Hair in my plate

Watch out for the draft beer! Looks like they don't clean their machines like they should. I ordered a Corona and my boyfriend got an Angry Orchard. His was fine, but mine tasted old and moldy. I told the server and asked if I could switch to the Angry Orchard too. She said only the manager could handle it. It took him over 15 minutes to show up. When he finally did, he said they'd check the machines and let us know in a few minutes yeah, that never happened. We finished our food and had to ask again. They called the manager back over and he just gave a bunch of excuses. We literally watched their staff pour out other beers because they tasted bad, so clearly they knew something was wrong. Still, they wouldn't take mine off the bill or switch it out. Also, the server mentioned they had others complaints about the draft beer. And to top it all off, I found a hair in my food after I was done eating. Definitely not from anyone at my table, we all have long hair, and this one didn't match. Honestly, just a horrible experience overall. Now I see why the place was so empty. I will say our server Abby was very sweet and stuck in the middle of us and the "manager"

If Atlanta had a contest for the best wings, Three dollar Cafe would easily be in the final round. THey fry them up crispy. Side sauces are delicious. They started years ago when a Korean American moved here with $3 in his pocket and before you know it, there are 10 locations throughout the area. I've been to a couple and they are always consistent. Good selection of beers, and really good Philly cheese steaks too. They have a "secret sauce" that sets them apart. The vibe is totally a sports bar, so dont think you are getting anything fancy. But if you are looking for some good wings and solid beer selection, you cant go wrong here

It's always a good time at Three dollar cafe. Menu items and drinks are fairly priced and a couple nights out the week they have a live Dj outside. Parking can be a hassle sometimes especially on Friday or Saturday night but if you get there early enough you will be fine. It's nice to have a place in McDonough you can go to with friends spur of the moment to listen to music and grab some drinks. Not all the menu items are great but you always get a good bit of food and for the most part, the service is always solid. The only bad experiences I have had has been with the people at the go station. I know it gets busy but a lot of time they are uninterested and it feels like you are bothering them.

Chipotle Burger and "Korean" BBQ Sandwich

This was my first time going to Three Dollar Cafe. It was literally the first restaurant that popped up on Yelp when I moved to McDonough, so I was super excited after reading all the great reviews. We sat on the patio because it was a beautiful day. Johnny was our server, and he was awesome! Very sweet and attentive and gave great recommendations. I was tempted to make my first meal the Cajun pasta, but I was craving a burger this particular day. And boy oh boy was I satisfied with that option. I had the Chipotle burger, while my friend had the Korean BBQ sandwich. My burger was cooked and assembled to perfection! The huge onion ring with the raw onion, tomato, lettuce and creamy chipotle sauce was absolutely delicious! And the bun was soft and perfectly buttered. I literally ate every bite, including the steak fries, which I'm not usually a fan of, but the meal was THAT good. I did get a chance to taste the Korean BBQ sandwich as well, which was also really good, but I'm happy I stuck with my selection. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other menu items.

Location is extra loud & it's only half-full at 4pm on Sunday. Has dark divey bar feel inside, patio seating is available. Food took almost 30 minutes. Mostly the food was hot, fries were cold. Sandwiches looked good, but were bland. Country fried chicken tasted ok, but seasoning was lots of black pepper.

Not my first time here, but it is my first review for them! This is really good pizza! (Is there…read morebad pizza?) very traditional, thin, Neopolitan style crust. Not huge, but two or three people could enjoy. (6 slices cut) I wanted to try something different so we got two and boxed the rest. Shelby greeted and seated us, and although she lacked a little knowledge on the beer menu, she made up for that with a trip to the bar to investigate our questions on sour beer, and came back with two excellent samples! We settled on a Dr. Robot and the Charcut-a-pie. I loved the toppings and balsamic drizzle. Goat cheese and arugula just go together. A little honey and I was in heaven! The crust on this one was a little well done, which disappointed but, the overall flavor was on point. Next, we sampled the Spicy Italian. I'm usually pretty good with spicy things, and while this was no exception, it did have both of us in a small sweat! If you are averse to spicy, stick with something else. This crust was also cooked and not over done. I'm not sure what McDonoughs' obsession is with vaults, but it seems to be a recurring theme around the square. You'll find vaults or at least doors that look like vaults all over. The rest of the decor inside and outside was well done. Exposed brick gives it immediate rustic charm, while black floors, raw wood art, and leather stools wrap the package nicely. I definitely like their lighting! Oversized bulbs hung around the pizza oven bar (which you can sit at if there's space) and giant hoop rings finish the rest of the space. It isn't that glaring light that spotlights your table, it's just a nice warm ambient light that makes you wanna pour a vintage red into a wine glass over and over. Oh! I almost forgot, they do have an outdoor patio up front, so on those less humid days and nights, I'll definitely be hanging out there!

This is my usual go to whenever at the square and grabbing a bite, the bar is top tier and the…read moreservice is good. The seating and outdoor area are sooo tea, it makes me wanna hang out all the time on a sunny day! Margherita pizza is my go 2
