Stop at Three Lil Pigs on the way back to the real world for a quick lunch. Had a great pork sandwich with potato salad and coleslaw. It was a very clean restaurant with a family atmosphere. Great little gem foe Pine Mountain, Georgia. I was on a business trip from NC and this place came highly recommended. As I like to support the local economy, this place was a near perfect choice. The service is fast and friendly, you are made to feel welcome. There is plenty of room to dine in and the menu choices are wide and varied. There will be no disappointment as your food is made to order. Even when your food is packaged for carry out, it is secure and stays warm for a long while. Great place for BBQ , Carolina based bbq sauce. They have god mashed potatoes ,flavorful gravy, and tender Turkey. The Brunswick stew is full of yummy things and chunks or okra and stewed tomatoes. The prices are very responsible, kids meal under $4 and they are really adult portions so it's a wonderful price. Adult meals are all less than $13. Pecan Pie is so delicious I recommend you get it even if your full to eat later because it's worth every penny and then some. Ordered BBQ for our extended family and the food exceeded our expectations. We arrived at the restaurant and was greeted promptly by two polite and personable employees. This is not good BBQ. The ribs were dry, no flavor. The baked beans sucked. The vast majority of employees were not wearing masks.

What a great find. I noticed this BBQ restaurant on the way to Callaway Gardens and thought it had a cute name. I mentioned it to my wife while we were at the garden and suggested it as a place to eat on the way home. I'm so glad we did. The prices are very reasonably priced. But for the price we paid and the portion we received, it was a steal of a deal! And so unexpected. I ordered the baby back ribs, and the portion was huge. Not only that, it was literally fall-off-the-bone ribs. You could simply slide the bone clean off and enjoy the meat. My wife got a large portion of chipped pork (same as chopped pork). The sides were also good. We got the brunswick stew, baked beans, slaw, and bread. I liked the stew and bread the most. We also ordered a drink. Not only were the food portions large, but the cup sizes were enormous too - about 3/4 gallon. Overall I was very impressed with the service and the food. Holy BBQ! The portion sizes at this place are huge! (For the meat, not the sides). However, even given the small sizes of the sides, I am glad that they actually give you three sides AND bread. So many BBQ places in Atlanta just give you one small side with your meat and no bread and I love sides! My husband ordered the baby back ribs and his portion was quite impressive. His meat was literally falling off the bones - it was so good. I had the chopped pork and enjoyed it. With two meals and a drink, it was about $21 which I thought was well priced. I gave some of my meal to my one year old and even though he threw half of it to the ground, the girls who worked there were totally sweet and cleaned it up before I even got a chance to. It is cash or check only AND the restroom is not the nicest (it is located on back) but I'd def come back here on future trips to Callaway Gardens. read more

We ate at Three Lil Pigs twice during our stay in Pine Mountain. The food is excellent and we enjoyed our meals. The people who work there are friendly, efficient and polite. It seemed liked they all like working there and take pride in their good service. Our food was served quickly, within 5 minutes. The restaurant is clean and we ate on the screened patio one day and outside at an umbrella shaded picnic table the next day. Our visit to Three Lil Pigs was a pleasant experience. read more

My beautiful wife and I discovered Three Little Pigs while staying at the Pine Mountain RV Park. About 1 mile south of the RV Park, the parking lot was full and the smell of pork filled the air. It smelled great. We ordered the pork plate and ribs. Both were very good. The ribs just fell off the bone and were very meaty. The brunswick stew was delicious. We plan on going back before we leave for the beach on Saturday. If you are in the pine mountain area and love pork you should go. read more

Today I had the worst BBQ pork I've ever paid for. It was tough, dry, and tasteless. I shared it with two others who heartily agreed. However, the Brunswick Stew and BBQ baked beans were great! The regular bbq sauce was quite spicy, and I usually enjoy spicy things. The spicy bbq sauce was so spicy my Cajun husband didn't enjoy it. It wasn't just that it was spicy, it wasn't a good flavor. MEDICORE at best...grilled chicken breast on top of a bunch of bread and the chicken over spicing doesn't go with the smoked meat flavor at all...just compete with one another instead. Five reasons why not to eat at "Three Little Pigs" 1. Their ribs - reheated and if they ever saw a smoker it was to heat them up. Arrived at the table wrapper in foil and I could see why when I opened them up. No self-respecting BBQ place would have served them. Fat content at least 75% percent, which tells me they were definitely not cooked low and slow. 2. Sauces - They have two, one is hot as hades, the other is HOTTER than hades. 3. They apparently only have two spices in their spice rack. Cayenne pepper and chill pepper because both their stew and their baked beans reeked of it, 4, Serve your self with plastic utensils and Styrofoam plates, etc. While I don't mind these, just not at a "sit down" resturant. 5. The only wait staff was one little teenage girl who could not stay away from the boyfriend over in the booth... never even offered any service - Chic-Fil-a service it is not. This place must be making it off the tourist at Callaway Gardens, cause even the "Big Bad Wolf" wouldn't return here.... Just sayin! read more

Went here for BBQ after deciding Calloway Gardens was way too expensive for just so-so food. I got a slab of ribs, and a side of both the coleslaw and the baked beans. The food here was also just so-so. The slab of ribs was bland with a layer of a way too spicy rib rub slathered all over it to try and cover up the blandness of the meat I guess. The sauce was good but it didn't help with cutting the heat of the rub at all. Ultimately the rub made the ribs pretty much inedible for me so my fiance ended up eating most of it. The coleslaw and baked beans were really good though so I ended up eating most of those since I couldn't stomach the ribs. read more

Lesson #1 of Road Trips: always carry cash. Especially when going through the Deep South where some places don't take credit cards. Three Lil Pigs is one of those joints that only accepts cash...and checks! I couldn't remember the last time I had my checkbook handy. And Three Lil Pigs is so small there's no room for an ATM. Y'all even have to walk outside and around the back of the building to go to the bathroom. The food is worth it. There's only one size cup for fountain drinks and it holds a half-gallon of beverage. I wish we would have packed a cooler so we could take some of their delicious sweet tea back to Atlanta with us. Our chipped BBQ sandwiches were excellent and the Brunswick Stew was pretty tasty too. I think the ribs are a lot juicier/softer than the chipped pork and definitely worth the extra few bucks. The BBQ sauces, (they offer mild and spicy), tasted great as well. I am writing this review while my son and I are eating our second chipped pork sandwich in 3 days. We grabbed ours to go and enjoyed them at our cabin in Callaway Gardens. There is a little area in front to eat there if you choose. There are only two sauces to choose from; hot and mild. I got one of each and mixed them and it was perfect. The chips are completely addictive and I almost opted for the poind bag they sell but I'm glad I didn't because I likely would have eaten them all in one sitting.
