Found Three Mile Brewing on Yelp and was excited to check it out. The vibe is pretty chill, but it was freezing inside. If it's cold outside, definitely bring a jacket--they leave the doors open, and with temps around 53°, it felt just as cold indoors. The staff came across as pretty indifferent and quiet, with little interaction. It would also be nice if they offered some food options. Overall, the experience didn't really click for me, and I'm not sure I'd return--drinking beer isn't as enjoyable when you're freezing the whole time.
Fun, family friendly brewery with local beers on tap. Lots of interesting choices and affordable nice size pours . Friendly bartender and inviting crowd.
Nice to find this sweet little brewery tucked into a strip mall. Has a pet friendly outside patio if you have a pooch. Cute inside space. No food but you can bring in your own. Nice beer selection.
My husband and I stopped by here today to relax with a beer after spending the day walking all over the nearby campus. The place was livelier than a nearby brewpub so that, and the good reviews, won us over. The bartender was not the most friendly guy in the world but that's ok. It turns out they were setting up for private party this evening so maybe he was a little preoccupied. We like IPAs and there were several here to choose from. I was drawn to the "BoJack Horseman" drawing on the listing for One Trick Pony hazy IPA so I went with that while my husband had the Ability Modifier grapefruit hazy IPA. I really enjoyed mine! My husband like his but liked mine better. There was seating outside but since it was a little chilly out we grabbed one of the only open tables indoor. We noted there was a bookcase filled with boardgames for anyone to use and an area where they were setting up instruments for live music later. I can see where this would be a nice regular stop for locals.
Expansive beer choices (rotating selection) , great atmosphere (Sunday Music Trivia/Bingo and more activities during the week). Servers are great: follow their recommendations if you're not sure what to try! 20ft of G street, it's still easy to find! Highly recommended!

Interior and patio seating is available, but we opted for the patio, which is no more than a chained off section of a common area in a retail shopping center. The interior is showing its age and could use a refresh. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Tried a flight, which consists of four 5 ounce pours. The beer was just okay, nothing special. It seemed that of the four beers we tried, each was either too extreme for the style (too hoppy and bitter) or too weak (not much flavor or distinction). The experience overall was just "meh".
To go beer must of been expired or well over 30 days old. Both IPA's tasted horrible. What a waste of money. No canned date on the beer. Come on you guys every brewery has expiration dates on the can. When I tasted the beer fresh from the tap it was great. Please please but canned dates. I won't be coming back!!!!

As for the bingo, it is every Wednesday from 7-9pm, we played on our phone and played about 4/5 games, so you might have a chance to win. With the weather getting warmer, a great outside space to enjoy as well. Check this beer place out!

I fully intended to get a pint of their Pineapple IPA that I tried in a flight last time I visited (a few weeks ago), but they no longer had it on the menu! I was so disappointed that it seemed to switch out so quickly! So instead, I opted for the flight of four pours (5 oz.) for $10. I tried the Freestone (Stone Fruit Blonde Ale), Raspberry Pi (Raspberry Key Lime Blonde Ale), Sidewalk Standoff Kettle Sour (Marionberry & Pomegranate), and Earth Quaker (Oatmeal Stout). I enjoyed the Freestone and Earth Quaker. Great place to enjoy good some beer and relax. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a good location that is tucked away from foot traffic. Only thing keeping my review from being five stars is the service. They're not very friendly, and that seems to be a reoccurring theme, as I recall seeing another reviewer mention this as well.

Such a cool place to try different types of beer. It's a little hidden but follow the signage and you'll find this place no problem. I got a beer flight to try four different types of beer. They brew everything in house. There is an active menu and lots more variety to rotate in. I enjoyed all four but Wheelhouse is my favorite. I got two of those in can form to take home. Service is great. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the products. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings. Looking forward to visiting again~ read more
After a few visits to & staying in downtown Davis, I've had enough time & opportunities to try out a good number of spots for just relaxing & grabbing a beer or 2. Three Mile Brewing has emerged as my personal favorite. Tucked away back off the street adjacent to a small hidden courtyard, Three Mile Brewing has a calm, quiet, secluded feeling right in the heart of downtown Davis. Perfect for putting the world on pause while taking a moment to enjoy some beers. & the beers are tasty. To my taste, from what I've tried, overall, Three Mile Brewing makes the best beers in town. & very important to me, they serve taster pours/ flights. While I may occasionally have the full pint of a crisp lager, I prefer smaller pours of bigger beers. Service has been friendly, informative, & attentive. At this point, altogether, I've tasted well over a dozen of their beers. Just about all of them have been good to great. For tasty beers & some tranquility in downtown Davis, Three Mile Brewing is where I'm going. read more

