Golden Bear Farms chicken with mashed potatoes. Yum!
    Anna P.

A friend and I had dinner here during my first weekend (ever!) in Door Co. It was an exceptional experience. The interior is very coastal and clean. Comfy wooden chairs. Our service was terrific as was the food. I ordered the beet salad special which was incredible + chicken. I'd been craving mashed potatoes and they truly hit the spot. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the scallop special and it was yummmmm! Scallops melted in your mouth. I was too full to finish and ended up taking leftovers home (which made a lovely 2AM snack after Hill St.) Make sure this place is on your list while visiting DC. Will definitely return.

Booked an online reservation for the first available time of 7:45, but arrived early and thankfully the host was able to manage the openings so we could be seated sooner. Every seat at the bar was full, all tables full--this was on a Wednesday night! We learned why once we ordered...Absolutely wonderful service, good drinks and the food... Highlights included the glorious shrimp cocktail--5 plump jumbo shrimp served on ice with fresh lemon. cocktail sauce and "Euro" sauce. So good!! I enjoyed the petite filet mignon--delicious and perfectly cooked--and the baked potato, which was sliced so it cooked up crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, then slathered in sour cream and chives. Mmm... My father enjoyed his beef stroganoff, with tender beef and button mushrooms on a bed of fresh pappardelle pasta. Delicious! Definitely hope to eat here again. Thank you, Barringer's!

Delicious food, shrimp cocktail, 22 dollars, filet medium rare, could be a touch more done, but great nonetheless. Lobster which was also delicious, use to be a little larger, no home fries like last year, went for truffle fries, very good, cherry sundae, again excellent, was a birthday meal, but server didn't know or forget.

Met up with a friend here for lunch. They don't have many GF items listed on their menu but it says they can make most dishes GF. I opted for a simple salad and it was delicious. They also have mocktails in which I ordered the lavender lemonade.

Every time we are in Fish Creek, we make sure to step in at Barringer's. From the white tablecloths to the perfect dirty martini with three olives, our dinner was nearly perfect. The slightest problem occurred when I ordered a lobster salad and it was supposed to come withdrawn butter, but it came with what I perceived to be and tasted like, olive oil with herbs. Not good. I let our server know any quickly replaced it with warm drawn butter. The service is always fantastic. The atmosphere can't be beat. If weather permits, have a drink next to the outdoor fireplace. We will always come back here. If you are looking for a wonderful restaurant with amazing ambience, you can't go wrong with Barringer's. .

Farmhouse modern chic! The inside is straight from Joanna Gains playbook. The bar is adorable. It would be a fun modern place to grab a drink with friends. The outside area was really pretty and well kept. The warm bread is delicious. I had the fish fry which was flavorful and crispy! They do have a kids menu and mine has the grilled cheese with fries. Honestly fantastic. Would have had this myself we made a reservation online but it wasn't too busy when we were leaving around 5:30.

Longtime Door County visitors. First time at Barringer's. Wow. What a Great Place. The Lobster Rolls and Crab cakes were amazing. Service was outstanding. Fresh bread with whipped cinnamon butter, Excellent. The Bone Marrow was on point. Generous wine pours. The OF's were pretty good. Next time maybe a large rock of ice. We will definitely return. Grade A+.

Stopped for my wife's birthday dinner and had some great food. We started with the Tuna Tataki appetizer which was amazing. I tried the Lobster & Crab Stuffed Shrimp which was not only amazing flavor it was super filling. My wife did the Grilled Chilean Salmon and loved it. It was super busy yet our waitress was super nice and was very attentive. Loved it and we'll be back soon.

I recommend chicken soup. It was one of those dishes that made you slightly sad after each spoonful because there was less to eat. For my entree, I ordered the chicken and pastrami rueben. It was a solid sandwich. The whole time I was eating it, I was looking at my niece's lobster Cobb and thinking, boy, did you mess up by not getting that dish. I had total plate envy. The service was good, and the fact this place was open in February was a bonus. I liked the ambiance of the establishment. If I ever got north again, I would have to try the lobster, Cobb,

We stopped by to have a quick snack so we split the short rib melt. After the first bites we knew this would be a new regular stop for us in Door County. The meat was tender and the entire sandwich was well balanced and worth the price. Our drinks were both memorable and we will be back. Beautiful location and the patio is a must when you are in Fish Creek. Cannot wait to try more!

This is by far the best dining experience. I've eaten here many, many times and it never disappoints.

