Salmon with wild rice and veggies loaded with lingonberry sauce

This was probably our 3rd time eating dinner at Thyme. The first time we went and remembered the Whitefish corn chowder being so good so we tried it again, however it was good but not great this time. Nothing is included with the entrees, so you are paying separately for soup or salad, what is inexcusable is no bread service is offered, if you pay $38 for an entree a piece or two or a small roll should be included. I had the Grouper special it was solid, my off had the baked Salmon with lingonberry sauce, which overpowered the Salmon which was not that great of quality. Service was prompt and the place has a nice atmosphere. The food should be better for the $ they are charging, and they should at least offer a bread service. 3.5 for food, 3 for value, 4 for service and ambience.

Here's what Thyme did well: They sure know how to present a plate. Our waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable. I appreciated the variety on the menu. The location? Adorable! What they could have done better: Though the food combinations sounded delightful the flavor wasn't fully there. My pasta dish with burrata fell flat. We had to wait a long time before our dishes came out. Would I go back? I'd definitely give it another shot and try something else on the menu!

Thyme has a modern vibe, feels cozy, and the menu is the perfect size offering creative vegetarian, seafood, poultry and beef entrees. There's a small bar with seating for 4, a smallish sized dining room, outdoor seating and a neighboring wine bar (Twelve Eleven), which is a chic spot for meet ups and wine tasting. No reservations accepted and this is a very popular spot, so arrive early. Would definitely recommend for a delicious meal and casual chic vibe!

It's our favorite restaurant in Door County! 45 minute wait for a table but you get to wait at the wine place next door. Nothing wrong with that! Dinner never disappoints. Indoor and outdoor seating, casual upscale vibe. Can't say enough good things about it, and service is always excellent. Please don't tell anyone else about it...

Amazing place ... a wonderful, modern restaurant; bar that offers sandwiches and small bites, and outdoor seating areas. I have been wanting to go here every time I've passed it and finally did - not to be disappointed! I had the most wonderful salad with perfectly cut julienne pear sticks, door county cherries and pecans, and linguine with sun-dried tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. My friend had sushi and an Asian vegetarian dish. We of course had to share a dessert. Note that the restaurant does not take reservations and the restaurant is not that big. After dinner, we sat outside on Adirondack chairs in front of the fire pit and listened to a live music, then went for a stroll in the garden. I do not give 5 star reviews lightly - but this place totally deserved it and I cannot wait to go back! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Love the dog friendly outdoor seating and ambiance! A little more upscale food and drink options but still at a decent price and still casual. A "nice" night out with doggie. The wine bar outdoor seating area looked really fun too.

Open for breakfast, so we gave it a try. Jessica, server, was excellent. Very attentive and had a great attitude. It was actually difficult to pick out a dish, so many great offerings. The cook on the dish was just right. Plated well and seasoned perfectly. Glad we gave it a try and will be back to try some of the other offerings.

Lovely caterer and restaurant - one of the only open places for dinner in the dead on a Wisconsin winter. Lots of vegetarian options, the crème brûlée was especially yummy. The seating was a little cold by the windows (garage doors) as they have a completely open air space in the summer which must be so lovely. But we were comfy in the center area. Super extensive wine menu.

We have frequented many restaurants and I'm a firm believer that this is one of the top restaurants in Door County.

Usually I would say when trying to do too much it's a recipe for disaster but Klaud's has pulled it off. The black and gold interior with the dark wood floor gives off a very upscale vibe but not too fancy to stop in with the family for a pizza or two. The BBQ sauce pizza was our favorite of the 2 we had but the marinara pizza was great too! The other great part is they have Coke, Pepsi and Dr Pepper products available. A rarity on the peninsula. The one question we had was the 16" pizza didnt seem like 16" but it was still delicious and filling. Highly recommended. And a special shoutout to the kind staff that took care of us so well! ... Went back again a few nights later to try the thicker crust. I would prefer the thin crust but both were delicious. The lasagna soup was a real treat also. Not what I expected but even better and super filling. Ended up not having room to finish our pizza but we found out it is still good eaten cold the next day!

Chicken salad was a bit onion forward but the cheese and croissant provided a welcome counterpoint. Soup was nice and warm on a winter day. Service is good, order at counter and they bring it to your table. Ambiance is casual...dark wood, soaring ceiling.
