What a wonderful find! After years of driving by this place halfway between Ephraim and Sister Bay, we stopped in today and were richly rewarded. There's a ton of seating inside, upstairs as well as outside. The decor inside is fun and there's lots of board/card games to occupy young ones while you wait for the food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the main thrill was the food! We were there for breakfast so we had the amazing, huge serving of avocado toast on sourdough bread. And the decadent, delicious crab cakes Benedict! So good!! We couldn't leave without taking some awesome bakery with us. Fresh baked, warm cinnamon rolls and a pecan sticky bun. I ordered the Crab Cakes and Artichoke Flatbread. HUGE crab cakes, nice flavor and cooked perfectly. The Flatbread was very tasty. Presentation on both was very appealing. My companion ordered the Chicken Wrap w/Truffle Fries. Great flavors in the wrap and the truffle fries were hot and delish. Prices were OK, and considering how much food we got, I'd say pretty good. Have been to this place many times in Door County and love it. Their coffee is top notch. Try the Dubai Cold Brew. It's the best coffee ever. They have good breakfast sandwiches. This was my first time at Sip and it was such a treat. The decor is eccentric, colorful, and fun. The food and drinks were very good - I had the Bloody Mary and an Espresso Martini. For food I had their crack burger on special - great tasting burger just very messy. The truffle fries were delicious with it. Met up with a couple friends for an early lunch. The place is super cute inside. For breakfast/lunch you order at the register. They also have a water station with lemon. The cashier was knowledgeable about GF/celiac. He indicated the fries/tots do not have a dedicated fryer. I ordered the potato waffle with sour cream. He mentioned there was already some fruit on the side but it was an orange slice and strawberry. I would have ordered an extra side. The orange juice was really good and the food was decent. My dad had the burger special and he said it was pretty salty, but my friends all liked their food. Would like to come back to try more things! Coffee Review! Stopped into Sip for a morning pick-me-up. The inside has a retro vibe with tons of vibrant colors and patterns. They have quite a bit of inside and outside seating to enjoy. While I only got a latte and chai, their food menu sounded very intriguing. I got the Honey Lavender Latte and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The chai was very spiced over being sweet. This is a fairly new trendy spot. Opened at least a couple years ago. You order at the counter inside & then seat yourself. They have plenty of seating inside., on their back and front patio, and some comfy couch seating on the side. We had brunch there.. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the chicken and wild rice soup. Exploring Door County led us to Sip in Ephraim, and I'm so glad it did. This place is pure charm vibrant colors, cute and girly vibes, and a gorgeous outdoor space that's perfect for soaking up the sunshine with a coffee in hand. I went for the Cherry Latte (because when in Door County... ) and it was amazing sweet but not too sweet, and full of that fresh cherry flavor they're known for. My husband ordered the Amaretto Latte, and honestly, I couldn't decide which one I liked better. Both were winners. Staff was very nice and I would love to come back & try some more flavors! Whether you're here for a morning caffeine fix, a quick bite, or just to relax in a beautiful setting, Sip is the kind of spot that makes you want to linger. I love a place with board games scattered around. Most of them were trivia, but we grabbed something else and enjoyed it while we waited for food. This place has lots of nooks and crannies for coffee-chat or regular tables for lunch. You order at the counter and they bring it out, but apparently they do have full service after 4pm. A local told me they're open year round which was a plus on the fringe of tourist-season. Such a lovely little spot. We've visited this shop before..... Great coffees available. Nice sitting areas inside and out. Even upstairs- where it's mostly quaint shopping. Love the different comfortable seating areas. Outside games and umbrellas available for a relaxed visit. Came back twice now and had breakfast this morning. Absolutely check them out! This gem of a place has delicious coffee using beans roasted by Wonderstate. Their pastries are tasty and their breakfast is really good. I had the eggs benedict which was served on a toasted croissant with prosciutto. The prosciutto was crisp and the hollandaise had a nice buttery flavor with a hint of lemon.
