Pastries - A glass display case showcases an assortment of pastries, cookies, and baked treats arranged on multiple shelves.

I simply don't end up going to a bad or horrible place when it comes to restaurants/coffee shops etc. Today I had another good find in one of the familiar neighborhoods so this compelled me to write a review for it. Mojo Coffee is unique and is one of a kind. It's an Ethiopian coffee shop with wide range of pastries with grocery store inside it. What a great idea! After spending our day on this beautiful Sunday by eating lunch at a nearby Greek restaurant and having a mid afternoon cocktail on Main Street in Louisville, my date and I were ready for a cup of decaf with a small pastry late in the afternoon (or early evening.) We had seen Mojo on our way numerous times on Hampden but we had never tried it so today (Jan 10, 2021) we finally decided to give it a try. And we LOVED every single bit of it from his hot chocolate to my decaf Americano to his cannoli to my raspberry cookie! If you are craving for some sweets you will find something to satisfy your craving at this shop. They also serve ice cream! The grocery store in the back of the shop is quite charming; it carries sets of coffee cups/mugs to kettles to breads to chairs/stools! This place is my go to for coffee and pastries now!! People there are nice and welcoming too.

Chocolate muffin and latte. Fireplace not on. Too many newspapers too.

Meh. Wasn't overly impressed. Nothing particularly delightful about their coffee nor the condiment station. Very limited selection and half empty bins were crammed on the skinny counter. No napkins were to be found anywhere in the shop either! Boo. The wifi was super slow and the shop was a mess. The barista didn't ask me if I was staying or not, but gave me my coffee in a to go cup anyway. Their food selection was very limited to cakes, sweet rolls and muffins so it's not Keto friendly at all. No breakfast or savory items to be had but I saw a blueberry muffin covered in mold and was grossed out. The chocolate ones looked okay but I took my life into my hands because I was hungry. What's a little food poisoning anyway? I was meeting with a work colleague and decided to sit by the faux fireplace that wasn't working. Uncomfortable seats or plastic tables were the choices du jour so I made the best of it. My colleague arrived but because of the excruciatingly slow Internet, we were unable to do any business and had to go elsewhere. More than likely I won't return.

I am so pleased to find this place. We used to live in Whittier by Whittier Cafe and when we heard Millete speak at a food justice summit, she was so inspiring. Then, we move to SE Aurora and are pretty sad about the soul-less suburbs. But lo and behold! An associate of Millete's, also from Ethiopia, has opened a coffee shop down here, too. It is beautiful. A great place to work and meet up. And Kaladi coffee. Amazing pastries and prices. And an entire market of food. I will be back here all the time.

Great little coffee shop attached to a Ethiopian mini market. They were very friendly and nice and they have the best little snacks -- coffee was great

They have ice cream now! It is Magill's and it says it is local Colorado. We will be back throughout the summer. Support Black businesses. The owner is amazing as usual, so kind.

Cool Ethiopian coffee shop. Cozy and comfortable, it has plenty of parking in the plaza. The indoor vibe is really nice. The staff is welcoming and nice, the menus is a bit small but it's your basic coffee drinks and some deserts/patties.

A wonderful addition to the neighborhood! This is a coffee shop AND an Ethiopian grocer. While I know nothing about Ethiopian ingredients, they DO carry Injera so I am very happy (Injera is a soft, Ethiopian flatbread.) Mojo, the coffee shop - very modern, upscale look. Nice sitting area with a TV and comfy chairs, along with regular tables and chairs. Their coffee is from the Denver-based Kaladi coffee, as well as an Ethiopian roast. They make most drinks with Kaladi's dark roast, I think that the Ethiopian is more of a medium roast and ordered for an espresso shot or cappuccino. BUT! I give Mojo a whole bunch o' stars because they carry about 5 sugar-free syrups! Woo hoo! On my second visit (in three days) I ordered a drip coffee with sugar-free white chocolate and it was so good, and fairly guilt free! So, if you want a good cup of coffee, a great place to work with a wonderful atmosphere - come on over to the south side of the metro area and visit Mojo's Coffee!

Work area with lovely sunlight.

This place is FANTASTIC! Seriously, skip Starbucks and come here. The atmosphere is open and welcoming, plenty of power outlets for laptops, and the prices on the drinks are unbeatable. They have milk options and food. Plus, in the back is a store of a variety of items including spices and kitchen ware. Sit by the fireplace and relax or study!

Wake & Take opened in 2020 and was built to be more than that a café with a European feel that doubles as a true community space. And honestly, that's exactly how it comes across when you're there. The coffee is so good. Smooth, rich, and consistent every time. It's the kind of place where you stop mid-sip and go "okay yeah... this is it." And the treats? Just as strong. Everything tastes fresh, not overly sweet, and actually complements the coffee instead of overpowering it. You can tell there's real intention behind what they're serving. What really makes it stand out though is the vibe. It's warm, a little lively, and feels like a place people actually gather not just grab and go. Unless you want. Whether you're meeting someone, working, or just hanging out, it fits. This is one of those places that turns into a regular without you even realizing it. The extended hours are a plus.

My 12-year-old son has recently gotten into Dungeons & Dragons, and for his birthday we reserved a table here knowing that Enchanted Grounds welcomes tabletop RPGs. I'll admit, I was a little hesitant about leaving my son and four of his friends somewhere new on their own for nearly four hours. Any concerns disappeared almost immediately. One staff member in particular, Paul, went above and beyond. The boys would not stop saying, "Paul is the GOAT." He checked in on them throughout their entire time there, helped them out whenever they needed it, and genuinely made them feel welcome. More importantly, he made me feel completely at ease as a parent. It's rare to find a business that not only creates a fun, inclusive space for kids but also earns the trust of parents so effortlessly. Enchanted Grounds Highlands Ranch has my respect and admiration. Thank you for giving my son one of the best birthday experiences he's ever had. We'll definitely be back.

For a MtG prerelease with very limited seats, for a set I was very excited for I called early in the week to understand how they handle prerelease events. Per their site, and Per the conversation with their employee, there wer no pre-event sign-ups, and a half an hour before the event they would start registering people. I asked if there was pre-queueing, and was told that happens, so I asked if showing up fifteen minutes early would give a good chance for making the limited seating. What can I say, I was excited. I invited my friends and we were all going to be there early. In total, five of us. Well, as I was pulling up 15 minutes before the event, I found out they had done a sign up, and before they were even supposed to be starting to register folks, they had run out of seats. And the answer to why they did exactly what they had told us they were not going to do? Management decided the night before to change things. I regret having suggested to my friends that we go there for the event. I regret that those friends purchased a draft box at above MSRP from this store in an attempt to save the evening. I regret that they decided to buy beverages there, as our evening had been ruined by Enchanted Grounds' management team. Will I be back? Maybe. Will I trust them on their event descriptions? Nope.
