Purchased a cinnamon roll, some fabulous coffee, and 2 cookies (for later) of course. Not too sweet, not too dry, not too dense, not too fluffy, but PERFECT. The topping was amazing as it had a slight citrus mixed in with the cream cheese. Not too sweet, gourmet!!! Wow, perfect! I snuck a bite of that cookie, one bite, turned around, went into the store and got 4 more to share! Yes, they were that good! The PERFECT cookie made with premium ingredients. The rich butter, vanilla, filled with chocolate chips, topped with coarse salt. AMAZING!! Nice owners too, very friendly and proud to be new to DOOR COUTY, all the way from Colorado! Please go to their bakery, support their business, you will be. glad you did! Probably a few pounds heavier too! PS, had to take a double check as "am I in Paris??" , it is THAT good!

We picked up their famous Door County bread and Bagel bread which is topped with everything bagel seasoning. The Door County bread has cherries, cranberries, freshly ground cinnamon and Madagascar vanilla. We also picked up a Door County cherry scone. We tried the score right away. This was one of the biggest scones that we have ever had. Loved the cherry's and the texture of the sugar in the raw which provided a nice crunch. There were some soft spots under some of the cherries on top where it appeared to be a bit underbaked. Otherwise this was a tasty score. We made some toast with the Door County cherry bread and sandwiches with our Bagel bread. We enjoyed them both. Nothing like fresh baked bread.

You order at the counter, find a table and they bring everything out to you. They have sandwiches, soups, salads, wonderful pastries and lots of fun coffee and seasonal drinks. But then there's the SHOPPING! I may have done a little damage in the gift shop -- a Door County tumbler, cherry pecan bread mix, Door County socks, Cat Mom slippers...and, of course, lots of coffee! I especially loved being able to choose from all the different flavored coffees and fill your own bags. Open the drawer, pull out the shelf, grab a scoop and take as much or as little as you'd like. Such a fun way to try several flavors without committing to a huge bag of each. They also offer tours, although unfortunately our timing didn't work out for one during this visit. Definitely worth a stop for lunch, coffee and some Door County goodies to bring home. And make a little outing of it -- Door County Candle Company and the winery are practically right next door. Highly recommend!
