This cute and friendly little spot is awesome! We wandered in on a Wednesday night after some indoor putt putt next door. They also have food, but we didn't try. We tasted a beer from Iceland on tap, wow it was great! Einstock Iceland White Ale -- get it! Try it! We were sold after that taste :) You generally walk up to the bar to get drinks, but it was really nice they were coming over to check on us since they had the time. And we did order more when they came over, so good on them! And they were friendly, too. It was a nice time there. We got lucky it happened to be all day happy hour on Wednesdays, yay!! Otherwise, it's 4-6pm M-F where you can get $5 well drinks/beers/wines and chips & salsa. It's in a strip mall but don't let that deter you! There's so many strip malls out this way, anyway. I saw there was an outdoor space but we didn't check it out as it was chilly, brrrr. And they have a small stage for live music, I think he said it was Thursday to Saturday. read more

THIS BAR IS BACK OPEN! This place closed for a couple of months. They reopened at the end of December, and I'm so glad. It's super dog-friendly, and the drinks are good and cheap. Service is always great and I love the lights outside with the fire pits. read more

This is another one of those hidden gems. Nestled in the corner of a strip mall and dwarfed by the Monster Mini Golf next door, it's easy not to notice this perfect spot for chillin'. In the morning they serve European-style coffee (read especially flavorful) and breakfast-type foods. Much like Starbucks, but nothing like it, they serve craft coffees and things to enjoy with it. On Sundays, the chef takes it up a notch and does a brunch. On one of my visits, I got adventurous with my selection. I'm not a big strong coffee drinker but I had to try one of their Cortados. It was smoooooth and left a wonderful memory on my tongue. Once the morning is over this place takes a siesta until 4pm when they open again as a place to enjoy stronger drinks from a fully stocked bar. They also have craft beers and wine on tap. To complement the ambiance they feature talented local musicians, usually on the weekends. Even then, they have the music early enough that you can bring your parents to enjoy the acoustic or electric music together and they can still be in bed by 10pm. Love finding this local gem with live music! Haven't tried the food, but the drinks were good.

I've been looking for a good local coffee shop near my home for awhile, and haven't been so lucky. However Modern Brew was overall pretty good! I will say however, and the reason for one less star is that I took one sip from my coffee, noticed it felt light for a large and opened the lid to see it was about 75% full. I'll definitely be giving them more chances because the place was nice and the staff were fantastic, just a little disappointed that pour was so light. read more

But I had such a fantastic visit, I felt I needed to let the yelp community know so there's a steady stream of business. It's tucked away in a strip mall, and not easily seen from the road. My GPS (google/waze) directed me there just fine. It's a clean, modern interior, where everything is clean, simple, and spacious. I ordered the drip coffee and the Italian egg wrap. Coffee was smooth, wrap was hot, and delicious. My friend ordered the hummus board, which was served with lots of veggies. Later, we also shared the cheese and fruit board. All were yum. Service is spectacular. Food made to order in the kitchen. We even saw the young daughter running around, wiping down tables and pushing in chairs after guests left. I love the work ethic the parents are instilling in their daughter. Here's where the fifth star on one visit was earned. Monica, a massage therapist with a new practice, came to give complementary chair massages. COMPLIMENTARY. (I mean, please tip her for her tIme and efforts, but still.) it was a lovely service when one has been hunched over a computer alL day. TL;DR Amazing service and food. Plenty of seats wIth generous tables. Lots of outlets.. TVs that aren't blaringly loud but you could watch sports. Plentiful private lot parking. Oh. There's beer? Tons of parking, easy access, friendly service. They literally just opened this week. With a 10 beer/seltzer tap selection and additional wine selections as well as favorite coffee drinks, they seem to have all bases covered for a local hangout. Food is already on the menu...and that seems to be growing. Power outlets at the bar, and hooks for hand bags or coats are always a nice touch. Plenty of seating and super clean bathrooms. read more

Good addition to the area. Instead of giant chain coffee shops I always prefer to go to mom and pop ones. I am not a fans of big chain coffee shop like Starbucks or even franchise like Dutch bros. I go to monk&mongoose down on Lone tree and used to go to Spur when they were still at downtown Littleton. So to see this one is really something good. We need more craft coffee shops in the area.
