Yummy Spanish vibes in Islands of Adventure! When I saw Sancocho on the menu I went Ooooooo!!!! I was not in the mood for soup that day but glad to see diversity!!! ++ roasted pork And cheese nachos ++ side salad with citrus vinaigrette ++ bottled water Loved the chandelier and all the Dino decorations. Ordered food from the QR code and it came promptly during the lunch rush. You have great views of the Jurassic park drop and can see water flying every 5ish minutes. We came in time for Christmas decorations!

During our stay at the Universal Orlando resort in December 2024, we visited Thunder Falls Terrace for lunch. I'm a fan of Jurassic Park and so is my dad, so this seemed like a fun location to stop by as the ambiance reminds me of the movie franchise. Though we usually don't enjoy the cafeteria style dining as prefer table service, this was still a great location. Rice Bowl Meatless Chorizo - $17.99 Pork Belly Nachos - $16.99 Ribs & Chicken Platter - $19.99 Soda - $4.99 I loved that there was a meatless chorizo rice bowl and was surprised at how large the portion was for under $20. All of us were happy with our meals, and found ourselves properly stuffed the rest of the day. Great fuel for lots of walking and sight seeing.

Chicken & Pernil Platter ($23.49) - I liked the flavor of the chicken and the pernil reminded me of Kalua Pork. Both could've been juicier though.

Was so happy to find some Hispanic flavors in Island of Adventure! The food was truly flavorful, and they also had delicious vegan options for my friend! If you're looking for a more quiet place away from the larger crowds to enjoy a delicious meal, Thunder Falls Terrace is the place to go. It's a sit down restaurant where you order within the app and they bring it to your table! I got the Pernil Platter which felt like a home cooked meal as a posed to the phrase "theme park food". I knew Universal had some great bites and I'm happy to add this place to the list!

This was the best place I ate at Island of Adventure! I loved the theming, super cool, feels like you are in a rocky terrace over a waterfall. Tons of natural light, and I liked our view of the end of the Jurassic Park ride, classic! We needed some lunch and I am gluten free and vegetarian, so it can be a challenge to find good theme park food that will increase my energy. I ended up getting an impossible chorizo bowl and was delighted! The beans were flavorful, fresh avocado, the impossible chorizo was in a sauce with lovely flavor. I was expecting something similar to a Chipotle bowl but it was MUCH more elevated. I felt full and energized for the rest of my park day, super impressive! What is better than a healthy meal with a view of people getting soaked on a ride?

At first I was confused because there were employees standing right by the doors, thought they were hosts, but they were just talking to each other. While blocking the door. That wasn't great. It's more a cafeteria ordering style. Though I really wish the menu font was bigger. It was behind the counter so you could only get so close and it was hard to see it. Our cashier and the chef were wonderful though. I let them know I was allergic to raw onions (but cooked is fine. Heat breaks down the allergen) and they made sure I'd be safe. The chef personally came out to talk to me. I really appreciated the care and attention to detail. Food was good! I wish there was more dinosaur theming with it though. Love the restaurant interior. You really feel like you're visiting Jurassic Park. Definitely worth a visit if you're a fan of the movie.

Really enjoyed this place. Had a great view of the park and you could see people on the Jurassic ride. It was really cool to see up close the water splash. Food was fantastic! You can't find this much food for the price. Half a chicken, corn and potatoes. Portions are huge and can be split with 2 people. Great flavor! You go in, find a table and order at your table. They will deliver it to you making it easy!

Visited on a Friday and was seated immediately. The male hostess was so nice and sweet. We ordered the nachos and an alcoholic banana drink both were delicious!

I mean. It's park food. Dont expect to be blown away But when the food is surprisingly decent AND not super super overpriced it's a win Service wasn't bad. They had a bunch of people clearing tables fast and bringing us napkins. It's packed inside obviously but there's a bunch of seating. You go up and order, grab a buzzer and wait. Typical amusement park style I got the ribs and potatoes. Ribs flavored well, not cooked to perfection to where they completely fell off. They needed a tiny tug. The potatoes drowned in butter and seasoned well. Melt in your mouth but also give you like 2 red potatoes cut in half which is a bummer. Corn is corn. Can't complain there It's getting a 2/5 because in all reality it's not that good of food in the grand scheme and portions suck. But for park food it's good

    David S.

Solid all around. Nothing jumps out at you saying "this is amazing!!" But nothing was bad either. They put a ton of meat on the plate but very little amount of potatoes. The corn was probably sitting for awhile because it had a weird chewy texture but it tasted fine. The rice bowl could've used more than 2 plantains. Service was helpful with getting additional sauce. I would go back but it wasn't super great

Personally I feel like the giant turkey leg is a very safe option for theme park food. It's fairly priced (relatively speaking) and should be more than filling for your standard adult. This is a big clean restaurant where you can sit down enjoy the AC and order your food through the mobile app. Thunder Falls and The Three Broomsticks would be go to spots at Universal for a quick meal.

roasted chicken salad $13 Pernil plate $17 Rice bowl $16 Chicken and pernil $17 The rice bowl had rice, black beans, salsa, plantains and cheese. The platter had rice, black beans and plantains. I got the platter because it came with a larger meat portion for the meal. The meat was very fatty for the platter but I did like the larger portion of meat on this in comparison to the rice bowl.

