Our small business does not have high demands. All we want is working internet that is not exceedingly slow. Tierzero's slogan is "no hassle phone and data service" but it has been a hassle since day one. Why am I paying THREE HUNDRED dollars a month for 3 mbps up/down when Time Warner can give me 7 for only $90 a month? Because I have a more reliable connection? Nope. Because I receive superior customer service? Nope. Because I was a fool to sign a two-year contract with this awful company who made false promises? YEP. I hate this contract. We are flushing a lot of money down the drain every single month. Spare yourself the frustration. Oh - and if your office happens to move 5 miles away, you have the pleasure of paying a previously-undisclosed $750 move fee, plus pay up the a** for the data on a temporary router they provide for the month it takes them to set it up. Our small business has had a horrible experience with Tierzero from day one. Terrible internet connections, super slow, often no internet at all, and very staticky/poor phone reception. Their customer service is abysmal and they slap you with fees that they've never disclosed before. Read the contract - it doesn't contain any language promising to hold up their end of the bargain. And it's impossible to get out of the contract. Save yourself the money and the headaches. read more

THE WORST PROVIDER EVER. Our phone lines have constant interruption, on numerous occasions I've wasted hours of my day on the phone with support trying to resolve the issues. It took over a week to resolve the disaster of switching our service over (we were forced into a contract that was initially supposed to be month to month because Tierzero bought out our old provider, then a day before our former services shut off date were told we were actually required to sign a year long contract if we didn't want our service to go down permanently.) We were told that after our initial issues they would switch us over to a more reliable platform, but we've still had interruption. We've lost business as a result of not being able to call customers and customers calling in only to receive a busy signal. I'm currently on hold with support for THE SECOND time in ONE DAY because our fax line has now gone down and we are unable to receive orders via fax, and they just dropped the call. Yesterday I had to call as well because we were unable (again) to receive calls and was told to CALL THEM BACK in AN HOUR. I honestly suspect that the majority of the positive feedback on this page is fake because I have no idea how anyone would want to trust their business services to this company. read more

I work for a company who's Internet connection is absolutely critical. After a series of bad experiences with some of the larger providers, I decided to take a friends advice and go with Tierzero. After about a year now I can can honestly tell you that there really is a difference in service compared to some of the other company's I've dealt with. First and foremost; they answer the phone when I call. Believe it or not, it is a real-live human being too. I've had outages in the past were I simply could not get through to anyone. I had no idea what was going on. That is simply not acceptable to me. With Tierzero, I can call them and they are already looking into the problem and offer to call me back with a status update. I had one instance where they actually called me to let me know that they've fixed a problem before I even know I had a problem. I've recently moved all of my phone service over to Tierzero. So far the service has been great. I sat down with their engineers and came up with the best solution for my needs and installation was effortless. I had their T1 service for about 3 years. The service is ok but the issue comes when you try to cancel their service. When you request cancellation through their customer service department they refer you to their account manager. The account manager will try to convince you to keep their service. If that does not work then he/she will tell you to call back tomorrow to confirm the cancellation. When you call back and leave a message no one calls you back. I have been trying to cancel for the past 4 weeks with no success. read more

The worst company ever! Our phones have been down more than they have been working. I literally had to assign an employee the full time position of managing the endless support tickets. Every complaint has been met with excuses, promised but undelivered follow up. The kicker was being told I will just need to pay more or do without my fax service. Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews, TierZero is about getting you locked into a 3 year contract. They will charge you the full amount for 2 years no matter what happens and then 50% of the third year. If you need reliable internet, look elsewhere. After a year of subpar and slow internet, I finally just gave up and paid for 2 years of service I will not use to go with someone else. They were completely unwilling to work with me on a settlement at cancellation. They even admitted their service could not compete with what others were offering me and still was unwilling to work with me at all. Simply put, this is the worse of the worse and avoid them at all costs. read more

I am happy to give this company FIVE STARS. They deserve at least another half of a star because they have done an amazing job for my company a number of time. Their service is solid, reliable and consistent. We have proven VoIP over most of their connections and they are able to reach remote locations in very short amounts of time. After several frustrating experiences with our old provider, we decided to check into finding a new option for our phone and data needs. Our business is very internet dependent and my first concern was that they are not a national brand and I was afraid that if something happened they might not have the resources to keep us going. I can tell you that after three and a half years we couldn't be happier. We had a lot of special requests while setting up our system and it was never a problem. They are always there to take our calls, and they handle our requests with courtesy and professionalism. In my opinion, phone and internet service is a commodity, problems are inevitably going to happen no matter who you are with, and what really makes a company stand apart from others is their customer care. We received horrible service from Tierzero, both quality and in customer service. They didn't give us full notice on the terms of agreement when we signed up with them so we didn't know what the service entailed and what we were paying for until we looked into it ourselves later on so we were being charged on things we did not even know we were paying for. We had constant problems with the connection and we found out a lot about the deal we had no idea on when we were trying to figure out what had happened. Their customer service was of no use, and never helped us, making things difficult every step of the way and slowing down the process of solving any of the problems they gave us. They have been the worst providers, sneaking us into paying more and not giving us proper service. read more
