The best vegetarian pho I've had so far. The broth was incredible and served piping hot, exactly how I like it. I just wish this place was closer to home, but I'd still make the drive anytime I'm craving pho. We loved everything we ordered: - Pho with vegetables - Garlic Chicken - Jicama Spring Rolls - Thai Fried Rice If you're vegan or vegetarian, this place is genuinely so good. The service was amazing, everyone was incredibly kind, and the food came out so fast. The ambiance is definitely casual, but the food more than makes up for it.

So happy I had a chance to come here again. Tried the mango salad, which is incredible to make mango and garlic chips work together, but it does. Split the salad and Thai fried rice. Service was lovely, food was prompt, no wait for a table, and portions are just right. Clean and welcoming interior, truly this is top on my "when I'm in Anaheim" list.

I'm soo glad we found this place. The most flavorful vegan Vietnamese food!! Everything we tried was delightful. The egg rolls were extra tasty! The soy calamari was also super impressive. The server was lovely, always smiling. The atmosphere was quiet, casual and simple. It is Reasonably priced and we can't wait to be back!!

I was headed to Anaheim with some friends for a show at The Observatory when we needed some dinner before hand, luckily my friends already had a spot picked out and that spot was Thuyen Vien. It was my first time here and my first time having Vegan Thai food in years so I was pretty excited about giving this place a try. The menu here has all the things you would come to expect from a thai place including my personal favourite type of dish, rice dishes. I ended up ordering the Com Chien Thai Fried Rice which description read "A house favorite cooked with black peppers, Thai chili peppers, bell peppers, basil, soy shrimp, and soy pork" and let me tell you, it was served piping hot and tasted very good. Both the soy shrimp and pork tasted really good and the veggies were a nice mixture as well. Overall, Thuyen Vien was a pretty simple spot spot, having a small but super friendly staff and a pretty basic inside. I really enjoyed the food and the fact that had single cans of caffeine free diet coke which is near impossible to find anywhere these days, so kudos to that as well. This is definitely a spot I'll keep in mind when returning to Anaheim in the future, this is definitely the spot to take my vegan friends!

Been eyeing this restaurant for a while now. Finally got a chance to dine here. Restaurant is near Disneyland. They open later in the day from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Not sure why they do not open for Lunch. The restaurant is small, but still enough tables to accommodate customers. It was clean and bright. Decors were nice. For a Vegan restaurant, the food was very good. The young lady who took our orders was very friendly. Service was good. Foods came out pretty quick. We ordered the followings: - Chả Giò (Eggrolls) (4) - Gỏi Cuốn (Spring Rolls) (4) - Com Bò Lúc Lắc (Shaken Beef with Rice) - Bún Bò Huế (Royal Noodle Soup) - Bún Chả Giò Thịt Nướng (The Vermicelli Bowl) - Gà Tỏi (Garlic Chicken) - Mì Quảng (Hot Noodle Salad) - Flan As mentioned earlier, for a Vegan restaurant, the food was amazing and delicious. If you are Vegan, I highly recommend this restaurant.

We don't come here as much as we used to. But one thing is for sure. The service and the quality of food never changes! The prices are very affordable. As a matter of fact, probably one of the most affordable places in Orange County. A few go-to's I have over here is the garlic 'chicken' and the lemongrass 'chicken' - can't go wrong with those. If you're in the area, definitely give them a visit!

My wife recommended we check out Thuyen Vien for dinner, and I'm so glad we gave it a try. This place definitely has that hidden hole-in-the-wall vibe, but the food absolutely delivers. We ordered the vegan garlic chicken, vegetable curry, fried tofu, and Thai tea -- every single dish was amazing. The vegan garlic chicken was packed with flavor, the curry was rich and comforting, and the fried tofu was perfectly crispy. The Thai tea was the perfect finishing touch. If you're looking for delicious vegan Vietnamese food in Anaheim, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend!

Who gave this place less than a 5 stars? ABSOLUTELY fantastic food at a reasonable price price point. If this were in LA, there would be LINES for this restaurant -- the Thai vegetable curry was probably the best vegan curry I've had.

They open 5 hours a day 3:30pm-8:30pm daily except Tuesday. Serving vegetarian Vietnamese cuisine. We got sweet and sour tamarind soup ($10.95) Fish clay pot ($10.95). You could also get egg plant or tofu. This comes out sizzling hot. Banana flower salad ($9.95) it's the same banana flower used in bun Bo hue. This salad is refreshing with the fish sauce. As far as Vietnamese vegetarian dishes, I don't find this place any different than the temple or any other Viet vegetarian restaurant in OC. But the service, freshness, quickness and prices were all outstanding.

If you're looking for Vegetarian Vietnamese food this is definitely a go to. We came on Lunar New Years with a party of 6 and everything was delicious. Pricing is very reasonable but I will say dishes are on the smaller side so that makes sense. These are the items I tried out. Egg Rolls - Delicious, would recommend as an appetizer. It's crispy. (4.5/5) Garlic Chicken - Got this recommendation via yelp and didn't disappoint. The fake chicken tasted great. Would recommend (5/5) Sweet and Sour Soup - It's a bit on the lighter side but it was okay. Not bad but not special either. (3.5/5) Thai Vegetable Curry - This one is honestly a pass. It's nothing special, but its not bad either. Pass on the Thai food at a Vietnamese place. (3/5) Clay Pot Sensation - LOVED THIS, everything stayed warm and we got this wish fish. Flavor was great and it was just delicious. (5/5) Crispy Fish - This was bomb, thought it didn't come like super hot, more like warm. Flavors were good and I enjoyed it overall. (4/5). Rice was $2 per bowl but overall we spent about $82 for 6 people which isn't bad. The service was good and super friendly. Everyone gave it a thumbs up so pretty solid spot if you need Vegetarian/Vegan food!

