Very disappointed in this place. When I asked to change the color because it didn't look good she simply painted over the two toes she had already done, instead of removing the nail polish. My eyebrows are so uneven after getting them waxed there, that I had to buy an eyebrow pencil for the first time in my life and learn how to fill in the massive under-arch she removed on just ONE eyebrow. Also- don't be shocked at a nail salon when you have to wait. You could make an appointment. And last...tipping. Yes you should tip. 20% is normal. If you can pay in cash it is helpful. If you want something basic, they are awesome. Super nice, good attention to detail, and can fit you in any time, decently priced (gel manicure about $35). Communication is a problem. I tried to get a gel manicure with heavier sparkles on the tip of my nail gradually going to nothing at the bottom, and after 5 minutes of explanation (heavy sparkle here, light here, much/little, many/few), it looks like I dipped the edge of my nails in gel. But the guy was really nice, so I said it was fine. I'll go back when I need a basic deal, for sure, but if I want something specific I'll go elsewhere. read more

I hate to give this place a bad review because Tiffany is awesome and even though I haven't lived in Boulder for 6 years, she still remembers me every time I visit. I got a gel manicure today and it was... ok. The tools my manicurist used were not clean and she just put them back in her box after mine with no sanitizing. Also, I'm used to having my hand under the light for the full minute and it was weird that she didn't do that. They already look like they're a few days grown out too. I know they can't get right up to the cuticle, but I've never had them look this grown out right after being done. My friend's mani/pedi was good. I would Not classify this place as a spa either- it is very basic and there are no signs with different types of pedicures or services. They basically have a regular pedicure and one with sea salt. The massage portion was only a few minutes long so that would be a downfall, but they do have some nice massage chairs I have never seen before. Mary did a really good job on my pedicure and a very good job on my fill. They do not do two services at once so it does take some time. My experience was almost the exact same as the other reviewers. They where rude and I can't believe these women are in the service industry. The pedi was fine and I mean just fine. She was too busy watching Americas Funniest Videos that she did a terrible leg massage. Then, when it was time for my manicure she didn't massage my arms at all and basically just put lotion on my hands. She also, only did one coat of polish. When I stated " only one coat" she said "yep". I will not return here and I would not recommend it for anyone else either. This salon is filthy. I went for a mani/pedi and while picking out my color the technician filled up a foot tub. When I walked over I asked if it was clean as she had taken off the cover where water shoots out (not the drain). I was told that it had just been clean and to put my feet in. I responded that it did not appear clean and was told that I was wrong and to put my feet in. At that point I noticed some unidentified solid bits floating in the water along with a huge clump of hair like you pull out of a shower drain. Again I said that the tub was dirty. Again I was told that I was wrong and to put my feet in. Needless to say I did not put my feet in the filthy water. I am not only upset that the facility was so dirty, but also because of how horribly the technicians (there were three telling me that the tub was fine) dealt with the issue. No one offered me a clean tub. No one apologized for the strange floating bits or the hair. No one said anything except that the clearly filthy tub was clean and to put my feet in. read more

Wonderful experience every time I visit (I've been a customer for over 5 years now)! Great service! The shelac lasts for over 2 weeks, which is longer than any other salon I've been to. I try to always make an appointment, which assures me prompt service, however I have, on occassion, just dropped in and have either had prompt service or a very short wait. I have ingrown toenails and won't let anyone else trim my toenails! The waxing services are great, as well and lasts for several months! These ladies are professional, thorough and very cordial! Great service from Tiffany's. I can't remember if my nail technician was named Tina or Nina but she was great. Educated me and didn't talk too much or too little. Was quick and wonderful. Very clean. Haven't done acrylics in a while so I'll see how they stand up over time and update. Only reason why it's a 4 is because I found some glue under then when I left buuuuut that could be done from me not cleaning them enough once I washed w a brush and I got it off very quickly and I have a very minor dimple of one. It was my first time there, made an appointment at 4, of course they didn't take me till 4:30. I liked the nails but they started cracking up and peeling NEXT MORNING. I came back and they fixed it (nobody even said sorry), once I got back home one of nails peeled off again. So there is 3rd day of my nails for 60$, 4 nails with no top coat already. Extremely disappointed! I got a mani a pedi and an eyebrow wax and was not pleased with any of it! I got everything done only 2 days before going on vacation, my toe nail polish started chipping not 24 hours after I had gotten them painted, and I wasn't doing much at all except for walking around the house and packing! I ended up having to re-paint my toenails myself before going on my trip. I got gel nails done, now, it's pretty difficult to mess gel nails up, but somehow they did. They painted extremely far away from my cuticle, so I had this huge gap of bare nail between the paint and my cuticle, I mean HUGE! Also while I was on vacation, doing nothing but lounging at the pool and swimming in the ocean, my gel nails started to chip as well, I have gotten gel nails before and went camping and they held up better than these did. I also received an eyebrow wax that was very sloppy and I ended up having to wax, pluck and shape them again myself after realizing how badly she had messed them up. On top of all of this, the whole thing felt rushed and the woman was not very nice at all, seemed like she would have rather been anywhere else but there, she kept pausing her work on me to look at her phone, AND reply! extremely unprofessional. When I walked into this place, I felt ignored and judged even though I made an appointment for a full set acrylic with gel. After I waited for a girl to finish, which I wasn't upset about, I was brought to the table to get started. At first, the lack of music in this place didn't bother me, but as I sat there and didn't get engaged conversation from anyone, i felt like I could've fallen asleep. After my nails were finished, I could tell they were too thick in certain places, and some nails didn't match but I was just happy to have nails again. I left the salon without any cuticle oil or even lotion, just left with nails and some scrap polish on my fingers. After ONE DAY the gel on three of my nails cracked, and then one of them fell off leaving my natural nail broken and bleeding. (I know this comes with having acrylics, but after three days, I shouldn't experience this) Then, almost a week after I got them done, they all fell off besides my thumbs. I came in asking for a pedi then 15 minutes into my pedicure I asked for a manicure also, the manager turned me away saying they had appointments. I tried Tiffany's for the first time last week. Both my mani and pedi chipped and started peeling within 5 days. So I would not recommend this place. Also - they quoted me $50 over the phone for a gel mani and regular pedi but I was charged $55. I asked about the difference and they denied quoting me that. But I know for sure they said $50 bc I remember thinking what a good deal it was. So I also just felt that was a little strange. I would gladly pay even $70 if it wouldn't chip. This place was horrible. I would never recommend it to anyone. They destroyed my natural nails to the point I had to go have acrylics the next day. The man that did my manicure had horrible hygiene and when my mother and I were about to pay he told me the total was $50 and then he charged my card $57 and when I said confronted he told me that's how much it was. I went to Tiffany's because I got a gift certificate for Christmas. I was leaving for Mexico in two days. By the next day, my nails were completely chipped, then the next day, the polish came off in pieces throughout the day. I don't know why the polish would do that; maybe it was old, or she didn't dry my nails well, or she put too much oil on them. I really have no idea. I had an over zealous toe nail/cuticle trimming at Tiffany's with my pedicure. It was my first time there. She (don't know the lady's name) actually drew blood in 3 places and i limped around in pain for the next couple of days It was an unpleasant experience. I think Im even a little traumatized from the aggressiveness and would certainly be too scared to ever go back.
