I used to be a faithful customer to this establishment. I've witnessed him arguing with customers on several occasions, and instead of him trying to resolve issues he reassures them that he doesn't need nor care about them supporting his establishment. I've also witnessed him being very rude and unprofessional to his waitresses. Which probably why with the exception of 2 you NEVER see the same waitress if you do decide to return. However the waitresses are not exempt either because once they take your order they forget you're there. They often bring you incorrect orders I'm guessing because the music in the establishment is soooooo loud that it's hard to hear anything and they read your order back but STILL somehow manage bring you the wrong food but charge you an up charge for dining in. The wings have become dry and the fries are often cold. And you pay for extras sauces but they act like they have to come and get them from a secret store because it's always a hassle to get some. Food: We weren't terribly hungry so we split a 15pc and some fries. The wings were Sanchez, Dirty Bird, and lemon pepper. They were crispy and flavorful. They are not large wings, but I am ok with that completely. The fries were crinkle cut fries and were perfectly cooked. We went on a Mon. , which also offered $5 dollar cocktails(they were good). Customer service: We were welcomed in and sat down where we wanted to sit. She was very friendly and came around enough. So I was fine with the customer service. She took the time to explain flavors and made sure cocktails were fixed in a timely fashion. It wasnt busy. Info and suggestions: some people dont realize you can come in and sit where you want so they really need a sign that says that. They lost about 3 families that were just standing inside the door due to that. They weren't greeted or even told they could sit anywhere. We watched them and felt awkward for them. So that needs to be worked on. Especially for a new business trying to gain customers. It wasn't busy enough for anyone to be ignored. The bartender saw them and stared and looked away...bad business. I gave a 2 star because the food failed flat . The buffalo shrimps were dry and not freshly cooked . The fries were the worst . They were stale and didn't have any salt on them. I have no clue what went on with these. I ordered an extra large blue cheese that I paid for, but I was given ranch and everyone knows blue cheese tastes better than ranch when it comes to wings lol. I was pretty mad about this, because I paid $3.59 for it. I went to the Wingstop up the street from me and got a couple of cups of blue cheese AFTER I got home and settled in to eat and realized I was given ranch. I've been eating J.R. crickets since the original store opened and was excited one was opening a bit closer but every time I call for a to-go order I'm placed on hold for 15 or more minutes and greeted by a rude employee who just says "hey" like they're talking to a friend after being placed on hold for so long. After tonight having waited 35 minutes on hold, I ask to speak to a manager which the employee said the manager or owner wasn't in right now. So i decide to go up there for myself to see if the owner / manager is there who is standing there not doing anything including his other 2 employees (Tara & another employee). Tara is the one who answered the phone and put me on hold. When I walk in I go directly to the manager to tell him what happened, he has every excuse in the world saying they were too busy despite not having a single customer inside and only doing take out as well since dine in is closed during covid 19. I told him how I also run my own business in which he tells me I obviously don't know a business is ran because he was assisting customers and couldn't take my order. 3 people is more than enough to take orders, check out customers, and run orders from the kitchen. I've worked in food service and own/operate my own business now. He tells me he doesn't believe me because his employees come to work every day despite making no tips and him breaking even as well to which I let him know, we'll all of what I just said is why!!!! You have people who don't care about the business and are just collecting a check and an owner who doesn't care enough to put the right people in charge to make sure his business is successful.
