Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Arugula-Farro Salad
    Renee S.

I came here for dinner with my sister at Hollywood studios. The Disney hospitality isn't the same as it used to be. Workers act more casual around guests and they just don't seem happy to be honest. I remember the cast members being more "magical". Anywho, I've never tried this spot at Disney Springs but I really enjoyed the food. I expected the salad to have more arugula. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese was tasty. Cast members cleaning the establishment were quick to pick up plates and they did a good job. The pick up service area near the food, they weren't as friendly. Also, now you order on your phone. Everything is digital and I'm not sure if it's "easier". But we were able to find a table to wait for our food to be ready. And the drink station is self serve. They did run out of ice which was a bummer. I liked the inside decor such as Mr.Johnsons uniform from Abbott Elementary.

Kids Meal - Chicken Arrugula-Farro Salad - $8.29. Includes drink, cutie and chips.

Very busy spot. Lots of seating inside and several tables outside. We all ordered mobile orders and every order was ready prior to the estimated pickup window which worked out great. The app indicates when you can pick up your order. Its very easy to order and pay through the app, giving you more time to review options without feeling pressure to order. I ordered the kids meal chicken arugula salad for $8.29 as I'm not able to eat large meals. Surprisingly, it was a regular sized meal. Not complaining because the value is definitely there. A few ounces of grilled chicken with the salad to the side of it. It came with a bag of baked lays, a bottled water and a cutie mandarin. I would definitely order this again. One of my friends is ordered the Mediterranean Salad with chicken which was also a very generous portion. She didn't have all the extras with her order but enjoyed her salad and hummus nonetheless.

We usually eat at the same places in Hollywood Studios but wanted to try something different so picked ABC Commissary. This was my first time eating here and it's one where you can either mobile order or someone can take your order at the counter. It's inside and a sit down place, which is great for a hot FL day. I had the pork carnitas tacos and I thought they were honestly pretty good for a theme park taco. The meat was tender and the tomatillo sauce had a good flavor. The rice wasn't anything great - seriously probably just a mix from Knorr and the beans had onions in them so I only picked at those. Are these authentic tacos? No, but they're also pretty good when you consider it's a quick service restaurant at Disney.

This place is EXQUISITE. If you're in hollywood studios you must come here. ditch all rides and head straight to ABC commissary first. slinky ride? nah. ABC commissary? yah. Jk . but like kinda serious

I'll start off by saying I'm not a fan of most of the food at Disney. I always find it very underseasoned and underwhelming. However, the Mediterranean salad here is perfection! If you want something refreshing, filling, and super flavorful this salad is your meal. I personally don't think it even needs salad dressing because all of the ingredients mixed together is the perfect bite, and then I use the included hummus as almost like a slight dipping sauce. Highly highly recommend!

Food was average. The buffalo chicken cheese sandwich lacked buffalo chicken and tasted more like a grilled cheese. The garlic parm truffle fries were ok. I don't know if it needed more salt or more garlic but the flavor just wasn't there for me. It was like a typical mobile order site but there are plenty of seats indoors in the AC to catch a break from the heat or the rain. Service was fine and you don't have to throw your food away as they will get it for you when you leave.

Like anyone else, I take Disney food seriously. There are so many good options in the parks, and I did a good amount of research beforehand to make sure I made the most of it. I came here for the buffalo chicken grilled cheese, and was not disappointed! Both the sandwich and the fries were really good. However, the portion was extremely small for the price. The sandwich was super small and thin and there weren't many fries at all. The line was pretty long, but that's to be expected at Disney. It was well-organized, and they handed out menus in the line. The only thing was that the menus didn't have descriptions, so you couldn't really decide until you got to the front and could see the menu board. They don't have very many options, and most are plant-based. I would say if you're starving, maybe choose another restaurant. But if you're looking for a lighter meal, they do have some good food.

Another oasis you can drop into and grab a bite to eat and a drink! Limited menu but nice vibe and AC!!!! I knew Florida was hot and muggy but damn Florida is hot and muggy! Sorry some of these reviews are short but we're on the move!

Always one of my favorites at Hollywood Studios! I usually order the kids' meal chicken arugula salad -- it comes with two sides and a drink, and the portion is surprisingly big. It's a great value, especially for a theme park. Tasty, fresh, and budget-friendly -- can't beat it!

At the end of a great day at Disney we stop at the ABC Commissary to get something to eat. First off seating is first come first served (would never in Jersey). This forces people to wonder around looking for a table. Sometimes stand at a table making everyone uncomfortable. Not much to the menu, but everything thing we had was good. After ordering on your smart phone and they text when it's ready, but they don't want you busing your own table. I don't know how to think about that.

After hearing about the Buffalo chicken grilled cheese a few times, I picked this place when a friend asked me where we should eat for dinner at Hollywood Studios. I got mine with the Farro salad and mint chocolate chip cheesecake. Everything was amazing, which I am glad. It's been many years since we've come here. I dipped the grilled cheese in the Buffalo and ranch from the condiments station. The grilled cheese will be in my HS rotation going forward.

5 stars for the ABC Commissary restaurant in the Hollywood Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida. This cafe is mobile order only (but I'm sure there will be exceptions made for people that don't have the app), and the mobile orders actually make the process of ordering food very smooth and quick. We had the Buffalo chicken grilled cheese Sandwich which was very good and the sauce wasn't too hot, we also had the shrimp taco meal that came with rice and beans. It's a very quick restaurant to get something to eat for lunch inside Hollywood Studios. I'd definitely recommend stopping to eat here if you're in the park.

