    Lots of beer options!

It's about time Vacaville got a brewery, and this one is truly wonderful! Super friendly staff and nice building with indoor and outdoor seating options (they even have board games and lawn games available to play). I got the blueberry vanilla wheat ale and the kolsch and both were amazing. But the kolsch is one of the best I've ever had! Liked that they make it easy to order food at the Mediterranean restaurant next door with QR codes on the table. Will definitely be back!

Such a fun brewery! We came on opening night and the vibes were AMAZING--so awesome to see such a huge turnout and the community showing up strong. There are so many beers on tap, and we're already making a mental list of what to try next (and the next visit after that). Opening night was packed, but honestly that just added to the experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming--people happily shared tables with us, which made it feel even more like a true neighborhood brewery. The board games on the shelves were a fun touch, and we loved the chalkboard near the bathrooms (can't wait to see how creative people get with that). There's extra seating outside plus a food truck, making it an easy spot to hang out for a while. They also have non-alcoholic drink options and snacks like chips available at the bar--something for everyone! We are SO excited to have another brewery in town and can't wait to be back again and again. This place is already a win!

    Pena Adobe hazy!

Beer is fantastic haven't had a bad one yet! If you are a beer lover you have to check this place out. My go to beer is the Pena Adobe and Give me Hazy! Staff is fantastic Mat(owner) and Janie bartender are friendly and out going. Ambiance is great they always play good music. They partner with the Falafel and gyro house next door. Food is great and fantastic price!

Finally!!!!! Vacaville has a brewery! Blue Lagoon is owned and operated by Matt, a local who brews everything in house. There are a variety of beer which is great for those who like to experience more than your typical IPA (the IPA's are great though!). Opening day was crazy busy! The town definitely came through and showed their support for Blue Lagoon! It was a great community atmosphere where people socialized, played corn hole and the kids ran around and enjoyed the slide on the patio. The staff was great, super friendly and worked hard to make sure that everyone had a great experience. Ill be there again to chill, have great beer and have enjoy this new local hot spot with friends and family. I highly recommend this plac

This is a new spot in town that has a great atmosphere and vibe. There is inside and outside seating. A place for kids to play. They have live music and food trucks on certain nights. The service is great and the people behind the bar are fun. Most importantly the beer is delicious I recommend a flight tasting if you're not sure what to get.

This is my new favorite spot! What a fun place! Great people, great service and so many amazing brews have a hard time picking my favorite. The falafel place deliveries here quick is a great bonus as well! You gotta check em out

Which was why when craft beer boomed everywhere else, I wasn't at all surprised that it was largely absent from Vacaville. & that is also why Solano Brewing Company was such a pleasant discovery for me. On a visit back to the area, a friend I used to homebrew with for years introduced me to an actual craft brewery with, technically, a Vacaville address. While it's a good distance outside of town, it's still close enough to be someplace to go around Vacaville that's more interesting than the town's repetitive corporate chain dining & big box retail. It's a great spot to grab some quality brews. There's plenty of parking. There's inviting spaces, both indoor & outdoor, for sitting & relaxing a while. The outdoor area is quite expansive. The service has been friendly & welcoming. & yeah, I like the beers. For me, Solano Brewing Company is 1 of the better breweries in the Vacaville/ Dixon/ Davis region. So if you're in, around, or near Vacaville looking for a day/ night out to chill & maybe have a beer, consider Solano Brewing Company as an alternative to the ho-hum humdrum predictable complacency of the town's many name recognition chain brands. Whenever I'm back around these parts, I'll likely be back