We went in to order since I had a few questions, and the staff couldn't have been nicer, even with how busy it was. There's no indoor seating, but there are a few tables outside if you want to hang out while you wait or eat there. (We ordered then walked over to Runabout Brewing for a beer while we waited) We went all in with the family deal: 50 wings, 2 fries, and 4 drinks. The wings were big, crispy, and cooked just right. We tried a mix of flavors: KB's Secret Rub (dry rub), That Honey Garlic, That Lemon Pepper, KB's Sweet Heat, and That Fiery Garlic Parm. The standout favorite for our group was That Honey Garlic, while the Lemon Pepper didn't quite hit the same for our group. The other three flavors were also very delicious! The fries were just as tasty.. crinkle cut and crispy. We got both the plain and the "secret rub" fries, and honestly, no complaints on either (the secret rub has a slightly sweet, BBQ-style flavor). The homemade dipping sauces were a nice bonus too. The ranch leans heavy on dill (in a good way) and the blue cheese has the perfect tang. Overall, I'm a big fan. I'll definitely be back and recommending it to anyone craving solid wings! (another thing to note: it's a cashless restaurant)

There were no customers when we arrived, so I was skeptical. But the staff assured me we were at the right place for wings. They sold me on their sauces being authentic and house made. So I tried. We ordered Honey Garlic, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Parmesan. Also ordered a couple cheeseburgers. Everything came out fresh and hot to order. Place could've been a five star review but the sauce on the Honey Garlic (preponderance of the order) was not what I was accustomed to. Not enough honey and it seemed to buttery - almost like it would be better on crabs. Great blue cheese dip But loved the staff and service. Would return and get a dry wing.

It was 30 minutes from our hotel, so I was hopeful that it wouldn't disappoint! We got there relatively early (20 minutes after they opened for the day), and nobody else was there, so that was kind of awkward, as was being told to order from a kiosk (or use the QR code at the table), rather than give my order to a human. But the kiosk allowed us to kind of 'shop' before making our decision, so that was good. Since we were the only customers, everything came out fast and fresh (in fact, his came out a few minutes before mine, so I had to steal his fries until mine came out, lol) Hubs got the Ultimate Smash Burger and Fries, which was delicious. Soft bun, big burger, delicious fries. I got the Chicken Dippers, and y'all - they were HUGE! And you got SIX of them! Well-seasoned and well-fried, with a flavor that I know I've had before (spice-wise), but I couldn't put my finger on. I ended up only eating two of the tenders, and brought the other 4 home for leftovers. The staff were all super-friendly and attentive. They gave me a box/bag for my leftovers, and bussed our trays when we were done. Seating is ALL tables, so if you're a "Booth Person" you might be bummed. But the seats were comfy, even on a bigger tushie like mine. Paper towels, salt & pepper, and ketchup were on the tables. The only 'con' for me was the hush puppies... it had pieces of corn in it. This is a personal preference, of course, but I like my HPs without pieces of corn or onions, so I didn't ding them for that! Great job to everyone here, everything was delicious. It's on my "Must Go Back" list for next time I'm in the area.

It was so strong that I went to happyland afterwards. For my entree, I decided to try something new and went with the lobster roll. I was so happy that I did. Even though it was a small roll, it had ample amount of sweet and succulent lobster in a warm buttery bun. I savored every bite as it was as good as a high quality seafood restaurant. I was very surprised and impressed. For dessert, they had my favorite flavor of ice cream (ube), so I couldn't skip it. It had the right flavor and just perfect sweetness for me. It was the best meal at a restaurant that I had for a while. The service was amazing and the vibe was perfect. I sat at the bar with other great people. He also says it starts at 3:30 and not 3...so he had to go back to check and ask. He also had to "check" if he could "find" happy hour menu; no. So he looked in the register. Nothing; lunch hour prices still populated the system. That said, he asked us three times what we wanted. Drinks? Food? Anything to drink yet? I also asked our dear fella if it's Wing Thursday... uh: "oh, yeah." So the Queen Bee was in the mood for wings. Dry Rub #2, all flats. She said they were "okay." I didn't want any, so I can only hope she did like 'em. They came with the driest and most bland focaccia bread I've had occasion to try in a long time. Simon didn't bother to ask how they were either. I meantime chose to have a 16" half pepperoni (thick-cut) half Paulie's. The latter is meatball, sausage, ricotta and peppers (hot or sweet). They advertise their pies as being well done. Guess what? It wasn't...no char or barely a spot of black on it whatsoever. It was still passable, but for $28 TOTALLY not worth it. It also came out AFTER my dear Queen Bee finished her five little wings. I'll guess the pizza guy was in just as much a hurry as Simon was. We were gonna sit and have a glass of wine (her) and a draft (me). All they had on draught was Bud Light, Sam Adams, Voodoo Ranger and Stella...no thanks! "Uh: you wanna box for the pizza?" So Simon whipped just out the box for the rest of our pizza (4 slices left) and handed me the tablet and just stood there waiting to get it back. Did he ask whether we liked it? Let's just say his level of service was reflected by my level of gratuity. I said to him "I guess you're in a hurry, ain't you, Simon?" It went over his head, as did pretty much everything else in our limited conversations. He asked if we wanted "rewards" for it. No; why would I? Simon totally ruined our time there. Reward enough would be someone teaching that kid how to serve with manners and grace. So THIS experience tells me where NOT to go next time we pass through the neighborhood. Keep your rewards, Anthony. Save 'em for someone ELSE. I'll just take half the underdone pie home and heat it like it should be...or give it to a homeless man on the way home. I've eaten better pizza out of a gas fired oven.