"Cheesesteak" was served on some type a harder/denser hoagie roll, like Italian bread idk... but def not on the bread a cheesesteak should be on. & it was about 5-6 inches long, which is way smaller than we imagined considering the picture on the menu or compared to cheesesteaks served in other restaurants. Sandwiches overall were good flavor-wise. Sauces needed a stronger flavor profile, all very similar and hard to distinguish the differences. Restaurant was way bigger than we expected it to be inside. Decor was cute. Looked nice and clean in the dining room. The bathrooms were disgusting and unkept. Service was lacking. Cashier seemed new (which is fine) but the other coworkers seemed annoyed they had to assist her or that she didn't know everything. She was helpful and nice to us. Cutlery, napkins, and ketchup were hiding near the soda fountain and we weren't aware of this. Accidentally took some of the togo ketchup packets to use with our fries since we didn't know there was a ketchup dispenser. These items need to be in a better spot or the food runner should direct the customers to that area so they can get the things they need for their meals. Looking around after the game, a smash burger sounded like just the thing we needed. Ambiance was nice. Good, chill vibes, a random door to a random next-door bar. Plenty of viable seating for my party of six. Service was pretty ok. The front counter worker was nice enough, but the food took forever to come out. Much longer than I would expect for the products we ordered. The food itself was dynamite. I got the Papi Big Mak (Two Florida-raised beef patties, smashed onions, lettuce, American cheese, sweet-heat pickles, tostone "Middle Bun" , Papi Mak sauce, Sesame Martin Potato Roll). This was a fun thing. The patties had a good crisp to them. The totstone did not, though, so it got a little lost in the bite and chew. Needed more sauce. And that sesame seed bun really helped out a lot, too. A little extra texture in every bite. I was a fan. I also got the chance to try the Umami Papi (Two Florida-raised beef patties, crispy bacon, white cheese, sweet-heat pickles, crispy onion, raspberry jam, Uuuumami truffle sauce, sesame buns). This one was a better topping combination. The pickles had a nice pop of acid, the raspberry jam really stood out, adding a nice sweetness, and the truffle sauce, never thought I needed it on a burger. I did. Standout burger. I also got the Papis Loco Fries. I forget exactly what these fries were topped with, but the cheese, just look at it. Congealed just perfectly. A good side item, for sure. Overall, this greasy meal is out there doing the good work for the people. Maybe this was a four star meal overall, but I'm not sitting, that Umami Papi was a standout for me, and the reason I now give five stars.

Nice, crispy edges on the patties, and I loved how many sesame seeds were on the buns. Great flavor. Cons: The only thing was that they waited for our whole party's order to be ready before calling names, instead of just serving them as they came. This lead to cold burgers. Tips: Make sure you arrive early! If you wait too long, they switch to a smaller, less interesting menu.

To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.

Now this review has nothing to do with that my father's name was Freddy and that my mother's favorite treat was frozen custard. But those little tidbits of information don't hurt. The warm feeling that I get when I eat frozen custard reminiscent of enjoying it on the boardwalk with my mom is renewed at Freddy's not because of the ambience of the restaurant, but because of that same delicious taste that my mind still seems to remember from long ago that I have not found anywhere else before this. But I digress. Freddy's may look like your typical fast food restaurant, but it is anything but. I already loved it for the burgers, the french fries with their wonderful sauce, and of course, the custard but now they have a salad as well. Really fresh greens with my favorite burger on top as a garnish. Low-carb great taste and totally filling. But not so filling as to not leave room for that wonderful custard. On this particular visit, I did run into an issue which I will not lower my rating because of, but want people aware of so it does not happen to them. If you have a coupon for a discounted custard, and they ring in any other item after that, it will restore the custard to the full price on their register. I did not notice that and paid the full price. The manager did give me a card for a free custard next visit so they certainly took responsibility but just wanted people aware to keep an eye on that. In defense of the staff, I don't think they noticed either that it had occurred, so I did not allow that to detract from my impression of five star service from their pleasant, friendly and attentive staff Of course the custard is a star. It comes in all sorts of different ways to serve it. I tend to usually be a purist indeed, as a soft serve, but sometimes their specials are so exciting that I cannot resist. I have never tasted any of them that I did not find awesome. Their steakburgers should not be left as an afterthought. These are not like other fast food burgers; the meat is actually very tasty and because there's not any "proprietary" seasonings on it I even order an extra one so that I can sit outside with my puppy and she can enjoy it. It is small enough to not be unhealthy for her and big enough to be a satisfying snack. Its fat content does not make her ill like the typical fast food burger would. I personally like the fries and find the sauces to be quite good. Prices are more than reasonable and they have hours that make them convenient whenever you're hungry or craving that custard fix. I am a Freddy's fan and wish they would open one closer to where I live in Miami.

The fries, however, were not seasoned. I had to get a salt and pepper packet to season them. At that point, they were very good, tasty, and crispy! Overall, the meal was okay. It was nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible either. As for my mom, she wasn't very impressed with her hamburger. She said the portion size was good, but she would describe the hamburger itself as "lacy." She said it was okay, but since it took us 27 minutes to get here, she said Culver's was better in quality and closer. She was underwhelmed by the onion rings. She said it was more of the fried breading and barely any onion inside. However, she did enjoy her milkshake, but struggled to suck it up through the straw.
