sort of a chocolate lover kind of gal, and they quenched my thirst by giving me their extra chocolate chip frappe and awesome side of cheesy croissant dessert. The drive thru options are very much available to you as well, and can easily make your experience at Starbucks Happy, calm and fast. That was indeed our route coming to this Starbucks, was the absolute help of the quick Drive-Thru. Definitely worth a visit. read more

This is one of the nicest Starbucks in the area. The patio is a really nice spot (until the Fire Dept across be street sends a truck out and it gets LOUD). The drive through can be quite busy at times but they seem to manage the line really well. This will be my last time at this Starbucks. I spend about $25/week via my Starbucks app, but this place can't seem to get my order correct. I just wanted a trenta iced tea and asked for 2 Splenda packets on the side. They couldn't help themselves and put the sweetener in the tea rather than give me the packets on the side. It's too sweet! I always put less in... that is why I asked for them on the side. Second time this has happened. Last time not only was my tea wrong, I was given the wrong lunch option. The first person we dealt was impossible to understand, the second person did not want to help and instead gave us a bunch of bad attitude. I hardly ever write reviews and even fewer negative ones, but this was the worst experience in any Starbucks I have ever had. We have some great local cafes in the area, but they all close pretty early. This location is open until 10pm+. This location is larger cafe with lots of seating (comfortable love seats, big chairs, large and small workspaces), warm fireplace. Nice, efficient baristas. They are also serving wine and beer now. Very friendly staff. The inside was very clean and well decorated. For a starbucks, this was one of the nicest ones I have been to. Unfortunately the drive thru line was so long I had to go inside. I totally understand it is my fault I chose to go to "fast food" coffee where there is a drive thru so I can't complain that much. With more and more third wave shops popping up in the greater Denver area, even Lone Tree, Starbucks just can't compete with the quality. Sure there's a fireplace but the glass surround is filthy. The trash cans are often overflowing. The floors are dirty. Surfaces are rarely wiped. The comfy chairs have spills on them. Not my fave by a long shot! read more

I'm a huge fan of Starbucks. And I will continue to go at least 3 to 5 times a week. I have to say that I am not impressed with the customer service and the speed of this specific location. I've been there multiple times and it seems like they're fully staffed yet they are very slow. I'm used to getting the Starbucks in the city so I'm not sure if this is just the change that I have to expect coming to the suburbs. If I walk in and there's not a line I wouldn't expect we more than two minutes for my drink. Today I was second in line and I waited for over 10 minutes and they gave me the wrong drink. Came in today to do some work. They only had three people working the counter and drive through. They were very understaffed, line going out the door and at least 10 cars in the drive through. They did an AMAZING job taking care of every customer. My drink was made perfectly and even thought there were some irritated customers they were all very nice. This is my favorite Starbucks to go to and today coming here with the three man/woman crew having the amazing attitudes they did made my day that much better. Really like this Starbucks. It feels spacious and there are several different seating areas. I'm partial to the lounge chairs next to the fireplace, as well as the padded seats with a table that are pretty comfortable. There's an interesting food selection here that I haven't seen elsewhere - besides the traditional La Boulange items, lunch wraps and sandwiches (love the Turkey with Stuffing), there was flatbread, specialty popcorn (Almond Roca popcorn is awesome), etc. It does get pretty packed at certain times. Best Starbucks in town. It's the biggest, and also seems to be the busiest. And all the male baristas are hot and friendly. This Starbucks has a great off set room for studying. I am only giving this place 5 stars because it is where I met the love of my life. That was years ago, however, and I must say that now whenever I go to YoMax ... I dread it. I don't think I've gone into the lobby to get a drink and had it A) made correctly or B) made in under 6-7 minutes in.... years. To put it simply: it is way too busy in there, they are always understaffed, and the baristas are usually as miserable as the customers waiting 10 minutes for their drink. Starbucks policy is to get your drink made in 3 minutes or less from when you pay. Umm try 3 times that at this store. I believe the reason why it's so slow is because they only have 2 bars running in the AM, and they close one down in the late morning... for the majority of the day, only one espresso machine to make all those drinks? At least that's how it used to be! I will say that it's a great place to grab coffee with a friend or have an afternoon to spend working... since the lobby (and patio!) is so big, you can grab a little corner and feel secluded but still people watch and have another cup of coffee never more than 10 feet (and 10 minutes) away :) I really just avoid it at all costs, except whenever I want to reminisce about the good ole days of meeting my love. read more

Not impressed. Terrible service. I was the only one in the drive thru and ordered 3 drinks. Took forever while the employees stood inside with the window closed and shot the bull. Then a drink comes out done only half-assed. The girl at the window had the worst attitude. I had to ask her to fix the drink and then still needed to ask for the receipt. What a joke. Don't bother with this location. The service just isn't worth it, even on a slow day. read more

The drive-thru wait time was excessively long! Over ten minutes for three cars ahead of us!! But they pulled through and gave my daughter and I free drinks without us even having to say anything! This is Starbucks so the coffee has to be good! I use this location At least 3 times a week because my work is just around the corner. And 100% of the time I do drive thru! I spend $3.90 for grande nonfat latte and sometimes I add morning sandwich.....this is a lot of money spending. I understand this is my choice.
