This was my first time at Sip and it was such a treat. The decor is eccentric, colorful, and fun. The food and drinks were very good - I had the Bloody Mary and an Espresso Martini. For food I had their crack burger on special - great tasting burger just very messy. The truffle fries were delicious with it. Met up with a couple friends for an early lunch. The place is super cute inside. For breakfast/lunch you order at the register. They also have a water station with lemon. The cashier was knowledgeable about GF/celiac. He indicated the fries/tots do not have a dedicated fryer. I ordered the potato waffle with sour cream. He mentioned there was already some fruit on the side but it was an orange slice and strawberry. I would have ordered an extra side. The orange juice was really good and the food was decent. My dad had the burger special and he said it was pretty salty, but my friends all liked their food. Would like to come back to try more things! Coffee Review! Stopped into Sip for a morning pick-me-up. The inside has a retro vibe with tons of vibrant colors and patterns. They have quite a bit of inside and outside seating to enjoy. Came in for dinner (table service) and had a great meal with a menu that offered enough choices at reasonable (around $15) per entree. They have plenty of seating inside., on their back and front patio, and some comfy couch seating on the side. We had brunch there.. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the chicken and wild rice soup. Exploring Door County led us to Sip in Ephraim, and I'm so glad it did. This place is pure charm vibrant colors, cute and girly vibes, and a gorgeous outdoor space that's perfect for soaking up the sunshine with a coffee in hand. I went for the Cherry Latte (because when in Door County... ) and it was amazing sweet but not too sweet, and full of that fresh cherry flavor they're known for. My husband ordered the Amaretto Latte, and honestly, I couldn't decide which one I liked better. Both were winners. Staff was very nice and I would love to come back & try some more flavors! I love a place with board games scattered around. Most of them were trivia, but we grabbed something else and enjoyed it while we waited for food. This place has lots of nooks and crannies for coffee-chat or regular tables for lunch. You order at the counter and they bring it out, but apparently they do have full service after 4pm. A local told me they're open year round which was a plus on the fringe of tourist-season. Such a lovely little spot. We've visited this shop before..... Great coffees available. Nice sitting areas inside and out. Even upstairs- where it's mostly quaint shopping. Love the different comfortable seating areas. Outside games and umbrellas available for a relaxed visit. Came back twice now and had breakfast this morning. Absolutely check them out! This gem of a place has delicious coffee using beans roasted by Wonderstate. Their pastries are tasty and their breakfast is really good. I had the eggs benedict which was served on a toasted croissant with prosciutto. The prosciutto was crisp and the hollandaise had a nice buttery flavor with a hint of lemon. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and their coffee. The inside is decorated very nicely and the outdoor seating is plentiful. Lots of nice spaces for small and big groups. If I had a chance to give this place 6/5 I would certainly do it! Atmosphere, design, service and of course the food and drinks. After visiting it only two times I'm convinced that it doesn't matter what you ordered there it would be heavenly good. I tried toast and hot chocolate in one day and potato pancakes with strawberry lemonade on another. And that was by far the best breakfast I ever had. Nothing too sweet or out of balance. We happened upon Sip in North Ephraim. Last time we were in Door County, that building was a retail business. I feel like the area really needed a space like Sip. We went for coffee and were pleased to find some bakery options. Other people were coming in for lunch. We sat at a tall table and played a game that was placed there for patrons. It was fun to just hang out there without an agenda. Sip also had unique retail items for sale - things we hadn't seen at other DC businesses.
