leaving bad reviews makes me sad but I was very disappointed in the customer service at this location. I dropped my wedding dress off to get cleaned and preserved...they said it would take one to two weeks. The app first said it would be ready on 4/9, then 4/16, and when I called on 4/16 (bc the app hadn't updated) they said 4/19. Called 4/19 (bc the app still said 4/16) and it still wasn't ready. Called 4/21 told them this was the 3rd time I was calling, that nobody can give me a straight answer and the app still hadn't updated. They said to call the next day in the morning to talk to the manager. Called three times asking for a manager and apparently they are always on lunch or only stay for a few hours and leave. literally all they did was make excuses. Decided after that I was calling one last time and that I don't care what state my wedding dress was in that I was going to pick it up and it needed to be ready. What do you know shockingly my dress was ready for pick up after I called twice in an hour looking for the manager and telling how ridiculous their service was and that there is no manager to help. This is a really nice place to get your clothes professionally cleaned. They have a 24 hour pick up and payment option for great service to accommodate a busy schedule. Everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful and I am so happy to have my bedding cleaned and ready for when I switch to my summer blanket! My clothes are always like new and smell great! Price was very affordable, about $14 for a suit consisting of a blazer, pants, and white shirt. I will be using Tide for my future dry cleaning needs for sure! read more

Coupon not credited yet again. We are really getting frustrated with Tide. Been coming here for several years now. We like the orange drop-off bag and convenience, but regardless if we drop off through the drive-through or in person and explicitly tell the person on duty that there is a coupon that should be applied to our order, it's a 50/50 toss up if that happens. We are ALWAYS told that it'll be taken care of and they simply put the coupon inside our bag (which is coded to our account). This past time, I ended up picking up and absentmindedly not verifying that the coupon was applied until I got home and sure enough. NOT! We'd been told that we could ask for a quick-ticket upon drop off where they'd actually check it in with the proper count of pants, shirts, etc. and the coupon but when we tried, that resulted in an argument that no ticket was required beforehand. Not sure if this is a training issue or too busy, but upon drop off I'm patient enough to wait to ensure that things are done properly especially when we're dropping off a dozen or so pieces and are assured that it'll get applied. Follow up Review ...In Oct 22 I dropped off my Vest for an easy sew my Buckle in place it kept slipping out of place. I gave written verbal instructions to what was needed to be done. In Nov 22 I picked up my order the price was $49.76. The Manager said We don't make the prices we just send it out. I said your prices aren't posted which is Illinois law. I asked for District Manager he name was Terra she spoke to me in Dec 22 she said I was charged so much because the Buckle was replaced. I told her that's not what I asked them to do verbally nor written. And why couldn't someone call me for $49.76 that's ridiculous. Yet Terra couldn't help me and said someone would called me. A week later the Manager called me left a VMail saying price was now $39.00. I called Terra in Jan 23 she said the Marketing Company was gonna call me. I told her no one called me. I use Tide constantly for wash and fold and I love it!! I do not have a washer/dryer in my apartment, so for it is seriously the best! I've had one occurrence, out of the many many times i use them, where I asked for non-scented and my clothes came back with scented laundry soap. Other than that, it takes about two days, sometimes sooner, to complete and I use the drive through to pickup my clothes. Seriously, this is laundry made easy. Tide is super convenient to drop off and pick up my laundry and dry cleaning and they will wash and clean anything. They are so nice to work with and very professional. Your clothes come out clean with no issues. I felt it was important to write a review because I was wary after the 2 1/2 star rating. Then when I read the reviews it's people who didn't get to use their coupon. Is that ridiculous? I was reading the reviews to see if the clothes come out clean. We have been trying to use the 24 hour pick up service but there is a disconnect somewhere. We have stated with every drop off that we need the clothes put in a locker. We are always told that it will not be a problem and that it is in our notes. Somehow they never make it to a locker. We have even called on our way to pick up knowing we aren't going to make it before closing just to double check that our clothes are in the locker and if they are not we ask that they please put them there. When we arrive, not in there. We have spoken to managers and still nothing. Some employees recognize us and as they take our clothes at drop off say "locker, right?" But yet they're still never put in one. I'm at a loss and can't figure out how this can be so difficult. If you REALLY need 24 hour pick up this place is not a good option. read more