Stopped here for a beer this evening and had the Gandalf the Pale, which was simply exquisite! Refreshing, bright and easy drinking - sat out on the patio with my husband who had the #6 IPA. We were both delighted with the beers. read more
Really liked this little tap room in Davis (once I found it- it's sort of hidden in a courtyard next to a tennis shop). There's a small patio and a moderate sized interior with a small bar and some tables. Wood plank decor and a few silent flatscreens. Wish they would put sound on for ball games. Beers are good. They don't serve food but you can bring food in. read more
Love coming to this place to have a drink with friends or family. They always have 12 choices on tap at all times, they have a small grab and go fridge which has juice, seltzers, root beer and salsa. They have a water for you and it is a super dog friendly brewery. They have dog water bowls and treats for your four legged friends. There's seating inside and outside where is is chained off. Inside has tables but also a bar as well and there's hooks too hang your stuff. Staff is super friendly. Will definitely be coming back with friends and family again. read more
This is a pre-COVID review. I got the lavender honey blonde, the scarlet sour, the machine, and honey blonde. At the ripe old age of 25, this is where I discovered my love for sour beers. Since I was getting a flight, I decided to get some recommendations from my friend. I came here to celebrate passing my Ph.D. qualifying exam with friends celebrating the same occasion. The machine was just what I needed after a grueling hour and a half oral exam with 5 faculty members. Everything was good, service was quick, the flights were delivered in a cute little wood board. You just write down what you want and they serve you at the front. (Again, pre-covid) Plenty of seats on the patio and inside. The place is a little hidden, I walked through an alleyway to get here. If you play pokemon go, there are some gyms and stops located here that you can reach. Decent prices, great brewery experience. Oh, and props to them for letting us get outside food from Woodstocks. Pizza was a great complement to the beer. read more

Twelve beers to choose from with a good variety of flavors. I like two of the fruit flavored drinks they have currently (the Raspberry Key Lime and the Marionberry & Pomegranate). They have chips and salsa for sale. Employees are not very friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Three Mile is one of my favorite breweries in Davis. They usually have around 12 beers to choose from, 1 of them being a fruity hard seltzer. I like that they have a hard seltzer option for times when I feel like having something fruity. They often have a few beers that are slightly fruity. There is currently a raspberry key lime blonde ale. There is also a pineapple ipa, which is very light in the pineapple flavor, heavy in the hops flavor. I had their stone fruit ale. It had notes of plum and peach and was refreshing on a 100 degree day. The art on their signs for each beer contain beautiful illustrations. I look forward to seeing them on each visit. I like that you can order something smaller than a pint. I usually get the 10oz amount when I'm there grabbing a beer with a friend. I like that there is a variety of seating. There is a fair amount of inside seating. On the patio, outside of the brewery, there are small tables with chairs. You can also get your beer in a plastic cup and sit out on G street at picnic tables. Three Mile is an excellent spot to meet a friend, a group of friends, or even a bookclub meeting (which I went to a few weeks back). read more
Good tasting beers and a nice patio for you and your doggo. Servers were very friendly. The outside seating is enclosed by businesses, therefore no views or much of a natural environment here. Outside can be hot on hot days, though tables do have umbrellas for shade. Likely to come back on cooler days with the doggo. read more

