The vibe is super cute and even on a dreary day this place was warm and inviting. It's Swedish inspired and feels super cozy. Service is top notch! We were promptly greeted and ordered a few complex coffee drinks. Staff didn't even bat an eye! I had one of their Fall specialty drinks (pumpkin toffee latte) and was able to get it iced and made with skim milk. They have a big selection of pastries and sweets and it seems like they have a rotating selection of a gluten-free item. The day I was there it was a peanut butter banana muffin with a cream cheese frosting. It was awesome! Highly recommend. Can't wait to be back! read more

Their food is fantastic. We've been going there for years when we visit the Door and I've no complaints about that. However, we have visited twice recently for carryout food. On both occasions when we came to open and eat it the food wasn't exactly what we ordered. The first time we ordered a number of cinnamon rolls and cherry rolls. When we came to eat them a while after there were cardamom rolls and cherry rolls. No cinnamon rolls. Not a huge problem but a little disappointing. Yesterday we ordered 3 Turkey Ole rolls with fresh fruit and some cinnamon rolls to go. When we opened them there was no fruit. Instead there was pasta salad which no one wanted. Nothing was awful but there seems to be some sloppiness in the food prep area that may lead to bigger issues if not addressed. read more

Great ambiance, great muffins, good coffee. I love the Swedish decor and vibe. Big comfy leather chairs arranged in small groups around heavy wood tables. The display cases hold fresh baked bread, bagels, umpteen desserts, cold canned beverages, and of course T-shirts! read more

I wish I could eat the Swedish meatball hand roll for breakfast every day! It was absolutely delicious! I also loved the homemade cherry pop tart. Highly recommend Fika if you're in Door County! read more

Unplanned stop on our way up North. Really cool atmosphere, tons of food choices. I'm not a coffee gal, so I can't report on that. My ham puff thing was FANTASTIC. Will definitely go back. Was extremely excited to hear about the relocation expansion. Lots of interest and vehicles parked all over the road. Warning - No posted prices on nearly all items. The Swedish meatballs lunch special was one scoop of mashed potatoes and 5 tiny quarter sized meatballs for $11. Underwhelming and disappointed. The employees and the space size were the pnly positives. I am concerned it can't be successful if it doesn't have better pricing, more decent portion sizes, and more offerings. read more

I realize this place is now closed and moving locations which will be great. This place is a go to for us when we come up to Door County. Their cream cheese danishes are HUGE!! Everything we've ever had here tastes great. The cherry cheese danish, the chocolate coconut balls, the Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy. All so good. First of all I was disappointed they moved from fish creek. But happy they found another location that serves them well. Since we stay in sister bay it's a longer drive but well worth it!!! Since I have a sweet bug inside me that craves donuts and danish, my only complaint they have too many choices. Another 5+++ stars on the coffee, food, and service and this is a great place to support a woman owned business! When my friends and I plan our annual girls' trip to DC, daily stops to Fika are always on the must do list. If you want freshly made pastries and rolls...go here! Also very nice service! We had the cinnamon roll which was delicious. We had a lemon lavender cookie and a cherry danish which were delicious. Had to stop for a coffee and goody up in Fish Creek. Picked a cardamom bread pudding and coffee. The pudding was fresh and packed with yummy flavor! The middle was creamy and edges crisp and caramelized to perfection. The service is always outstanding, sometimes the line is long, but moves quickly. Cute bakery with small dining area for sitting inside with coffee and a pastry. We got there about 90 minutes before they closed so some of the offerings were sold out such as the Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes in a cup. We opted for regular coffees and meatball pasties. The coffee is self serve in containers that were running low on coffee. There was enough for one refill. The pastie was a but underwhelming and bland. The blueberry muffin was very good. I would go back and try them again earlier in the day. read more

Went here close to close on a Saturday and was happy that they were finally open! I've been wanting to go here for a while, but just havent been able to get there until now! I ended up getting the last cinnamon roll in the pan, which was probably the problem. They are brioche rolls, so I was assuming it would be soft and fluffy. Unfortunately, it was a little dried out on the sides and kind of crusty. Good flavor, but the texture was just off. I think I should have probably just heated it up slightly. I'm sure I'll be back to try some of their other goods so that this review can hopefully go up in ratings! read more

Delicious food and coffee! We stopped in here and were amazed with an enormous array of baked goods. Everything was so good!!! We watched a video review and it was stated that this business is closed January- April. Unfortunately we stopped off at this business November 4 and it was only open on the weekends. We had our hearts set on the Swedish meatballs. I guess we will try again in the spring in May. read more

Fika is a gem in Door County. They have delicious baked goods (the cherry white chocolate scone and the carmel pecan sticky buns are amazing) and REASONABLY priced coffee and coffee drinks. For real, some places charged almost twice for their coffee which wasn't any better than Fika's. The place is unassuming and understated, but very well managed. It is clear that thought went into the menu and the decor. This business takes understandable pride in their establishment. We are vacationing in Door County and have tried to go to new places each time, but Fika draws us back. The staff is friendly, the music gives it a mellow vibe, the place is just relaxing and peaceful. Do yourself a favor, come to Fika for your morning joe or your afternoon (before 3 pm) treat. This little unassuming gem is son the northern side of fish creek and is a fabulous place to grab scrumptious baked goodies. The GIANT cinnamon rolls are amazing. Buttery smooth, spicy, and sweet. They also have a few lunchables including a fabulous Swedish meatball plate. They are lighter than others you can get up here on the Peninsula but incredibly filling! The ligonberries they served with them were not quite as sweet as some other restaurants, but that was great! The scratch-made pickled cucumber salad and mashed potatoes were perfect matches. If you need a great continental breakfast or a filling lunch, this is your place. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Be sure to grab a latte to go. Their coffee is a wonderful roast which is smooth. My cappuccino was a perfect blend and needed no tinkering. read more

Tried this restaurant for the first time. The cinnamon roll was great! I wouldn't get the quiche at lunch though. It was hanging out in its container likely at breakfast so it was dried out and not freshly sliced. This will not be my new door county lunch spot but I would go back for the baked goods! read more

Well, after seeing all the great reviews I have to admit I was a little disappointed. We tried a wide variety of the bakery goods: the cinnamon roll, the sticky bun, some danishes and the cardamon coffee cake. Stopped by Fika just to check it out and was really pleased! The pastries were delicious, especially the cinnamon roll. I even had some a couple of days later and it was still just as delicious as the first day. I also ordered coffee and later couldn't remember what flavors were in it and called them to ask.