Barringer's is one of our favorites in Door County! The aesthetic is very California - clean, modern, white and airy. It's a comfortable place to grab a drink or have a big dinner. On our last trip we sat at high tops with a view of the bar and the outdoor fire place which was great on a cold November night! We started off with the seafood platter (small) which comes with oysters, shrimp, smoked mussels, smoked whitefish dip and pimento cheese dip. It was a great appetizer but a bit too much food for just 2 people! You can't go wrong with the specials, over the years we have loved their fried chicken, lobster Mac and cheese, and most recently the ahi tuna over wasabi mashed potatoes. The crab cakes are also great and you will definitely get a steak made right at Barringer's! Highly recommend stopping in for great service, atmosphere and surf & turf options!

Wow! I already need to find an excuse to visit this cute modern pizza place again!…read more All the staff were very friendly. We sat outside with our kids but inside was very clean and modern. We had cocktails and they were refreshing! The wait list for a table went fast, they told us 30 minutes but was more like 15 minutes. The crust was fantastic magical. If a pizza can feel light and delicious this is it. Sauce was fresh and tasted great! I need to go back!

I visited this past weekend over the 4th and unfortunately had a really concerning experience with…read morewhat was supposed to be a gluten-free meal. I ordered the gluten-free Rosso pizza and specifically confirmed with my server that I was gluten free. At one point, the kitchen initially brought over my pizza, and when I double checked, they told me it was NOT gluten free. Their team then took it back to the kitchen to remake with a gluten free crust. After that, my dad and fiancé received their regular pizzas while mine took another 30 or so minutes to come out. They eventually stopped eating so I wouldn't have to eat my food alone, and by then their food was cold. There were also several other order issues during the meal, including the wrong salad being brought to our table after another long wait, which is not a huge deal (it was a holiday weekend and they were busy) but it felt like our entire order was miscommunicated. What led me to write this review is I'm quite certain that the "gluten-free" pizza I was ultimately served was not actually gluten free. For the next few days after eating it, I became very sick with symptoms consistent with gluten exposure, and it honestly impacted the remainder of my time in door county. What especially raised concern for me was that our server later sent us home with another gluten-free Rosso pizza as an apology for the wait times and order mix ups, and it looked dramatically different from the pizza I had just been served. The crust, texture, and overall appearance were completely different, which made me increasingly worried I had been served the wrong order. The "gluten free" pizza I had been served (in the image attached) looks identical to my dad's regular pizza (plate behind it) and nothing like the other GF pizza crusts in the reviews. I did notice this when our server finally brought over my pizza however she did confirm it was gluten-free. I understand restaurants get busy especially over holidays and mistakes happen, and I'm not trying to be harsh or accusatory. But for customers with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, this is a serious health issue, not a preference. I really hope the restaurant takes a closer look at its gluten-free procedures and communication between the kitchen and servers, because this experience was really disappointing. Inland also does not have an email posted on their website nor can you leave a message when calling, when I tried to discuss with them directly.

I went with the seafood pasta dish. Had a fancy name but basically shrimp (over cooked), scallops (cooked perfectly), lobster tail (medium size but very tender), artichokes, and tomatoes over linguine in a very salty sauce. Slow service & unapologetic staff. Skip it…read more Was seated 15+ minutes after our reservation, even though there seemed to be adequate staffing and many open tables. Food was good, bartender (ahead of being seated) was great, atmosphere was good. Service was SLOW and inattentive. There were multiple times where we waited 10-20 minutes with no food or drink in front of us. No one ever followed up for additional drink orders outside of the first. After about 1 hour & 10 minutes, I flagged down a bus boy and asked them to find out why we still hadn't gotten the main course. They said we were behind a big table and it should be about 5 minutes. 5 minutes later I flagged down my waiter and asked what was up. I was told that it was my fault for asking for our focaccia, appetizer, and main course to be spaced out. (the only options that were given were to have all items at once or spaced out) At this point I asked for a manager. The manager (owner) came out hot, acting like the soup guy from Seinfeld. He had the waiter repeat what she told to me earlier and when I tried to interject, told me to stop and listen to her. I reiterated that at this point we'd been there for over an hour after being seated (late) (also at this point it was almost and hour and a half since being seated) and that it was unacceptable to still not have been served the main course, whatever their excuse was. There were at least 3 servers, and not over 20 tables in the entire place. Instead of offering anything at all to make up for it, acknowledging any of the issues, or least of all apologizing, the owner told the waiter to "get us out of here". The waiter wound up bringing the entree in a bag and the check (including the entree) to us. I had to demand I wasn't, at all, paying for the entree in order to get it removed from the bill. (I left it on the table) The bottom line is that, the entree could've been the tastiest dish in the world, but this place doesn't deserve your patronage.