Super clean vegetarian spot with generous portions and fair prices. The Royal Pho and Shaken "Beef" are really tasty, and I appreciate that the food doesn't leave me super thirsty after. Service is very friendly n polite

Came with a vegetarian person or else I would never have tried this place, but glad I did. Very affordable and has a home cooked feel to each dish. Close location to Garden Amphitheatre so we stopped for a quick bite here before the show. Vegetarian bun bo hue was surprisingly good, loaded with ingredients and noodles on point. It's not going to be exactly the same but I do understand what they were going for. Comes with "beef" seitan, tofu and thinly sliced king oyster mushrooms I was full to the brim from a regular size bowl of noodle soup and a couple egg rolls. Egg rolls were fired crisp and came with mint and lettuce to help balance out the fried heat, recommend side to go with you meal.

This is our FAVORITE plant-based restaurant in Anaheim. With extremely fast service, reliably delicious vegan food, and the most comfortable ambiance with the friendliest owner - this place is the perfect spot. Please support this mom and pop shop that is still one of the most affordable and delicious Asian places in the area (amongst vegan and non-vegan)!

We got the Crispy Oyster Mushrooms and the Eggplant Tofu. The Crispy Oyster Mushrooms came in a portion size that was larger than we expected. They tasted like the Salt and Pepper Squid dish that my family gets from Chinese restaurants which we really like. However, the breading was heavy and a lot of the pieces at the bottom were oily. The Eggplant Tofu was solid. Both the Eggplant and tofu were cooked well and had a nice savory sauce. This dish came with rice on the side. Overall, giving Vegan District Asian Eatery a 4/5. I used to work here years ago so I know how much care goes into the food & drinks. The Puesto Perfect Margarita is still my favorite margarita I've ever had. We stopped by on a Monday around 4:30 p.m. just before happy hour ended. It was nice & relaxed when we arrived. It only started getting a little busier as we were leaving. We took advantage of happy hour & ordered a few favorites. The potato taquitos have been one of my go-to menu items for years & are just as delicious as I remembered. Crispy on the outside, flavorful inside & served over a generous bed of fresh guacamole that makes every bite even better. We also tried one of the newer happy hour items the short rib mini burrito served with a green sauce. Both my husband & I really enjoyed it. The short rib was tender & the sauce added the perfect amount of brightness. I was happily snacking on the chips with the molcajete salsa. It's one of my favorite restaurant salsas. I also love the chips with Puesto Perfect guacamole. It makes it hard to stop eating. Since it was my birthday I treated myself to a Tropical Candy Shot. If you like bold flavors definitely order one. It reminded me of a Mexican street candy in shot form with a Tajín rim & a pineapple garnish. It was festive, flavorful & the perfect birthday treat. The sweetest surprise of the evening was the complimentary birthday dessert. A slice of pistachio tres leches cake. I love tres leches but I've never had a pistachio version before. It was incredibly moist & rich without being too heavy. The pistachios added the perfect crunch & nutty flavor. It was one of the highlights of the meal. One small detail I always appreciate is that they bring a pitcher of water to the table. This makes it easy to refill your glass throughout the meal without waiting. It's a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience feel more comfortable. I'm so glad we came back after not visiting for quite a while. I love the consistently amazing margaritas, delicious happy hour menu, & warm hospitality. The thoughtful birthday surprise made it even better. It was a wonderful way to celebrate. I'll definitely be back! If you're visiting for the first time do yourself a favor & order the Puesto Perfect Margarita & potato taquitos. Unfortunately, we never got the chance to try the food because of the way we were treated. When I asked if they had a kids' menu, the gentleman behind the register (long curly hair, darker complexion) scoffed, smiled, and said, "We don't have a kids' menu," in a way that made it feel like my question was ridiculous. That was enough to make us feel unwelcome before we had even ordered. The ironic part is that we weren't looking for chicken nuggets and fries. Our kids have grown up eating pho, bún bò Huế, ramen, dumplings, vermicelli bowls, salmon, teriyaki chicken, and all kinds of Asian cuisine. Our 4-year-old regularly eats broth over rice, and our 13-year-old has been eating pho since before they were a year old. We were simply hoping for smaller portions because kids don't eat as much as adults. I was honestly surprised that a restaurant located so close to Disneyland, where thousands of families visit every day, doesn't offer a kids' menu or any kid-sized portions. The least expensive fried rice option was around $17-18 for a vegetable fried rice with no meat. That's a lot to spend on a meal for a child when much of it will likely go to waste while you're on vacation. We ended up leaving without ordering anything. I'm disappointed because I was genuinely looking forward to trying the dumplings. They may be excellent--I honestly don't know because we never got the opportunity. Unfortunately, the customer service made us decide to spend our money elsewhere. If you're visiting with children, don't assume a restaurant serving dumplings and other Asian dishes near Disneyland will have family-friendly portions or a welcoming attitude. Based on our experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Maybe it was a bad day to eat there, but my choices were limited after dropping my son off to the Final Fantasy Exhibition across the street (it was lunchtime). I was reading up on the background of the restaurant and it is a franchise, with the owner who started the restaurant originating from Japan. I paid f$4 for parking downstairs, which I noticed had signs offering all day parking for Disneyland patrons. Overall, the food was good, but the waiting was not.