Called me to say sorry busy between this location an new location .. First off if you can't take care of current customer's how are you gonna have 2 locations. He was very admit that they have been in the industry for over 35years an couldn't understand how clothing could be damaged.. My thought was I'm sure there is new associate's who haven't been in industry so mistakes can happen.. Where this went sour was after waiting a week with no response he calls to tell me drop off my damaged clothing an wait for response, due to he couldn't guarantee me a time he would be able to meet with me.. Next step was I called Corporate only to find out Ruthej was a owner so that is who they emailed, after Ruthej calling a 2nd time on a Monday nothing had changed other that now he offered me a 3 hour window 11-2pm on Tuesday so took him up on it. I'm in absolute shock! Last week I was advised they don't have a record of the shirt I dropped off with a pair of pants. This, as they handed me the pants! Today, I'm hearing that my entire order, dropped off 7 days ago (at least 10 items!) can't be located! What?! I followed their system; used their bag; accommodated their large scan stickers on my clothes; paid their high prices; and this is an acceptable situation? I have been going to this location for more than 4 years, I never had a problem Until last week, This location has other staff members who are great, helpful and humble. But, recently, I had bad experience with Ms. Amber and Ms. Alexi. "UNFORTUNATELY, WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO THE SERVICE, WE REFUSE WASHING YOUR CLOTHES FOR 0.59 CENTS". I was told above by store manger Ms. Alexi, I already reported her to the corporate. I had a worst experience with Ms. Amber working there as well. Note: The promotion coupons clearly states $6 off (explain the expiry date as well). But, if you go 1 month before, still get refused to the service. Or if you ask for their business card, the store manager would comment, "oh, so you are going to report me to the corporate, I am going to talk to the owner and we would refuse dry cleaning for you for 0.59 cents", we are not making any profit from you. When I was giving them more than $400 per month business, than everything was perfect. When I started using coupons which they are marketing for promotions purposes, the manager Ms. Alexi and Ms. Amber started having problems. I like to live on the edge, so I don't dry clean clothes that say "dry clean only." I figure that as long as you're careful, that label is mostly just a scare tactic. So, for maybe the fourth time in my life, I needed to go to the dry cleaners since I was unable to remove an impossible grease stain. Tide Dry Cleaners is unlike any dry cleaners I've ever seen. It's bright, clean, and the employees were two young guys that looked like they should be selling sweaters at the GAP, not cleaning sweaters from the GAP. They were very nice and friendly and took the time to explain their membership points program. I don't remember any of the details, but it was free so I signed up. They seem to offer a lot of options here - open 24/7, lockers, membership points, personal Tide dry cleaning bags, and a ton of services I didn't know existed. Plus, your first visit is 50% off. I paid $3 (with my discount) to dry clean a jacket hoodie here, and they got the stain out. There was no price list posted when I visited, but $6 to clean a hooded sweatshirt seems a little steep. The service is awesome here though, and I'd use Tide Dry Cleaners again. It might get a little expensive if you dry clean frequently though. read more

They say the clothes where poorly made and that's why it got damaged When I asked why did you wash the clothes if you know they are poorly made and will likely damage? There response , nothing 2. When I asked what are you going to do to remedy this situation? Their response .... We are going to do nothing. When I asked the staff for a contact number for the manager... Well we don't have one he just visits What's so distressing is that I told them that the top was my kids prize possession, that she worked several months to save the $90 to get the top. And it's just not right to say you are not going to do anything about it There response ... Well we are not going to do anything about it, it was a poorly made top and it makes no difference that your kid saved the money to buy the top. From the managers perspective it's our fault for giving them the top to clean This was not an isolated incident, they damaged a sweater by causing the sleeves to rip, and charged me $10 for the privilege of having them repair it. Plus - my usual dry cleaners isn't good at getting stains out. This place got a stain out that I pointed out to them. Minus - This is my first time using them. I pulled up into the drive thru behind 2 unoccupied cars to pick up my dry cleaning. I waited for 3 or 4 minutes. No one came out. I decided to go in. There were only 2 customers being served but at least 6 people working there. I got my dry cleaning, got into my car, and had to back out of the drive thru since the car in front of me was still unoccupied and another car pulled up in the other lane. Nice idea, poor execution. - My regular dry cleaners, which is 100 yards away from this place, charges 50 cents less per shirt. I didn't really see a difference in quality except for the stain they got out. Bottom Line - I think I'll stick with my regular dry cleaners. read more

I've always been very happy with the job they've done on my shirts, and will continue to bring my nicer dress shirts to them, but I wanted to throw out a word of caution about bringing ties to them. They pressed the hell out of a Burberry tie, which creased it (and thereby destroyed the rolled edges ties are supposed to have), as well as greatly compressed the lining and imprinting a visible seam line along the front of the tie. They did offer to steam it, which helped some, but there is still damage done to the tie. read more

He offered to come pick up the shirts from my house to fix the issue. I appreciated his offer but I decided to decline his offer. Took a pair of suede boots to be cleaned. They were totally wrecked. Color faded, stretched and the insides looked like boiled wool. Staff were very friendly and referred me to the Manager Ashley. She was very good at saying the right thing yet did NOTHING. It took me 5 MONTHS to get the boots replaced. I contacted the Head of Franchising for Tide and eventually the boots were replaced. Awful awful service. These people should not be running a business. Heard of numerous complaints never being resolved. If you use this service then hope you never have a complaint.... read more

I brought some general work attire here to be cleaned (2 suits, 12 shirts, 5 pants), my experience was not ideal but the location was quick and convenient before I relocated to Wisconsin for work. Pros: -Clean and lively atmosphere -Prompt service (in side and time to get my clothes) -My suits turned out great -I like the clip they put on pants so that they don't slide off the hanger Cons: -Wrinkles in my 2 of my shirts -Stain on 1 shirt and 1 pair of pants -Staff was high school age, not a concern in terms of handing my clothes at the counter but they may be the ones cleaning the clothes which may explain my subpar experience. After living in the Oswego area for ~8 years I have used about half a dozen dry cleaners and have never had a problem with wrinkles or stains. If this is a convenient location for you give it a try otherwise look for a more local/family location, in my experience those have always had the best quality cleaning. read more

Tide was my go-to place since it opened. The quality and convenience was always worth the extra cost. As of late, I noticed a decline in the quality of the dry cleaning. For example, I had some white shirts that needed a little extra effort to get the collars clean, but to no avail. I took them to a different dry cleaners and they came out looking like new. The staff was always professional and courteous, until recently. I have noticed on numerous occasions that the staff spends more time looking at their phones than serving their customers. Please remove your earbuds before having a conversation with me. The last straw was this week. I was emailed a buy-one-get-one free coupon for Black Friday. I printed it and presented it while dropping off 6 items. The staff informed me that they were unaware of the promotion. I then showed them the coupon on my phone and went as far as to click on the "find a store near me" button embedded in the email showing this location. The staff stated that they don't participated in these promotions, yet they have honored my 20% off coupons in the past. No apology, no explanation. The Tide website states that they are committed to "unrivaled customer service." "At Tide, our customer service representatives take pride in their work.. willing to put forth the extra effort to ensure the best customer service for our customers."
