Probably the worst acrylic nails I've ever received WAYYYY over priced for how horrible my nails looked after I got charged 65 dollars and my nails were thick, globby, and weren't even filed even!! I've been in town over 28-years, and Tiffany and crew have always been pleasant, efficient and provide great service. I always request a pedicure, but on the rare occasion when requiring a mani, it turns out beautifully. I made the horrible mistake of getting my eyebrows done here just so I save time by doing it all at the same place. They literally took a big chunk of my eyebrows out and now my face looks like I'm a completely different person. It has been absolutely traumatizing, and I hope that my eyebrows grow back in 4-5 months as they say, but even then it won't make up for the fact that it is absolutely ridiculous what they did when I only asked for a cleanup without touching the shape. I've lived in the area for 2 years now and have gone many times. The price is the best I've found, however, lately they have been pushing the extras way too much. I do consider myself a regular, and am disappointed that I was tricked into paying for a 30 minute message when I assumed it would be the regular 10 minutes and then they ask you if you want to add more after that. I did say No after and she continued, so what I thought was her finishing, was actually her charging me for an extra 10 minutes. They've figured out how to squeeze an extra $20 into your mani/pedi. Go in knowing what you want because now they just point to the two most expensive packages. Just be assertive. If you don't want to deal with that, then go to a place that doesn't have those sales tactics. Prices are great, but do keep in mind, you get what you pay for, it's not going to be the most amazing message, or paint, no trendy colors, limited gel colors. For pedicures I usually get the $25 package which includes a foot massage and a sugar scrub. After we leave here we always get a coffee nearby and then walk the pier. You come to Tiffany's Nails for a fantastic deal. You go across the street for a fantastic manicure. I think I got a shellac manicure, a pedicure, and a 20 minute neck massage all for under $40 which is incredible considering that shellac manicures alone usually cost around $30. But the shellac manicure was hardly a manicure--I wasn't trimmed or scrubbed, and the job was hastily done, polish was uneven. There wasn't a lot of variety for gel colors either. I look to yelp a lot to help me determine which place is best. The reviews here were consistent so i decided on this salon. Took my two college age daughters and was hoping it was going to be good. It started out great, they were very nice. But as I needed to pay I was told that it costs them $2 to use a credit card and that I need to go to the bank to get cash. ( no where does it say it is cash only and they even have the visa MasterCard stickers in window) I stated it was not something I could do (parking on weekends is impossible and I didn't feel I needed to accommodate them when I was the customer. I believe it was the owner, but she continued to tell me all I need to do is just go to the bank, it's easy. I stated I'm not going to the bank and they can just charge me the $2. Extremely disappointed and they kept trying to up sell all the little ridiculous add it's. Never going back and I don't recommend it. It was a shame as I spent $100 for disappointment. Their prices are fairly inexpensive, but in turn their work is also sloppy. While one lady began my gel manicure another asked if I wanted a neck massage which I declined, but she continued to push for me to get one, so I finally said okay. While the massage was good, I regret allowing her to push me into getting it, and walked out paying $22 for a gel manicure and $16 that massage. My French gel is decent, but nothing to rave abbut Overall the experience was okay, but probably wouldn't return because of their sloppy work and how uncomfortable they made me. read more

Do not go here! I am new to seal beach and decided to give this place a try. I was extremely disappointed with how they did my pedicure and gel manicure. I had to get my gel manicure redone at a diff place two days later. The worst part of all, is the cleanliness of their instruments. I walked away from this salon with an Infection on my feet. I heard to beware of this from nail salons, but hate that I had to suffer the consequences because of their lack of cleanliness on their part. From now on unless they autoclave their instruments to fully disinfect and sterilize will I be a client. I'm so disgusted with this place. I'm doing everyone a favor and telling you to run. Just had the worst pedicure ever!!!! My friend and I were hanging on Main Street and thought about pedicures after lunch. So we saw this place first UNFORTUNATELY! First off they try to sell you everything under the sun. The whole place was dirty! Worst massage ever. She was massaging me and draining the water at the same time ( like messing with the water) and by the way my massage was done with one hand because the other was in the water the whole time. It was just ok. I have been trying out different salons for mani-pedicures. I have tried about 5 or 6 recently. 1. they do not have spa chairs, they use a wooden tub and line it with plastic, 2. they took only about 40 minutes to do the entire job. 3. They didn't help me put on my sandals afterward, I had to do it myself, even though I asked. 4. it's hard to communicate with them (language barrier), 5. they spend a very short time doing everything, short amount of time on pushing back cuticles, short time filing, short time massaging neck, legs and hands/arms. They didn't charge much $24 for both, but I was not impressed, and wont be back. read more

I come here for a Gel Manicure and am always pleased. They pay attention to detail and my nails always last at least 2 weeks. You even get a little massage while they set under the light! Great deal for $20! I recently got a Gel Pedicure and was not too impressed. They don't have tubs so your feet go in a bamboo bucket. Because of this I think $25 is a little expensive. This place was horrible. My wife and I got mani/petis for our first anniversary. The silence in the room was awkward ie...no music, no feng shui sounds, and no talking. The women were half/assed in their work. They didn't even buff my nails for the manicure. And my wife's nails took forever to dry since there was no circulation in the room.
