It arrived as essentially half a cabbage--about the size of a brain--which made it a little awkward to eat. That said, the flavors more than made up for the presentation. The gochujang barbecue sauce was rich and slightly sweet with just the right amount of heat, and the roasted oyster mushrooms complemented the cabbage perfectly. Overall, Sombramesa delivered a fantastic meal with creative, high-quality food and excellent service. Thankfully, Amber stepped in and completely changed the tone of the experience. She was attentive, kind, and genuinely seemed concerned about making things right. She asked us to give Noble Roots another chance, and because of how well she handled the situation, we will.
