Decided to go check this place out to have a beer. They have different kinds of beer for everyone's taste and they also have beer mimosas. It's a cool vibe with lots of out door seating. They also have lots of animals like goats and chickens. Yes you can pet them. This place is also family oriented. Sundays is there slowest days with Friday and Saturday being there busiest days. I believe Saturdays they have pizza night and line dancing if that's something you're into. You are aloud to bring snacks with you to enjoy your beverage. My husband, sister & I came here on Thur 5/21 since my husband is part of the Social Corn Hole league. I got a Blood on the Tracks beer $6.47hh which was delicious, and my husband & my sister enjoyed their Seeing Double beers $6.47hh. For food I got the Pulled Pork Sandwich w/ Fries $17 which was good. My husband enjoyed his Tator Tots w/ Beer Cheese $15, and my sister enjoyed her Cowboy Burger w/ Garlic Fries $21. It was a bit warm inside the Cornhole room, so I asked Nick to turn up the A/C, and also put on some Rock music instead of the very mellow music they were playing that was putting us all to sleep. read more

If you have never been to Winters, you are missing a hidden gem of amazing restaurants and Hooby's brewing! Huge location with tons of outdoor seating really lovely, indoor ambience, friendly staff . And lots of interesting food options to pair with your beers . I had an hour to burn while I waited for some friends to get into town so I stopped to have a beer when I came inside I saw that they had a special stout. It was incredibly strong and it definitely got me worked up for the rest of the day . I also had a pretzel with some beer cheese sauce, which was really nice . I sat on the street bar parking and enjoyed watching the people walk by and a lovely day . I highly recommend this place to stop in and try all their different beers read more

Looks like a great spot for nightlife but not the best lunch spot. There was tons of seating outside and a small indoor dining section. It was too chilly outside for us, but i wish we would have dealt with it to avoid battling the flies inside. The food was just ok. We waited a long time for lukewarm burgers and cold sides. The grease flavor was strong. The beer was alright, but the root beer on tap was kind of flat and only slightly chilled. They do offer board games, but too bad the first couple we grabbed had missing pieces so we kept having to exchange our choices. Still, it was nice to play a game given how long we waited for food. One final note was that this place does not have table service yet they charge like a quality, full service restaurant. Not worth the price point. read more

Was camping near Lake Berryessa and the store owner there suggested stopping by Winters for dinner because we didn't want to cook. It's a cute town by Main St. we wanted some burgers and local beer and Hooby had both. It's a casual spot with indoor and outdoor seating. We tried 6 drafts and enjoyed their smash burgers! The fries, onion rings and fried pickles were great too. They had a couple games playing on the TVs inside, had they have board games available too. We played taboo. There was some live music in the patio seating. It was pay at the counter, I closed out the tab and paid for everything at the counter. Great service, delicious burgers and good beer. Only had the Cran Orange Sour on tap today. The t was very tasty and it overly sour either. The staff is very friendly and taproom is very clean. I highly recommend this taproom for either a quick bite to eat with some good beer or a quick drink or two if you have dinner reservations at one of the downtown restaurants read more

My my my where do I start .... ;) Hooby's is a badass little Brewpub in downtown Winters California with damn good beers, a groovy indoor and outdoor environment for live music and events, friendly fun staff and excellent food. I have been here a number of times and am so very glad we have this fine establishment in our town. There was a paint & sip fund raiser event held here a month or two ago so I got to have a yummy burger and a hazy beer while I painted a fun water tower scene. Next time I came was Winters Harvest Festival -- there was a great BAND playing in a drizzle outside and they quickly moved them indoors to their cornhole area so we all got to keep rockin into the darkness. I had a nice dark beer and their pulled pork sliders WOW - just a tasty meal of the purrfect combo of pulled pork, slaw, bbq sauce and dill pickles.... ;) The next time was the walk run event on a Sunday morn and we had their damn delicious large breakfast burrito with eggs cheese sausage beans and totts -- your mouth will water with that combo. Turns out they do a fantastic Sunday brunch menu and even today there is a live band playing -- yayy so fun!! We enjoyed going to hooby's for little snacks but we decided to try the breakfast. The waffle sliders were pretty good but the chilaquiles were definitely a disappointment. It's just chips with the garnishing on the side, for $15 I definitely wouldn't order that again . I love the vibe and the ambiance but definitely feeling a hit or miss with dishes. We had the bacon which is a $1 a piece, not bad but the tater tots were greasy and close to being burnt. It wasn't the best. read more

