Beerrific lunch at Eagle Creek brewing! Very quiet on a Friday afternoon. BEER I opted for a flight of beer. In general their beer is malty, and low on hops. Some prefer it this way and some like the hops. GEORGIA TEA PARTY was my favorite. It's a sweet tea amber ale. Their SPOT TAIL BLONDE is their best seller and I'll admit it was a good, full bodied blonde ale, and my second favorite beer here. The STATEABORO BLUE is their blonde mixed with blueberry puree. It was fruity for sure. The PRALINE BROWN was a nice nutty brown. The TORMENTA was super fruity and tasted more like a fruit punch than a beer. It was my least favorite. Good beer but would appreciate some less malty options given my personal taste. I was surprised there wasn't even one IPA brewed and on tap during my visit (IPAs and Hazy IPAs are all the rage right now). FOOD HUGE menu for a brewery. Beer quality is important but you won't stay, or even stop if they don't have food to accompany your homemade barley sodas. I gave an extra star for their food menu. I ordered the brisket sandwich. Tender brisket topped with bacon and cheese. The bun was good too. I'd order this again! I asked for side of fried pickle chips. They delivered spears instead of chips (which is another option) and I prefer the chips. I found the breading thin for the 1inch spears. The buffalo ranch sauce was too thin. I'd recommend asking for plain rach that's not watered down with buffalo sauce. KEGS This is a college town and it shows. Empty kegs line the back wall. Much better beer selection than your mass produced lagers for college parties. ENVIRONMENT Cozy taproom. The seating is about twice the size of the stage, which is presumably thumping on weekend evenings. The beer production area is in full view from the seating area so you are immersed in the sights and SMELLS when they are brewing. Very enjoyable environment.

This was a nice brewery! The staff was really friendly and my light beer hit the spot!

Brewery that serves food in this college town. This was my first visit to this establishment. At first glance, both the inside and outside are a bit unkept, almost befitting of a small college town brewery. One orders their food and drink at the bar and pays for it at that time. I ordered a flight, which consist of four of their beers and what appeared to be 5 ounce glasses. The flight was quite expensive at $10.25! For dinner, I ordered a Shrimp Po boy with side of French fries and side of broccoli slaw. Sandwich was decent, but with only five small shrimp on this huge roll it was most underwhelming. The fries were of the frozen variety and were undercooked (terrible). The broccoli slaw was pretty good except for the chunks of dry Ramen that was on top as it was simply raw Ramen instead of being toasted. I probably would not return, which is unfortunate because their beer was actually pretty good. The food was just not that great and the place itself is a bit grungy and unkept.

Highly recommend- nice atmosphere with music and a pretty venue. Ordered the shrimp and grits, which is advertised as a Georgia best Grits 2018 winner: Honestly, the grits would make it worth the drive- great balance of salt/creaminess/meat ratio. At first, I was worried there would be too much liquid based on the container, but once it was mixed, it was the perfect amount. A good portion for sure, and would definitely return. Staff are also friendly, highly recommend.

I believe this is the only brewery in the area, but that's not a bad thing. I am typically pretty skeptical of going somewhere I have never heard of but then again, if you don't go how will know if you will like it or not? The beers here seem to be well made, which is awesome because you don't have to worry about quality. My favorite was the barrel aged brown ale. The original brown ale is really solid but there was something about being aged in a bourbon barrel that really resonated here. If they still have that sweet tea beer... get it. It's really mild and that sweet tea flavor presents itself in the finish. I ordered a burger from here too as I was hungry. Got the brussels sprouts as a side and everything I had was very good. My only gripe is that the base burger is $9.00 and seems a tad pricey but was good from a quality and taste perspective. If it was a tad larger it would be a good value at $9. Would I go back? I sure would. Being the only brewery in town I would want to support them and try out their new brews. As for food, I wouldn't not eat here again but depending on circumstances may opt for food elsewhere.

Ordered food today via Uber eats due to the fact that I'm chaperoning a bunch of kids on a basketball team. I ordered the shrimp pro boy and onion rings! Both got here super hot and fresh! So delicious! And then I saw an extra box, and it was a jumbo pretzel! And said "Enjoy" with a smiley face! I've been so stressed trying to keep these girls from going crazy, and this was such an amazing experience. So thank you to whoever gave me the pretzel! Totally made my night!

Very chill atmosphere which makes delicious burgers. Also you can see the brewing process of beer being done in the brewery. Nice local place with great drinks and food I definitely recommend if you are driving through or live near by.

My son had the Luther Burger which is a bacon cheeseburger between two Krispy Kreme donuts...and he ate the whole thing. I had the GATA GATA shrimp and it was delicious. I did a flight of the non IPA beers (not a fan of IPA) and they were good. They had a good selection of both IPA, non-IPA and a few sours.

We stopped here to use the destination charger for our Tesla. The people who work here are super friendly and just all around a nice crew. Menu looks AMAZING we ordered a flight of random four beers for $8.50 and some smoked Gouda mac and cheese bites to start with. We will definitely come back to eat, charge, and enjoy the staff. Looks like they have trivia on Thursday nights from 7-9 with prizes. Bottomless mimosas on Saturday and Sunday for $15

    Locally brewed Blueberry IPA. Tasty

Hmmmm this is our second time here and it probably will be the last. Good place to sip on some suds with friends but the food is hit and miss. The first time we were here the burgers were great. This time not so much.

Hops on Fire sits just a short detour off I‑95, close enough to be convenient but still tucked away from the highway rush. I would never suggest driving and drinking, of course, and over the span of three hours I limited myself to one big beer and one small beer, which was more than enough for a relaxed stop. The inside space is genuinely comfy, warm without trying too hard, and they offer outside seating as well for anyone who prefers the open air. I found a quiet corner next to an outlet, set up my laptop, and spent a good stretch of time writing Yelp reviews and mapping out the next leg of my journey. It had that easy, unhurried rhythm that makes a place feel like a small haven on a long drive. Plenty of locals drifted in and out, giving the room a steady but never overwhelming pulse. The beer was pleasant and well‑kept, though the menu leans heavily toward IPAs. I enjoyed the one I chose, and the peanut butter beer made for a fun little dessert at the end of the night. Still, I would love to see a solid Pilsner on the board next time, something crisp to balance out all those hops. [Review 1639 of 2025 - 879 in Georgia - 25187 overall]

A great selection and variety of styles. Not just hazy IPAs, but a couple great WCIPAs and a wide range of other offerings. The bartender, Christian, was a pleasure and very friendly. Next, the food. A small food truck in back, but run by someone who obviously cares about his offerings. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, and he's taken the care to craft recipes that go beyond small brewery food options. I didn't catch his name, but my compliments to the chef. Finally, my pet peeve - family friendly amenities. There were a variety of games and food options for kids. And there was also a changing table in both restrooms! It should be standard to have changing tables available for dads, but in my experience that hasn't been the norm. Thank you to the owners for making families feel welcome at your brewery. All in all, this is one of the best breweries I've been to, and that is saying something. By far, the best brewery on the island.