I now have so much fun there, I have begun to go at least once a week. First off, the staff is wonderful. I don't know everyone's names, but they are always happy and helpful. Any questions regarding any of the beers or anything else for that matter are promptly answered. If its beer related and you just aren't sure, they happily offer a taster. I find almost all the beers delightful. There's been a few duds, but I like that they are always trying new things. The menu has some consistent favorites, but you'll see new items fairly consistently. I especially enjoy "Hazy on the 80" and the "Scottie Rippen". Inside seating is somewhat limited but it's cozy and there are seats at the bar as well. Outside seating is plentiful and awesome on a beautiful day. Plenty of covered areas as well for the not so pleasant days. Kids and pets are very welcome. There's a playground and grassy area. It's also spacious enough if you just want to be around other adults and not be bothered by all that type of hoopla. There is a rotating carousel of food trucks and live music. Best to check their website calendar to see who is there and when. Plenty of great trucks and wonderful bands from what I've seen thus far. There are also themed events ranging from cornhole tournaments to music bingo. So don't be like me and sit around for years before going. Get off your culo and meet the gang out there. You'll be sure to have a great time!

From entering the restaurant we were promptly greeted from the friendliest staff. We asked for outdoor seating in the little patio area to soak up some sun. Our waiter Austin promptly came to our table and suggested a few beers. Since I couldn't decide, I went for a flight to try a few. One of my favs was a sour too bad I can't remember the name. We got the Asian fries as an appetizer and they were delish ! Perfect crisp and toppings. We'll def be back when in the area. Great service from Austin ! The Old Rasputin was ice cold, the tri-tip French dip was absolutely phenomenal, and the fries were cooked so perfectly they deserve their own diploma. My service dog (APBT) came with me, and the staff couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming to him. They treated us with respect, which I genuinely appreciated. My only complaint? This place is PACKED. It was so loud I accidentally became emotionally invested in three strangers' conversations. At one point I think I attended someone's family reunion, witnessed a fantasy football draft, and learned about someone's divorce--all without leaving my table. The food and beer are so good they've officially outgrown the building. Either expand the place or start offering complimentary earplugs with every pint. for the food, beer, and hospitality. My ears, however, are still filing a noise complaint.

Back Door Bistro, Vacaville: 2026 Jul 10 (4.29 of 5)…read more Ladies Gathering!! The service here is a 4.5 of 5. We had different servers who attended to us and they're both friendly and looked cheerful. We got there towards the end of Happy Hour and was presented with their Happy Hour menu. The menu is small, easy to read and has almost everything we'd want for that time of day - including the drinks. The food is a 'hit' or 'miss'. Here's my review: Drinks: Both the Arnold Palmer and the Cadillac Margarita were good. My lemonade tea wasn't overly sweet and I could definitely taste the lemonade. The pitcher of Cadillac Margarita looks innocent but may give someone a slow and powerful buzz if you're not used to the drink. (4.75 of 5) Charcuterie: This a complete appetizer board. Overall, there were some hits and misses, however, we agreed this is a well thought out appetizer board. (4 of 5) Crispy Brussels Sprouts: This is the best dish here, featuring deeply caramelized, dark golden-brown edges and a nutty, earthy flavor. Their Crispy Brussels Sprouts is also the best we've had. The seasoning is on-point, allowing the texture to show off its crackling, crunchy bite on the outside, contrasted by a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. (5 of 5) Seasonal Tacos: "Oh WOW!" The explosion of spicy and tangy flavours balanced by contrasting textures makes this dish "pop". (4.75 of 5) Beet Salad: The colours were lovely, but this beet salad was over-salted. The vibrant dish featuring beets as the main ingredient, balances the earthy sweetness with contrasting textures and flavours. If this wasn't too salty, it would have been more refreshing. (3.75 of 5) Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse (halibut, jasmine rice, spinach, snap pea, pickled shiitake mushroom, coconut lime broth, basil oil): Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Bouillabaisse means seafood. The only seafood we noticed were chunks of halibut, which were delicious. This dish looks and tastes more like an elevated Thai soup dish that cost too much. (3.5 of 5) After walking in, we decided to sit outdoors because of the loud music that was playing. We're glad we did. The overhang on the veranda was well positioned with plants and flowers softening the cement walkway. The weather was pleasant - with a gentle breeze blowing down the corridor. Parking is easy if you arrive early enough. One last note: Back Door Bistro in Vacaville was featured on "Check, Please! Bay Area"
