This was our first time eating here and our last. I hate leaving bad reviews, but people need to know before they go. The bbq meat had no flavor at all, ribs included. (They do give a very large portion of it) which would be nice if it was actually good. The baked beans tasted like spicy chili. The cole slaw had zero flavor. The Brunswick stew was ok, but had a spice to it as well. I have never had stew that was spicy, I didn't know it was supposed to be. The pickles, chips and sweet tea were pretty good. We threw away a lot of food and wasted about 60$. If you like bland bbq, cole slaw and strange tasting beans and stew, then enjoy. read more

This is our favorite place! We live 10 hours away and always make this part of our vacation trips! We first met Three Lil Pigs 13 years ago on our honeymoon. CASH AND CHECK ONLY, FYI. I found this place the first time my boyfriend and I stayed at Roosevelt Park. I was back in the area for a horse show last February and hit it again on the way out of town. My boyfriend and I went to Wild Animal Safari for my birthday on 3/20 and I was giddy to see this little hole in the wall place open on a Sunday so we dined in this time. I haven't tried the ribs yet, which is unbelievable because I am a HUGE ribs fan, but I can't say no to the chipped pork sandwich. All the sides are good, the portion is generous and my only complaint would be not enough sauce. Next time for sure I'm bringing enough cash to at least get ribs to go on top of the chipped pork. Service is fast and friendly and they have drive-through or you can order at the counter and take out or sit inside or on the patio outside. Have to mention that their most recent posted health inspection was graded 100. You don't even see that at Chik fil A, which has some pretty clean stores. read more

We stopped in after visiting the Safari! It is a walk up ordering system, fix your own drink and grab a table inside or outside. This establishment is super clean and the staff are all very friendly. My family and I all enjoyed our meals! The Bake Beans were my favorite~ they had a little kick of spice! I give this great BBQ a 4 out of 5! I would love to have had a "sweet" choice of BBQ sauce. I ordered the Angus Patty. It was listed on their menu as patty in onion gravy and mashed potatoes. I told them I just wanted the patty and bread. When I got it, they gave me the onion gravy and mashed potatoes. I told them I was allergic to onions and needed another one. They said it was listed that way on the menu so that is how they prepared it. They offered to scrape the onions off. I told them no, that the onion residue would still be there. They argued over it and I told them to just throw it away. No customer service or accountability at all. I will never go back. Do not eat there. read more

I loved how we had more than 1 server come and ask us about the food and checked in with us to see if we were ok . The staff were so kind . The food was outrageous!!! My husband and I were staying at Pine Mountain RV Resort, coming thru here for my husband's job. It was "hungry" time so we went on Yelp to search for local restaurants. Bbq sounded amazing so we decided to try it. Now coming from Mississippi and having a grandfather who won 1st place in a bbq cookoff contest, I am extremely picky about my bbq. But we thought we would try it anyway. I ordered the pulled pork plate, which came with baked beans, coleslaw, green beans and garlic bread. My husband ordered the rib platter, which came with the same sides as mine. We also ordered two desserts, a slice of pecan pie and a slice of chocolate cake (and not just a normal chocolate cake), it was moist with layers of fudgy chocolate. All I can say in one word is WOW and that doesn't even do it justice. It was really amazing. The rib meat just fell off the bone and juicy, which is an absolute must for ribs. The pulled pork was tender and delicious. Honestly, I could go on and on about the food. Everything was DELICIOUS!! The only things that I would comment on that could be considered negative and that I would change are: First, I thought I had more pulled pork than I really did because it was pilled on top of a slice of Texas Toast which gave the pork more height, making it look like there was more than there really was. I would nix the slice of Texas Toast at the bottom of the pulled pork. And second, it comes with "garlic bread". Actually it was Texas Toast with butter and sprinkled with real garlic. It was okay, but we could barely taste the garlic and the bread was not toasted enough. I would use some garlic salt to give it a more garlic taste and I would toast the bread a little more. Other than that the food and desserts were really INCREDIBLE and great prices for the amount of food that you get. I would most definitely recommend this place and we will be back next time we are in this area!! read more

I'll give it a 3. The restaurant itself was nice and I liked they had a screened in patio to eat outside. The bbq was good but you definitely have to have bbq sauce on the meat, otherwise the flavor isn't really there. There wasn't hardly any fat though which is good. It was all good meat. It's the only bbq place in my life I've went to where pickles were considered a side item... like you'd actually have to use one of your two sides if you wanted pickles on your sandwich. I could have swore the menu said they come with the sandwich but both the combos I ordered didn't have any on them, so it's not your typical southern bbq joint in that matter. The coleslaw that normally comes with bbq sandwiches was considered an extra side too. I will say the homemade chips they had were delicious. Much better than fries. The pasta salad was a little dry, it really just tasted like plane noodles with peas and peppers. Overall it wasn't bad, it just wasn't great and didn't really tickle my fancy. If someone else wants to go I'll go back but probably not on my own. A lot of people seem to like it so maybe I just have different taste when it comes to bbq. read more

Wow! We drove by Three Lil Pigs BBQ while exploring the Pine Mountain, Ga. area while we camp at FD Roosevelt State Park. The smell of the wood smoking made us sure that we wanted to stop for supper. Other reviewers mentioned the fall-off-the-bone Baby Back Ribs, so I really didn't pay much attention to the other offerings. The plate came with three 4 oz. sides, and as recommended, I made sure to include the green beans. My other sides were the Brunswick Stew and Cole slaw. Our meals arrived quickly and did not disappoint. One plate contained my 3 sides and 2 slices of bbq bread that was toasted with butter and minced garlic, and a basket was served with a foil-wrapped rack of baby backs. I said it looked like I would need a to-go box based on the amount of food presented. The bones easily pulled away from the meat and was tender and delicious with beautiful smoke marks. The cole slaw was very tasty. The green beans appeared to be canned, but were wonderfully seasoned with meat. The Brunswick stew contained tomatoes, corn, okra, and pork, and had a delightful sweet taste. The garlic buttered bread was fantastic. To-go box? No, that didn't happen; I left nothing after giving the last run to my husband. (He told me it made up for the one Adam gave Eve!) The building appears to be relatively new; nicely painted, with comfy booths and several screened areas to eat if air conditioning or television isn't a necessity. The bathrooms were neat and clean as well. We will definitely eat at Three Lil Pigs when we are in the area in the future! read more