We were just passing through looking for something decent to eat with low expectations and this far exceeded those low expectations. The menu is simple basic to the point. I ordered the Korean barbecue fried sandwich and let's just say folks you could stop there. It's a total Mic drop. Only a little bit of heat, good sauce. I just wish the onion rings were a little bit hotter. Don't miss the tater tots. The double IPA is very tasty with the sandwich as well. Love the music and the service is on point. read more

My husband and I reached out to Hooby's to inquire about hosting our post-wedding brunch, and we were SO beyond impressed with everything from that first contact till the actual event. First of all, working with Hooby's prior to the brunch was easy, and communication was seamless. They were super accommodating to our needs, the number of guests, and some dietary restrictions for our guests that came about as we got further into planning. They helped us brainstorm a menu, and kept the budget very reasonable (which we super appreciated)! After the wedding, when we showed up to our brunch, I was so impressed and touched with how beautifully and thoughtfully everything arranged the patio for our guests. The food buffet (bagels, cream cheese, fruit, coffee) on paper sounded pretty standard, but they did such a beautiful job arranging all the food in a buffet that felt special and really presented beautifully. And it was super yummy!!! Like, great quality bagels that impressed even our new york family. They also let us bring in our own lox, and plated it for us. My favorite part was that they added sweet touches of signs (like a welcome sign on a stand at the entrance, and food labels for each dish) that made it feel just that more elevated and special - we didn't ask them to do this, they just did it, and it meant so much to me and my husband. The staff were attentive throughout the morning, and came around to take individual orders for guests that wanted to add on more food/drinks. The patio was clean, spacious, and perfect for our wedding party (about 70 people!). The coffee was great, and never ran out. I cannot thank, nor recommend, Hooby's enough. If you are thinking about hosting any kind of event in Winters, definitely do it here! Thank you Hooby's!!! Can't wait to come back soon. read more

Friendly service, nice environment, lots of beer choices. We were here for Father's Day, Had the burger and beer special, fries and deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were good, they added bacon and potato chips which gave it a nice dimension in texture. The burgers were okay, but the buns were cold (like it just came from the ref) and hard. I did mention it to the wait staff, and they did offer to replace it, but I declined. I'd give this place another chance, I hope they correct the bun issue. read more

Hooby's Brewing is Family & Dog Friendly Brewery, with indoor and outdoor seating. The customer service is great, the food is delicious and the beer on tap (blond, IPA, Stout etc...)is really good. I appreciate the restaurant having a kid's menu with three choices. My kiddo really liked that and enjoyed the grilled cheese with fries. I liked how there was a water station as well. My family and I also enjoyed the games that were available to take back to our table. We will definitely return with pups, next time we are in Winters. read more

It's beer tasting time at Hooby's Brewing! The line up includes the Water Tower Kolsch, the Wrong Way Pilsner, the Tread Lightly Blonde Ale, and This Damn Hazy! The kolsch was light, crisp, and very refreshing. After a hot drive from Sacramento, it lasted about 30 seconds. The Pilsner was also light, smooth, and a little of a hoppy finish. The blond was cute and had a nice smile. Oops! I got a little off track there. The blond had a beautiful golden color, a great scent, and had a nice body (Yes, I'm talking about the beer here.). The hazy was slightly cloudy, had a little more of a bite, and citrusy flavor. Not to mention the clever creative name of the hazy. I also ordered two bratwursts in pretzel buns, which came with a bag of chips. The brats were juicy, delicious, and came with a sharp Dijon mustard. For $7.50 it was a great deal and a good way to soak up some of that beer. The staff was very laid back and easy to chat with. They even announced last call for happy hour which is rare. That kind of extra effort appeals to cheapos like me! read more