Was in Davis for the night and wanted to find a cool brew spot. It was a Wednesday and this place was open until 10, where most others were closing at 9 or closed today. Located in a cool little downtown area off of G street. Cool vibes. Outdoor patio set off the street. Good amount of indoor seating. Dogs allowed. Outside food allowed. Board games available. Liked the music. Cool merch Flight of 4 for 9$, which is pretty solid. They had 10-12 beers on tap and a hard seltzer. All the beers I had had good flavor and - out of my flight in order I would go: group hug, gingersnap stout, #6 ipa and then the lemon. I'd come back if ever in Davis. read more
First time at this brewery. Friendly and helpful staff and great service. I explained to one of the employees I usually drink a lite beer and he gave me a sample of a nice smooth lemon flavor beer. It was so good, I had another! Will definitely visit Three Mile Brewing again when in Davis, California. read more

You may or may not remember that back in 1979, there was a nuclear incident at this Nuclear Plant that we all on the East Coast at the time took very very seriously! ESPECIALLY since the movie "The China Syndrome" had just come out days before, leaving everyone on edge about Nuclear Safety in this country. So.....where was I? OH....BEER...... BLONDES, ALES & PALES, OH MY! Three Mile BREWING is a wonderful stop in Davis to have some fantastic ales. I dread saying this for the ridicule it will engender, but I am NOT a fan of IPAs, or at least the ones that are insanely, overly hoppy. What I DO love are Pale Ales or Honey Blondes or Ports, or many brews that come with an APV of 8% and possibly have spent some time aging in Old Whiskey-Bourbon-Scotch Barrels. Here at Three Mile they have their Honey Blonde on rotation and it was an absolutely refreshing delight. Love this space! It's a great place to come meet up with your friends and can sit inside or outside. There's lot of different table sizes and a variety of box games people can play at their table. They have a great beer selection, but my favorite is the sour. They provide plastic cups if you want to sit outside in the street area which is a nice option. Definitely will be coming back for more! read more

Three Mile Brewing is seriously a hidden gem! It is tucked in a small courtyard behind Zumapoke and Temple Coffee. They have great beer at great prices! I'm usually not a beer person, but I enjoy these beers! They sell a flight of 4-5 tasters for $7, pints for $6, a Crowler for $9, and a Growler size beer cup (which holds 4 beers whoa). I would recommend their Portland Dark, MoMosaic, Downtown Tom and Honey Blonde as a flight of tasters. You'll get a taste of their dark selection, which have sweet hints. They have hip decorations that make for nice backdrops for your beer (lol sorry I'm one of those people). They have a stack of games and two big tv's, which make this brewery a cool place to grab a drink with friends and chill out. Highly recommend you check this place out! read more
Stopped in to grab a refreshing beverage with an old friend. When we arrived the line to order a beer was out the door, we figured this was a good sign. The beers themselves were unique and offered different flavors added to the traditional style beers. The beertenders were kind to allow us to sample one before buying. Once we got our drink we found a bench to sit on and found out Trivia night (Sunday) was about to start (which explained the line and crowd). Trivia was organized well with 30 questions. The quiz master came around after each question to ensure everyone heard and answer questions. It was nice because there was enough time between questions we would still chat and catch up. I would come back here to try some more unique beers. read more
Blink and you might miss this one . They are tucked back in an enclave between Temple coffee and Woodstock pizza. They have a small outside patio, and thankfully a larger spacious interior with numerous seating and pleasant decor. They are DOG FRIENDLY inside and out! We visited on a particularly hot afternoon and a thoughtful employee brought out a dog bowl with fresh water for my pup . Yose was very thankful! We ordered a sampler flight , and I couldn't tell you the names , but all four tasters were pretty good! Good vibes, friendly staff. We look forward to visiting again very soon! read more
Had the four flight pour. All of the ones I tried had great flavor. The triple ipa was surprisingly very smooth and not too hoppy for 10% alcohol. For 10$ cannot ask for better. Plenty of outdoor seating with shade. Will be back to try more of their flavors. read more

Tasty IPAs, ALES and plenty of outside seating! Adorable decor inside, nice atmosphere. They serve pizza during CoVid as well and the staff is okay. Not all that personable and goofy, a bit serious for our personalities however they were busy! I did buy a cute shirt, and it fits perfect! Love their merch! Looking forever to going back and enjoying some more of there delicious brews. read more
