There were people in there working and plenty of people just hanging out. My buddy went for a simple two shots of espresso and I went with a staple iced oat milk latte with honey. The only reason I am giving this four stars instead of five was the quality of the honey. Not sure which sweetener they use, but it was a little too "synthetic" tasting for me. That said, my buddy loved his espresso, and I'm sure there are plenty of drinks on their menu that you would enjoy as well. If I went back, I would try something without honey. The Barista was friendly, I love the overall presentation at the shop, and parking was easy on the side streets. If I'm back in that part of Colorado, I'd go check it out again.

The Hawaiian motif found around the place is just about as Hawaiian as it gets. The general vibe of this shopping strip is already laid back so that's how it felt even inside. The interior is inviting with a couple prints from Hawaii. One picture reminded me of Kailua while another one is a picture of a lifeguard station. I ordered an iced MacNut Latte. Cute little coffee shop that really invokes a feeling of Hawaii in Denver. Love that local feel…read more Staff was friendly enough. I bought a bag of beans and a small drip coffee. I was hoping the small coffee would be free with purchase of bag, but I guess it wasn't. The bag of coffee wasn't cheap, so I was disappointed in how over-roasted the beans were. Adjusting grind levels and water temperature, there was always a bitterness or too watered down. The other flavors present in the beans, however, we're quite nice. I was hoping that they would have real kona coffee, but unfortunately their supplier suffered from disaster in Hawaii. Not going to blame them for that, but objectively speaking, if a Hawaiian coffee shop doesn't have Hawaiian coffee, then I am sad about it. At the same time, due to the circumstances, there is a compelling reason to throw some more support behind them.

Just wanted a place to work on my computer, and ultimately that's what I got. Enchanted Grounds is a cafe and game emporium. Like for real, they have such a huge selection of games. If you are into that, I truly love that for you! As far as the cafe is concerned, the best part was not paying Denver coffee prices! Only a few bucks for an iced coffee, god bless America. The staff weren't all that friendly or interested in talking to customers. It definitely gives off humble, rainy day coffeehouse vibes and that's not a bad thing. Bright, tacky colored walls, one guy was sleeping in one of the booths, a giant group of 80+ year olds at the big community table, and gamers galore on a Wednesday afternoon. It's low key, wifi was fine, coffee was fine. Nothing stood out for me personally. Considering it's close to an hour away odds of me coming back aren't high. I wish them the best!

For a MtG prerelease with very limited seats, for a set I was very excited for I called early in the week to understand how they handle prerelease events. Per their site, and Per the conversation with their employee, there wer no pre-event sign-ups, and a half an hour before the event they would start registering people. I asked if there was pre-queueing, and was told that happens, so I asked if showing up fifteen minutes early would give a good chance for making the limited seating. What can I say, I was excited. I invited my friends and we were all going to be there early. In total, five of us. Well, as I was pulling up 15 minutes before the event, I found out they had done a sign up, and before they were even supposed to be starting to register folks, they had run out of seats. And the answer to why they did exactly what they had told us they were not going to do? Management decided the night before to change things. I regret having suggested to my friends that we go there for the event. I regret that those friends purchased a draft box at above MSRP from this store in an attempt to save the evening. I regret that they decided to buy beverages there, as our evening had been ruined by Enchanted Grounds' management team. Will I be back? Maybe. Will I trust them on their event descriptions? Nope.
